“What are you doing, Whitley? Is this a joke?” Harvey continued to stare straight at Whitley with his eyebrows bent downward. Harvey tried to smile and assume everything Whitley said was a joke.
Even his smile became very strange and dubious. “There's no way you'd say something like this at a party.” This was a special party for the family. They must have wanted to surprise him, so they told Whitley to say that. Harvey kept thinking positively about all of this. However, their faces didn't seem to change. They were still sarcastically looking at Harvey. Whitley herself tilted his head and looked up slightly. “I'm telling the truth. There are no lies or jokes now. Look around you, do they think I'm joking?” Shawn glanced at the people there. It turned out that they were looking down on Shawn. Giving him a disgusted look in their eyes. “You are an ordinary man who entered this family because of my grandfather's orders.” Whitley's brows furrowed and the edges rose. Her face began to turn bright red. “That old man suddenly gave a strange order, asking me to marry a man like you. A rat picked out of the trash.” Several family members chuckled when they heard the word 'rat', as they seemed to agree with Whitley's simile. Whitley sighed. “Grandfather threatened that he would remove me from the list of heirs if I didn't marry you. So, I had to do it. It was disgusting that I had to share a room with a filthy person like you. However, grandfather is gone now. I don't need to be with you anymore, do I?” Harvey tried to be calm. He gently looked directly into Whitley's eyes. He wanted to show her his true sincerity. “Whitley, listen to me. Marriage is not something to play around with. Marriage is how we make each other happy.” Whitley gave Harvey a frivolous smile. “Making each other happy you say, Harvey? Take a look... are you any good to me? You're just a burden to the family. Do you think you bring me happiness? I'm ashamed to have been married to someone like you for three years. I'd rather be with an equal, right?” Whitley turned to Andreas while smiling slightly at him. She deliberately did that so that Harvey could see for himself how Whitley wanted her separation from Harvey. Harvey approaches and tries to touch Whitley, but is immediately stopped by Andreas. He looked Harvey square in the eye. “Hey, didn't you hear what Whitley said? She should be with someone who is equal and beneficial to her.” Harvey, who had been holding back his irritation towards Andreas, began to lose control. He furrowed his brows and his face began to turn red. “Shut up! You don't need to interfere. Let alone getting close to someone else's wife.” As soon as Harvey said that, Whitley stepped forward. “You're the one who doesn't know any better, Harvey! I'm already divorced from you. You have ears, right? I divorced you earlier.” The other family members began to corner Harvey. “She divorced you, Harvey. We heard it clearly.” “Be ashamed of yourself Harvey, you're useless.” “Who would want to be the wife of someone like you, Harvey? You deserve to be banished.” These people did not even hesitate to say these things in public. Harvey had already thrown away his pride when he married Whitley, but being publicly humiliated like this was something Harvey could never have imagined. Harvey squeezed his hand tightly. Andreas looked at him with a frivolous smile. “Why? Are you angry? The fact that you heard about it. Do you not accept what I said?” Harvey tried to ignore the man with the annoying face. He looked at Whitley. The woman seemed to fold her arms across her chest with a disgusted look at Harvey. When Harvey took a step forward, she took a step back. Harvey stopped there and took a breath. “Whitley, I'm giving you one more chance. Now come closer to me and I'll forget everything you said earlier.” There was silence after Harvey said that. Whitley and Andreas looked at each other. A moment later, everyone burst out laughing. The family members who were there even laughed until they