“There's the loser!” Valencia pointed at Harvey who had just come out of the store.
Harvey came out holding his cell phone to his ear. He walked slowly and calmly. Being so focused, he didn't really care about the trivial things around him. He finally stops when Whitley and Valencia stand in front of Harvey with their arrogance. The two women look down on Harvey and fold their arms across their chest. Harvey hangs up the phone. Whitley clucked. “What cheap tricks do you use to fool the people at the store? You're always up to something annoying.” Being forcibly evicted by the most elite jewelry store had certainly hurt Whitley's pride as well as Valencia's. What would the world say if everyone knew that they were expelled from here? Of course they would lose face. Therefore, they deliberately wait for Harvey outside to restore their pride and prove that Harvey can't do things as he pleases. Whitley and Valencia were going to show Harvey who was boss. Valencia raised one eyebrow. “Did you do it to get back with Whitley?” Whitley spat under her breath. She wanted to picture how humiliated she would be if what Valencia said actually happened. “I don't want to imagine it. It wouldn't happen even in a dream. Besides, I have a better man now. Andreas Brown is the perfect man for me.” Valencia smiled lightly at Harvey. “Andreas Brown. Ah... there's no way you can beat him, Harvey. You don't stand a chance.” Whitley smiled dismissively. “Huh? Even Andreas's big toe is worth more than this loser. Andreas is a really great guy. He has a big company, a prominent family, and a handsome face, too.” Whitley glanced at Harvey. “Huh, look at you, Harvey. You have nothing to be proud of. With you out of my life, I've let the most shameful thing about me go. You are nothing more than a cockroach to me, Harvey! You deserve to be crushed in a trash can!” Valencia snorted dismissively. “You didn't even contribute anything to Whitley's life. Know your place, you have no place in the heart or mind of a woman as beautiful and established as Whitley.” Whitley shook her head. “Of course there won't be. In the three years I've been married to this man, all he's done is stay at home and do useless things. He's like a parasite living in my house. I've wanted to throw this parasite out of the house for so long!” Unexpectedly, that was exactly what Whitley thought about Harvey all along. Harvey had thrown away his pride for 3 years and tried to be a different person just for Whitley. Harvey had tried to be a good person. He didn't even retaliate when he was treated as a slave by the Smith family members. Is this how Whitley responded? Treating Harvey as a parasite, when this woman probably didn't deserve anyone's pity. Whitley chuckled again when she saw the door of the jewelry store. Her heartache had not gone away when she was forced out of the store because of Harvey. “For 3 years I endured the shame of having a completely useless husband. It's not fun having a trashy husband. Just when I was free of him and wanted to indulge myself in buying jewelry, I was humiliated by you again, Harvey.” Whitley glared at Harvey. “Where do you think I got the ability to buy jewelry from, huh? I worked hard to bring the Smith family's, Demotion Company into the fold. I've made great progress over the years. It's also because of my partnership with Andreas that I have the money to buy jewelry. Think about it, Harvey, you can't even give me anything but trouble.” Harvey remained calm despite the many insults that had come out of these two people's mouths for him. There was no reason to be upset. “Don't you know who helped you achieve everything? It was me.” Whitley suddenly laughed at that. “You? What can you do? You've been lazing around at home and all you've done is cook food that doesn't taste good at all. For all you know, I've been throwing that food away! You only embarrass me when you show up at the office.” It felt like something was stabbing Harvey in the heart when he heard that. Whitley's words reminded him of the time he was humiliated in front of the Smith family. However, Harvey suppressed it and remained calm. “If your grandfather were alive, he would have slapped you.” With that little sentence, Whitley's face immediately turned red. “Stop talking about my grandfather! He caught a crazy disease in his head before he died! That’s why he asked me to marry a trash like you!” Harvey did not expect Whitley to say such things about his grandfather. This woman really had a very shallow brain. She angrily pointed at the jewelry store. “You'll see, I'll destroy this place someday! I'll level it to the ground. My man could do such a thing!” Harvey gave a small smile. “You can't do that.” Whitley glanced over with a frivolous smile. “Of course I can do it. Andreas has more wealth than you can imagine, Harvey. Getting this savage's shop destroyed is a piece of cake. Can you imagine if he destroyed you? You're even just like a pebble that was accidentally kicked by him.” Valencia burst out laughing. Whitley's analogy was absolutely hilarious to her. Harvey raised one eyebrow. It was very amused to hear Whitley glorify the man. “Don't you know what happened to Andreas Brown?” Whitley snorted. She cocked her head proudly. To her, a man like Harvey would be destroyed in an instant. And Whitley couldn't wait for that. Harvey calmly stepped up until they were close enough. Harvey looked at Whitley with calm eyes. “Andreas will go bankrupt and he'll go to jail.” Whitley laughed. “Look how confident you were when you told that joke. The one going to jail is you, Harvey. Your demon hands have beaten him up and you'll rot in jail for it.” Harvey gave Whitley a very cold stare. In fact, for some reason, Whitley felt that her gaze was so piercing that his chest felt tight. Slowly, Harvey turned around and walked away from the two women. Whitley was transfixed there. It was a sensation she had never felt before when she talked to Harvey. That loser had previously looked so weak and deserving of torture, but that look just now felt so powerful that it made his breathing stop for a moment. Whitley shook her head. “Damn, you're making this up!” A moment later, a black BMW suddenly pulled up beside them. Whitley and Valencia were stunned at how nice the car looked. Valencia gulped. “Whitley! Isn't that a BMW type-RK? That's the newest one! It was just released last month. The price can reach 2 million dollars. I heard that there are only two of those cars in the world.” Whitley was wide-eyed. “Really? Who's the owner?” Valencia shook her head. “I don't know. But that person must be very rich! If that person were my husband, then I would take him for a walk around the city. I'm sure everyone would envy me!” Whitley and Valencia were transfixed waiting to see who got out of the car. It turned out to be a handsome man in a white shirt covered by a black tuxedo. Of course this set Whitley and Valencia's hearts racing. However, the unexpected happened. The man approached and bowed before Harvey. “I have come to fetch you, Master Harvey. Please come in.” The man opened the back door of the car and let Harvey in. As Harvey entered the car, his eyes glanced at Whitley and Harvey could see the frown on her forehead. Her mouth was unexpected until her chin dropped. Harvey knew when Whitley made that face, she was in shock.Latest Chapter

