2022-09-27 19:00:53William and Charlx are nothing but reaching their limits already. Their hard battle turned into an intense and bloody one. They are now both covered by their blood, and William feels that he is almost done. Charlx acknowledges the strength of William, and he is fitting to become the vice-captain of the Jack Pirates because of his strength and determination alone. Charlx is one step away in becoming a captain himself. He was trained by Reggie personally to be the captain's substitute, as Captain Reggie will retire after this supposed transferring of prisoner, and that is also when Charlx will get promoted to a captain once they successfully delivered the prisoner. However, the Jack Pirates ruined all of that. Captain Reggie's life force is depleting since their battle is intense, and this would be a huge humiliation. The fact that they are getting defeated by some rookie pirates with their ranks at a high level, is embarrassing enough to force them to resign as people will start to mock them and label them weak and paved the way for the Jack Pirates to go and run wild in the vast sea. And Charlx won't let that happen. He stepped back from the panting William and prepared for his one last attack with all his strength in it. William knew it was his limit already, so he was here to deliver his final attack too. Both concentrated their powers into their fists, and with one blow of wind, they opened their closed eyes and was about to commence their final attacks,
"Wind of Fate!" Charlx yelled as he launched at William.
"Gust of Devastation." William whispered.
He just stood there as Charlx is closing in on him,
"Die you fucking pirate!" Charlx cursed as he is now about to deliver his final attack.
His whole right arm is being covered by wind and has the color of green. It looks like a drill, that if William gets hit by it, then a massive hole will be on his torso. But William looked at him. And as the attack of Charlx was about to land on him, William exhaled long, and then he sidestepped to his right so fast that and silent that Charlx didn't even notice it. But Charlx knew that he is fucked. With William already in position, a mini hurricane formed in his right palm, and then he pressed it against Charlx. Then, suddenly, the marine was sent flying as the hurricane grew. While he was in the hurricane, wind blades kept slashing him, all over the place and all over his body. It seems that there was no end to it. But then, William absorbed the wind, and as the bleeding Charlx was falling, William jumped and went above the marine. William then launched his right fist towards Charlx, and with the momentum created by the wind at the back of his elbow, Charlx was sent into the ground and the impact created a 10-foot hole. And in that hole, was the unconscious body of Charlx. William landed on the ground on his back, as he was breathing heavily and is just thanking himself that he won. He looked at his left, to see that his captain is still fighting. William smiled, as Thomas just needs to win and it will all be over. Captain Reggie who was fighting Thomas intensely sensed the defeat of his subordinates. And then, all their soldiers are now defeated by the overwhelming numbers of the enemies. Right now, the mutinous soldiers and the pirates are just waiting for his defeat. However, it won't go that way. His men fought hard even against overwhelming odds, and Reggie is now going to return the favor. He created some distance between him and Thomas as he will now deliver the final attack, as he is long past his limits.
"Hey, Jack, this is going to be my final one. Good job on keeping up with me, I had fun and enjoyed this battle. However, all good things must come to an end. You are strong, but"
Reggie then poured in his last remaining strength into his sword as it emits red aura,
"One Sword Style: Twelfth Armament!" he screamed.
The red aura on his katana expanded, and it was if Thomas is now in front of a dragon as the aura is taking form of a dragon. Thomas grinned, since he is also reaching his limits, he might as well use it. He was saving it for the last moment, and now that it is the last moment, he needs to use this. Thomas pointed the tip of his sword towards the captain, and that is when he also poured his remaining strength into it as the sword is now covered in his purple and black aura,
"Thanks for the great fight! But you'll have to die! Fucking pirate!" Reggie bellowed as he then launched an attack on Thomas at insane speed.
The dreams, ambitions and determination of his soldiers are in this final attack, and he won't waste it. Without them, he would be nothing. That is why, to honor them, he must beat Thomas and send all of them to the gallows. As he was screaming his lungs out, Thomas just took a deep breath. When Reggie was now 10 meters near him, the timing is now perfect,
"Southern Deity Sword Style: Cry of Despair." Thomas hushed.
Reggie doesn't know what this man is blabbering about, but he swings his katana down to finally defeat Thomas. But then, in the last second, the aura surrounding Thomas made him hesitate to swing. He was being engulfed by his own menacing aura, and his eyes are also dark. Reggie clenched his teeth and just continued the attack. However, that is when Thomas grabbed the opportunity to deliver his final attack. His purple and black aura extended like tentacles, and they grabbed hold of Reggie's limbs, stopping his attack. Reggie tried to struggle himself out of this, but it was too late. Thomas suddenly walked past him, Reggie looked at him, and the face of Thomas was wearing this big smirk. Reggie thought it was just an insult, but then, he felt a hundred slashes on his chest. The pain of every slash is equivalent to 10 wounds. This is when Reggie knew that he just got defeated. The aura tentacles that were grabbing him disappeared, as Thomas puts his sword back into his scabbard. But then, Thomas fell onto his knees due to exhaustion. He looked behind him, to see that Reggie is now on the ground and was dealing with the pain Thomas gave him. And with one last smile at Thomas, Reggie fell unconscious, and the winners are now clear. Thomas grinned as he now slowly falls face first into the ground, but then, William caught him and lifted him up his feet,
"You did well, Cap. Now, Jack Pirates! Back to the ship!" William called.
Their 12 members raised their weapons and yelled the yell of victory. This is their first major victory as pirates. It is something to celebrate about. As they walk away from the battlefield, Penny approached William along with Henry and thanked the pirates that helped them. Thomas was out cold, so they could not deliver the message properly, but they promised to be at their ship once he wakes up to properly thank him. William nodded, as the battle for the freedom of Henry and the justice for Angelique and Samuel is now over. Meanwhile, at a roof of a big building, someone was hiding in the shadows, and then a camera flashed.
"This is going to be big!"