burst into tears. “Look, this guy is so funny.” “He says stupid things. He acts like he's in control.” “Wake up, you're expendable, you idiot!” Andreas then stepped in front of Harvey. He pushed Harvey's shoulders a few times. “You're an outcast. Poor. Stupid. Useless. No power either. You're just like a cockroach. Existing only to be thrown away.” The man continued to smile as he insulted and pushed Harvey. Because Harvey was so annoyed, he raised his hand and delivered a fist to Andreas' face. The man was pushed back. However, Harvey did not stop. He grabbed Andreas by the collar and punched him in the face so many times that blood came out of his nostrils. “Damn man!” Seeing Andreas being beaten, Whitley did not stay silent. She grabbed Harvey's hand and immediately pushed his body away. Then the woman quickly examined Andreas' injuries. Angrily, Whitley turned to Harvey. “Hey! See what you did? Andreas is hurt. You should have gotten out of this house while I was still saying it nicely. If it ended up like this, I should have told the servants to throw you in the trash!” The sarcastic remark that escaped Whitley's thin lips made Harvey lose his train of thought for a moment. It was as if everything had come to a standstill and was silent. Harvey saw how Whitley held Andreas's face and body with a worried expression. It was different from Whitley's attitude towards Harvey all this time. He often insulted and hit Harvey even when Harvey had done nothing wrong. It was now clear that during the three years of Harvey's marriage to Whitley, the woman had not looked at Harvey in the slightest. Harvey had thrown away his pride to follow William Smith's request to marry Whitley and love her. He accepted the consequences of being humbled in the Smith family. However, it seemed that Whitley was not worthy of Harvey's love. Harvey took a deep breath. “You really want a divorce, Whitley? Well... I'll give it to you. After I endured three years of being your husband, I'm finally going to tell you who I really am. However, I don't think you deserve to know.” Harvey gave his ex-wife and son a faint smile with a piercing gaze. That gaze was met with a red-eyed glare from Whitley. He glared while pointing at Harvey's face. “You don't know yourself! You're going to get charged. You're going to jail!” On the other side, Andreas did the same. He snarled. “I'll kill you, Harvey! I'll definitely kill you, then skin you. I'll throw your flesh to the dogs!” Harvey glanced at Andreas. His eyes did not blink at his bloody face. “Yes, I'm happy to wait for it.” Harvey then walked past the two of them, not caring anymore about what they were doing. He walked through the stairs. The other family members saw Harvey and tried to stop him. “Hey! What are you doing? You must be stealing!” Harvey didn't care what they said. He walked into the room and was soon carrying a bag. “I'm just taking my stuff. It's too valuable to stay in the devil's lair.” Everyone wanted to immediately berate Harvey, but they immediately fell silent when they noticed how Harvey was looking at them. It was a vengeful look. Whitley clucked his tongue. “This loser... is a pain in the ass.” Harvey then walked out of the house. Leaving everyone behind without looking back. It was no longer worth giving them sympathy. In fact, they didn't even deserve a little goodbye. Harvey walked steadily towards the gate. Outside the gate he saw a man with slightly curly hair. Tall and stout in stature, he was also wearing a neat suit. When Harvey opened the gate, the man immediately approached and bowed his head in salute. “Good evening, General.” Harvey nodded in return. “Are you alone?” The man nodded. “Of course. I don't want to be too conspicuous. Why is the General carrying a bag? And more importantly, have you told your wife?” Harvey glanced sharply at the man. “I didn't. After all, she's not my wife anymore, Jordan.” The man opened his eyes wide. He didn't expect those words to come out of Harvey's mouth.Latest Chapter

