CHAPTER 151

Amelia rolled in bed and picked up the book she was reading. “You are home?”

“Yes,” he replied and went over to the bathroom.

When he finished bathing, he dried his hair with a towel as he stepped out of the bathroom. He was already in his pajamas.

Amelia lay on her back, the corner of her eyes following all of Leonid's movements. He walked towards the wardrobe and pulled it open.

“Are you mad at me?” Amelia inquired. “I am sorry for going there without informing you. I just wanted to deal with her myself; she tried to hurt my baby, and I couldn't just let her get away.”

She got off the bed and approached him. “Are you still mad at me?”

He shook his head. “I am mad at you for going there and risking your life, but I am okay with the fact that you didn't go alone.”

Amelia peered at him. It seemed that he didn't know that she abandoned Satan to drive the car.

“It won't happen again,” Amelia assured him. “I won't risk my life anymore, and I have something to ask too.”