Harvey didn't say a word. He just stood up straight, glancing briefly at Arden. The glance was brief—but it conveyed a lot of unspoken things. Pride. Recognition. And maybe... hope.Harvey's other followers were just as silent. Not a single one spoke up in defense or rebuttal. They didn't need to. Their silence reflected a deep-seated conviction—a belief in the man who had shaped them. They knew exactly how Harvey chose someone to train. It wasn't random. That person had to have great potential—a hidden light that only those sharp enough to see it could recognize. The training Harvey provided was also different from that of ordinary soldiers. His technique of using ki energy was efficient, going straight to the core of power, without any frills. In a much shorter time, his students could exceed limits that many people considered impossible.Even Vanessa Reid—who had only been training under his guidance for three months—had reached a level of power that left experts speechless with di

Sir Kaelan blinked rapidly, trying to process what had just happened. A hesitant smile formed on his lips, but his eyes were filled with resentment that he was trying to hide.He chuckled softly—a sound that sounded more like a desperate mockery.“Arden... why are you babbling such things?”His staff rose slightly, its tip pointing incredulously at the boy.“How much did Harvey pay you to lie like that? Don't tell me you think people here will swallow your nonsense hook, line, and sinker?”Whispers began to creep among the audience like sly snakes. Some of them moved closer to each other, hiding their suspicions behind hands covering their mouths.“Huh? Come to think of it... maybe the kid really was paid,” muttered someone with raised eyebrows.Other audience members nodded quickly, their eyes narrowing as they tried to remember. “Yes... every time he fought in a tournament, there was always something odd. His victories... too coincidental. Too controversial.”The suspicion spread qu

Sir Kaelan turned his gaze to Vanessa. The corners of his lips lifted in a smile that was more like a sneer than a friendly gesture. He walked slowly, his cane tapping the floor in a rhythm that implied a threat.“Miss Vanessa Reid...”His voice sounded as if he were assessing an item that had lost its value.“A megastar whose star is fading because she associates with the wrong crowd.”Vanessa's eyes narrowed slightly, but she remained standing tall.Sir Kaelan moved closer until his breath could be felt in the air between them.“I don't know if you realize it or not,” he continued, tilting his head, "but Harvey Wilder is ruining your image. Especially after the zombie outbreak."He twirled his staff, as if each spin eroded the self-esteem Vanessa was trying to maintain.“If only you didn't have a relationship with this cowardly God of War,” he said emphatically, “you would be shining brightly throughout Kaelvarion.”Sir Kaelan turned his attention back to Harvey. A smug smile lifted

Sharp whispers slipped among the guests of honor as Harvey stopped in the middle of the arena. Piercing glances came from all directions—from officials in fancy suits to young fighters lined up waiting for the ceremony to begin.Their faces hardened, their noses lifted as if smelling something they didn't like.“He shows up at a time like this? Seriously...”A man in a dark blue suit bowed his head slightly, but his gaze was clearly fixed on Harvey with undisguised hatred.“Tsk... look at the way he walks in. As if he still owns this stage.”A noblewoman hissed as she clutched her fan tightly, almost breaking it.“This proves that he is not willing to be replaced. No wonder he never really wanted to give up the seat of the God of War.”The cynical tone of an officer was so loud even though he was whispering.“All this time, he always said it was for the people. Hypocrite!”Words and insults rained down like hail as Harvey and his entourage walked through the crowd. Alex walked closest

Arden took the water bottle from the medic and immediately gulped it down in a few seconds. His throat moved quickly, as if he had just come out of the desert after days without a drop of water. As soon as the bottle fell empty from his grasp, he took a long breath... then let it out slowly.A faint tension appeared on his face.“So... it had to go that far,” he muttered low, just to himself. His eyebrows furrowed slightly—an expression of annoyance not directed at the opponent he had just destroyed...but at something bigger. Something he remembered—and didn't like. The locker room door suddenly opened.Arden immediately turned around; his right foot slightly back, his hands raised alertly. His fighting reflexes kicked in immediately—there was no knock on the door, and that was enough to make him suspicious. But the man who entered raised both palms to chest height, signaling that he had no intention of attacking.“Hey... hey... relax,” he said in a tone that tried to sound lighthea

“How could he take out Crimson Lion's two best fighters?” Sir Kaelan stood up from his seat, his face reddening until the veins in his neck stood out. The tip of his cane struck the VIP marble floor repeatedly, producing sharp thuds that disturbed everyone around him. His gaze seemed to pierce through Arden, who was standing far away in the arena.“That brat...” he muttered angrily. “He has no title! No track record! He's never even participated in an official competition!” His voice rose. “He must be hiding something. This is not normal!”His female assistant hugged the folder tightly to her chest. Cold sweat beaded on her temples as she tried to calm her breathing. Although trembling, she nodded quickly—as if afraid that a second's delay would cause the cane to be aimed at her.“Y-yes, sir! I... I will file a protest immediately.”Her voice was almost drowned out by the roar of the audience, who were still stunned—between disbelief and incomprehension at what they had just witnessed
