Niel put his cell phone in his pants pocket after ending the call. After that, he approached his boss who had just come out of the bathroom.

"Mr.?"

Demian didn't answer. He was focused on drying off and then putting on a shirt. Without having to ask, Demian could easily guess what Niel was going to say. If it wasn't about Dylan, it would be about someone who wanted to find trouble with him.

"The day after tomorrow, the shareholders want to hold a meeting. They're going to discuss Mr.Dylan joining the company." Niel cleared his throat softly. "Should it be allowed? Mr.Dylan doesn't have any experience. He'll just be a scapegoat for those greedy for money."

"That's why God gave people brains. It's for thinking," Demian said casually. Casual on the outside, but he was actually angry. It looked like Dylan really had the guts to fight him.

"What does that mean, Mr. I don't understand."

There was a rough snort of breath after Niel spoke. Seeing that, he immediately realized he had offended his boss. Preparing to receive a tantrum, Niel was surprised when his boss suddenly laughed. Instantly, the room felt very horrible. Niel's hair stood on end as he felt the horror of the laughter.

"God always gives brains to humans who will be born into the world, but unfortunately he forgot to include Dylan's birth. That's why he was willing to be used as a scapegoat by those greedy people. With his minimal business experience, can that snot-nosed kid subvert me?" Demian confidently laughed at Dylan's stupidity. After which he turned around, staring coldly at Niel who was bowing his head. "Give that snot-nosed kid a proper place to work. I want to see how far he can take me."

"Are you sure?"

"Do you believe he can dethrone me?"

"That's impossible. You are the best of the best. It's highly unlikely that Mr.Dylan can do it. Unless God directly intervenes to help, this impossibility can only be dismissed," Niel said with certainty. Having stood by Demian Stewart's side for years, it's clear that Niel knows what he's like. Up until this point, there was no one who could compete with his business genius. Then how could a snot-nosed kid who had just finished his bachelor's degree be able to do that? Nonsense.

"Are you being a sycophant now?"

Demian walked to his desk and picked up a cigar. He didn't light it right away, just stared at it while clenching his jaw.

"You can kill me if that proves to be true." Niel didn't mind. He quickly lit a match and burned the end of the cigar in his boss's hand. "What's the point of being a sycophant when I could have gotten where I am with hard work and dedication. Such a weakling doesn't deserve to be by your side."

"Perfect answer. I like it."

"Thank you."

After killing the old woman and cleaning up, Demian's mood improved. He then inquired about the mastermind behind the poor old lady's careless actions.

"Who was the culprit?"

"Mr.Khiel. And that fool is probably dead by now."

Niel took out his cell phone. He then dialed the number of the guard he had assigned to take out the traitor.

"How was it? As always, I refuse to hear bad news. Your lives are at stake!" Niel sarcastically said once the call was connected.

[There was a bit of a problem, but now it's solved. Mr.Khiel's head is with me. What should we do?"]

"Wait a moment." Niel looked at his boss for direction. "Mr, what's the next order?"

The corners of Demian's lips pulled up. Satisfied to see the work of his subordinates. Blowing cigar smoke into the air, he gave them further orders. Who dares to make trouble, must end up miserable. No one is an exception. Must be eliminated to the roots.

"Send him to his boss, then kill his entire family. I don't like any revenge demands from the traitor's descendants. It's a hassle and a hindrance to my business!"

Niel nodded. "Did you hear that? Finish off Mr.Khiel's family without a trace. Remember, without a trace. Understood?"

"Okay."

The call was turned off. Niel then looked at his boss who was enjoying a cigar. There was something nagging at the back of his mind, but he hesitated to say it.

"Just say it. There's no point in keeping it to yourself. I'm not a psychic who can read people's minds," Demian said, sensing that Niel was holding back from speaking.

"About Mr.Dylan, are you sure you want to let him join B&F Corporation?"

"You think?"