Harvey didn't say a word. He just stood up straight, glancing briefly at Arden. The glance was brief—but it conveyed a lot of unspoken things. Pride. Recognition. And maybe... hope.Harvey's other followers were just as silent. Not a single one spoke up in defense or rebuttal. They didn't need to. Their silence reflected a deep-seated conviction—a belief in the man who had shaped them. They knew exactly how Harvey chose someone to train. It wasn't random. That person had to have great potential—a hidden light that only those sharp enough to see it could recognize. The training Harvey provided was also different from that of ordinary soldiers. His technique of using ki energy was efficient, going straight to the core of power, without any frills. In a much shorter time, his students could exceed limits that many people considered impossible.Even Vanessa Reid—who had only been training under his guidance for three months—had reached a level of power that left experts speechless with di

Sir Kaelan blinked rapidly, trying to process what had just happened. A hesitant smile formed on his lips, but his eyes were filled with resentment that he was trying to hide.He chuckled softly—a sound that sounded more like a desperate mockery.“Arden... why are you babbling such things?”His staff rose slightly, its tip pointing incredulously at the boy.“How much did Harvey pay you to lie like that? Don't tell me you think people here will swallow your nonsense hook, line, and sinker?”Whispers began to creep among the audience like sly snakes. Some of them moved closer to each other, hiding their suspicions behind hands covering their mouths.“Huh? Come to think of it... maybe the kid really was paid,” muttered someone with raised eyebrows.Other audience members nodded quickly, their eyes narrowing as they tried to remember. “Yes... every time he fought in a tournament, there was always something odd. His victories... too coincidental. Too controversial.”The suspicion spread qu

Sir Kaelan turned his gaze to Vanessa. The corners of his lips lifted in a smile that was more like a sneer than a friendly gesture. He walked slowly, his cane tapping the floor in a rhythm that implied a threat.“Miss Vanessa Reid...”His voice sounded as if he were assessing an item that had lost its value.“A megastar whose star is fading because she associates with the wrong crowd.”Vanessa's eyes narrowed slightly, but she remained standing tall.Sir Kaelan moved closer until his breath could be felt in the air between them.“I don't know if you realize it or not,” he continued, tilting his head, "but Harvey Wilder is ruining your image. Especially after the zombie outbreak."He twirled his staff, as if each spin eroded the self-esteem Vanessa was trying to maintain.“If only you didn't have a relationship with this cowardly God of War,” he said emphatically, “you would be shining brightly throughout Kaelvarion.”Sir Kaelan turned his attention back to Harvey. A smug smile lifted

Sharp whispers slipped among the guests of honor as Harvey stopped in the middle of the arena. Piercing glances came from all directions—from officials in fancy suits to young fighters lined up waiting for the ceremony to begin.Their faces hardened, their noses lifted as if smelling something they didn't like.“He shows up at a time like this? Seriously...”A man in a dark blue suit bowed his head slightly, but his gaze was clearly fixed on Harvey with undisguised hatred.“Tsk... look at the way he walks in. As if he still owns this stage.”A noblewoman hissed as she clutched her fan tightly, almost breaking it.“This proves that he is not willing to be replaced. No wonder he never really wanted to give up the seat of the God of War.”The cynical tone of an officer was so loud even though he was whispering.“All this time, he always said it was for the people. Hypocrite!”Words and insults rained down like hail as Harvey and his entourage walked through the crowd. Alex walked closest

Arden took the water bottle from the medic and immediately gulped it down in a few seconds. His throat moved quickly, as if he had just come out of the desert after days without a drop of water. As soon as the bottle fell empty from his grasp, he took a long breath... then let it out slowly.A faint tension appeared on his face.“So... it had to go that far,” he muttered low, just to himself. His eyebrows furrowed slightly—an expression of annoyance not directed at the opponent he had just destroyed...but at something bigger. Something he remembered—and didn't like. The locker room door suddenly opened.Arden immediately turned around; his right foot slightly back, his hands raised alertly. His fighting reflexes kicked in immediately—there was no knock on the door, and that was enough to make him suspicious. But the man who entered raised both palms to chest height, signaling that he had no intention of attacking.“Hey... hey... relax,” he said in a tone that tried to sound lighthea

“How could he take out Crimson Lion's two best fighters?” Sir Kaelan stood up from his seat, his face reddening until the veins in his neck stood out. The tip of his cane struck the VIP marble floor repeatedly, producing sharp thuds that disturbed everyone around him. His gaze seemed to pierce through Arden, who was standing far away in the arena.“That brat...” he muttered angrily. “He has no title! No track record! He's never even participated in an official competition!” His voice rose. “He must be hiding something. This is not normal!”His female assistant hugged the folder tightly to her chest. Cold sweat beaded on her temples as she tried to calm her breathing. Although trembling, she nodded quickly—as if afraid that a second's delay would cause the cane to be aimed at her.“Y-yes, sir! I... I will file a protest immediately.”Her voice was almost drowned out by the roar of the audience, who were still stunned—between disbelief and incomprehension at what they had just witnessed
