His body felt incredibly light.

As though he had spent his whole life flying, flipping, and moving through the air.

Even Oscar himself couldn't understand it.

Crash!

Bang!!

Smash!!

Even the glass table in the corner of the restaurant shattered when one of the thugs crashed into it.

The man immediately coughed up a mouthful of blood.

"You fought dirty. This is what you get."

Oscar's voice was cold as he looked at the motionless thug.

The man was clearly unconscious—or barely hanging on.

Everyone stood frozen in shock.

Oscar seemed like a completely different person now.

The handsome young man radiated an aura of strength that grew more imposing by the second.

For the first time, Oscar truly felt confident.

Seeing all of his opponents groaning on the floor made him wonder just how powerful he had become.

That spinning kick had felt no different from kicking a soccer ball.

Yet it had taken down an entire gang.

It was insane.

And Oscar still couldn't stop wondering whether all of this power came from the black circlet his grandfather had left him.

He touched his chest, searching for the talisman beneath his shirt.

Then he looked down.

There was no mysterious glow.

No unusual sensation.

Nothing at all.

Everything seemed normal.

As Oscar focused on the necklace, he suddenly noticed movement from the corner of his eye.

One thug remained standing.

The man had never joined the fight.

Instead, he had spent the entire time recording everything on his phone.

Apparently, he intended to report the incident—and the video evidence—to someone.

"Where do you think you're going?!"

Oscar stepped directly into his path.

"Who sent you here to cause trouble?"

Startled, the thug immediately clenched his fist and tried to attack.

But before his punch could even begin, Oscar grabbed his arm.

Crack!

The arm snapped instantly.

"You're pretty brave, aren't you? Tell me! Who paid you?"

Oscar's voice was filled with suspicion.

He pressed down on the broken arm.

After all, he had never had any conflict with these thugs.

Something had to be behind this.

There was no smoke without fire.

"Agh! Der... Der..."

The thug cried out in pain but stopped himself before finishing the name.

He was still trying to protect whoever had hired them.

Oscar released the broken arm.

But the partial name was enough.

He already knew.

He had suspected it from the beginning, but he hadn't wanted to jump to conclusions.

Now everything made sense.

So this was what Derek had meant when he issued that warning earlier.

Derek had deliberately targeted him.

"Give me your phone."

Oscar's voice turned cold.

"You animal!"

The thug refused to hand it over and quickly hid the phone behind his back.

The insult instantly ignited Oscar's anger.

He grabbed the thug by the hair.

The man's head was yanked backward so violently that he cried out in pain.

Apparently, the broken arm alone hadn't taught him a lesson.

Oscar snatched away the phone and threw it onto the floor.

Smash!

The device shattered into pieces.

"Bastard!"

Even now, the thug still dared to curse at him.

Annoyed, Oscar drove his elbow into the man's chest.

Then followed with a punch to the face.

The thug immediately collapsed and stopped moving.

Seeing their companion fall, the remaining thugs quickly dragged away the injured members of their gang.

Without saying another word, they fled from the noodle shop in complete panic.

Oscar allowed them to leave.

The moment they were gone, the restaurant erupted into applause.

Everyone was amazed by Oscar's courage and fighting skills.

It wasn't every day that someone watched a single man defeat ten opponents and emerge victorious.

"Oscar! My goodness! Thank heavens you're alive."

Mr. Teguh wrapped Oscar in a grateful embrace.

"What a ridiculous wager that was, son. But you were incredibly brave. You were amazing."

The middle-aged man had been terrified from the very beginning.

He had genuinely thought Oscar would end up lying dead on the floor.

"That's right. You're a strong and courageous young man."

A feminine voice suddenly sounded beside Oscar.

Oscar turned his head.

Their eyes met.

For several seconds, neither of them looked away.

Oscar studied her carefully.

He was certain he had never seen her before.

The woman looked exceptionally elegant.

Everything about her appearance screamed wealth and sophistication.

But what stood out most was her beauty.

She was stunning.

Almost immediately, Oscar looked away.

The prolonged eye contact made him uncomfortable.

After all, he didn't even know her.

"Would you like to become my personal bodyguard?"

The woman smiled faintly.

"I'll pay you twenty million a month."

Oscar's head snapped back toward her.

Then he glanced at Mr. Teguh.

It was as if he needed someone to confirm he had heard correctly.

"Is that too little?"

The woman tilted her head.

"If so, I'll pay you eighty million a month. How does that sound?"

"What?!"

Oscar's eyes widened.

"Eighty million a month?"

He was even more shocked now.

He simply couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Here's the natural English adaptation, keeping the story intact while removing the Eastern tone and making it read like a Western urban fantasy/action novel:Chapter 15: The Secret WeaponOscar was only one man.Compared to Jinggo and his crew, he wasn't even physically imposing. Yet somehow, his strength had completely surpassed theirs. Even Jinggo's hidden weapon—a deadly star-shaped throwing blade—had been caught with ridiculous ease. What kind of power does that poor bastard have? Jinggo thought bitterly."I don't care what you think," Oscar said calmly. "I've never gone looking for trouble with any of you. As for Damar and Maruk's broken arms, maybe you should stop and think about how that happened. Did I walk up and break them for fun? It's a shame all of you have muscles the size of trucks but brains too small to understand what really happened."Oscar was tired of being treated like the villain. He wasn't the one who had started any of this. He had simply defended himself."Yo