"Mr, sorry. My hunch is that Mr.Dylan's arrival to this company will bring big trouble. B&F Corporation is a giant company. It would be very dangerous to let someone with little experience like him get involved. I'm afraid it will cause a lot of harm. Not to mention the mixed hands of Mrs.Katty. She will definitely find many supporters to strengthen Mr.Dylan's position here. Please reconsider!"

Niel had a good reason for saying this. Let alone being part of the Stewart family, just being a servant could be targeted by the enemy. Moreover, the one who will join is Mr.Demian's younger brother. It was not impossible to bring many traitors into the company. This was what Niel was worried about.

"That snot-nosed kid came to fulfill a challenge from me. So you don't have to worry. I dared to invite him, that means I have considered his abilities." Demian took a deep drag on his cigar then slowly exhaled the smoke. "They want me to step down from this throne so badly. Let's just say that now I'm kindly giving them a chance. Whether or not he'll throw a tantrum later on, it's definitely going to happen anyway. Dylan came as my enemy, Niel. And you must know what kind of actions he can take."

"Is it necessary to place spies?"

"You must. My father has made a big mistake by letting a mother and child snake live in our house. So I won't repeat the same mistake by ignoring their existence. Be prepared. The real enemy has already surfaced."

After saying that, Demian got up from his seat and stepped out of the room. He walked towards the meeting room where the shareholders' meeting would be held tomorrow.

Wanting to knock him off the throne? That was a ridiculous impossibility to discuss. Why wait for Dylan to show up at the company if it was that easy to oust Demian? It felt like Demian wanted to blow the heads off the people who foolishly sided with that snot-nosed kid. Having a brain, but only used as a display. It was better to rot in the ground than to be the trash of other people's lives.

"Make a hell within a hell. Remember my message. When you're at the top, never once trust another person. Because the only one who can't be a traitor is yourself," Demian said as he rubbed the main chair he usually sat on. This touch warmed his heart. How could he be willing to give it up to someone else. Even more so to those who have long been parasites in his life. "There is no such thing as brothers in business. Everything is common, including draining blood from the bodies of your own family members. I didn't want to be cruel, but they insisted. So I'm ordering you and the guards to feel free to finish off Dylan and his mother."

"Then what about Mr.Morgan?" Niel was agitated. This was not an order, but a must-do. "Mr.Morgan will definitely kill us all if he dares to touch Mr.Dylan."

"What can that old fart do. He's already sickly now. He's just waiting for his death to come."

"But ...."

Sreettt

Niel tried to remain calm as Mr.Demian strangled her neck. When his boss took offense, the least thing to do was to show a panicked and frightened reaction. It was normal, and it would be saved by itself.

"You dare to doubt me?" growled Demian with a fierce look in his eyes.

"No, Mr. I was wrong. I shouldn't have said that," Niel said casually.

"Wrong or not wrong, you've already offended me."

Bugg

One punch flew so hard into Niel's solar plexus that he bent over and coughed. Demian, without feeling the slightest pity, delivered another blow to his chest. Niel vomited blood, but that did not satisfy him. Demian pulled out the gun tucked under Niel's coat and pointed it at his head.

"In my eyes not a single life is precious. Don't just because you're my assistant then you can talk all you want. Remember, Niel. Your life is mine. I'm free to take it anytime I want. You idiot!"

"Dad, how are you?"There was no reaction from Demian when Gwen, his son, said hello. He remained focused on the laptop screen, busy checking his work. "Is my arrival a bother?" Gwen asked disappointedly. Five years abroad and only this morning's return to her homeland had left her with a deep sense of longing for her father. However, Gwen had to be satisfied with swallowing back the longing when she found her father's very cold response. Disappointed, but still trying to be patient. "This morning mom said you weren't feeling well. How are you doing now? Is it much better?""I'm busy. Don't talk too much," Demian said in a very flat tone. He was too lazy to bother with this kid's questions."All these years we haven't said hello to each other, is there no longing in your heart? I'm your son, Dad. I even wish .... ""Enough!" Demian snorted harshly. He reluctantly looked at Gwen who just kept talking. "Don't ever expect anything from me because it will never materialize.""Why?""No co

