Just as Alec thought he had evaded all of them during his retreat, he realized that his danger senses were blaring, and one of the wolves that had encircled him was missing. So he quickly turned and swung his Changdao along, which was coated in a fiery aura, his blade clashed with the wolf’s claws, parrying the attack, but residual black particles from the wolf claw’s stuck to his chest, making his movements sluggish for a second.Giving another wolf the chance to sank its jaws into his thigh, but Alec merely grunted, bearing the pain, cause with his high endurance, he could cope with the pain temporarily as he glared at the wolf responsible for his impaired agility.Determined to eliminate the threat, Alec shifted from a defensive stance to an offensive one. Alec jolted awake from his sleep, the intensity of his recent deaths leaving an unpleasant sensation in his mind. It was his fourth time dying in the second level of the Beast Forest, and the experience was far from enjoyable. He placed his left hand over the left side of his face, sighing in relief as he felt the warmth and reassurance of his own touch, it had been a while since he had faced the challenges of the second level, and his arrogance had led him to believe that he and his team of golems could take on a Tier 5 demonic beast there, unfortunately he met one with a pack.His defeat served as a harsh reminder of just how far he was from being ready to face a Tier 6 Mage or lifeform. The Alpha shadow wolf, is a Tier 5 demonic beast capable of demonstrating the powers of a newly promoted Tier 6 mage, and he had toyed with Alec throughout the fight, as It spun him around, gave him false hope, only to ultimately crushed him and his golems without even using it’s full powers.T