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday. Happy birthday to Gwen. Yeyyyyyyyy!!"Cheers of applause filled the front yard of the Stewart family home. Today is Gwen's one-year-old birthday celebration. Gwen Loreg Stewart. The name given to her by Dylan. It was a great fortune for Rosalind and Demian to have a son. And twelve months have passed with great joy. Dylan is now an art activist whose name has been recognized by many people. Katty and Morgan have a harmonious relationship with mutual love and affection. As for Rosalind, she spends her time taking care of her only son who is so cute and adorable. Then Demian .... "Sir, it's Gwen's birthday. Are you sure you don't want to go home?" asked Niel while looking at his boss who was enjoying a cigar. Making it through the big storm did not make this man willing to trust others. His boss was still suffering from a crisis of trust. It was even worse now that he was suspicious of his o

"Mr.Demian, congratulations on Ms.Rosalind's pregnancy. Soon B&F Corporation and the Stewart family will have a successor. You are very lucky,""That's right. You are an extraordinarily lucky man. Having such a beautiful and fertile wife, the goddess of fortune is always on your side. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why you are so secretive about your relationship. It must be because you already know that Ms.Rosalind has a very good hand line, right? Hahahaha,"Compliment after compliment Demian continued to receive from his business colleagues. However, these compliments did not make him feel happy. On the contrary, Demian felt threatened when these people kept mentioning the heir. (Their words sound like mockery that I have created my own competition. This is not true. How can a baby who is only as big as a corn kernel already be hailed as an heir? Me! I am the true heir. It's also thanks to my hard work that the company is number one in the country. Cihhh!) Niel secretly watche

After weathering quite a storm, the Stewart family finally got the news that excited me. Rosalind was positively pregnant. This made many people rejoice at the good news. "Finally our darling will soon have a grandchild," Katty said as she wiped away tears. She was so moved that she cried knowing that Rosalind was pregnant. "Yes, dear. I never thought that at my old and sickly age, God would still give me the opportunity to experience the joy of being a grandfather. Our family is truly blessed," Morgan said, equally moved. "Don't talk like that. It's only your physique that looks old, but you're actually still very handsome. That's why I can never move on to another heart. You're still the best that's ever stopped by my heart."Katty's answer just now made Morgan unable to help but smile. Since the incident some time ago, he decided to just forgive her. Because no matter what, the misunderstanding that happened was because she couldn't be assertive. Thinking too much about Demian's

In a fairly dark room, there sat a silent man by the window. There was no visible expression on his face. One thing was for sure, this man was caught up in a thought. (Am I really like this because of the trauma of my mother's death? But how did Dylan know that? He wasn't even born when mom died. Am I mistaken?) Four days after his fight with Dylan, Demian hadn't shown up at home or at the company. His heart was too troubled, confused about what was really going on. Dylan's words made such an impression on him that he couldn't close his eyes for a moment. As a result, these four days Demian has transformed into a zombie who lacks blood. Drrt drrttThe cell phone on the table vibrated, but Demian remained in his position. He was ignorant. The person calling was probably Niel, so it was predictable what the man would ask. "What exactly happened to me? Why do I seem to have lost my zest for life? For days, I've been living in a dark place. How could a Demian break the discipline to w

  • Chapter 145

"Sir, please don't be stubborn. Your condition is still very weak. Stay here and let the guards do the work. Okay?""Don't get in my way. Dylan is in danger, his life is at stake. How can I just lie back and relax when my son's life is on the line?!" shouted Morgan in frustration. The IV tube in his hand had been forcibly removed, causing blood to splatter on the floor and blanket. There was no more pain, no more weakness. All that remained was fear and worry. "Get out of the way. Let me get out of here. Demian's temper is very bad. Only I can prevent him from killing Dylan. Please get out of the way!"Knock knock knock"Dad, I... gosh, what's going on here?"Rosalind, who had guessed that her father-in-law must have made a mess after hearing the news that Demian wanted to kill Dylan, decided to come to the hospital immediately. And sure enough. Arriving in this room she found that her father-in-law was throwing a tantrum and rebelling to be let go. Immediately, he played a charade. N
