Fleeting thoughts and Resolution..

Swish-! Swish-!

In the personal training ground behind the building I lived, I swung my katana to the movements that I saw back in morning.

The body knew how to move, and it could be done instinctively for the most part.

"Haaa,Haaa"

I stopped in my tracks and breath out my exhaustion. It has been an hour since I started swinging my sword.

If I thought back from the concept of my old world, it was a great feat to hold on for 1 hour continuously, but..

" Terrible..."

Thats all, I could mutter.

I wasn't being 'Haughty'. Neither was I being impatient... maybe a little bit?

" Haaa.. "

I breathed a sigh, and sat down in a lotus position like those martial arts novels. Remembering the sensation I felt back in the early morning, I channeled the energy that sprouted from my navel all around my body.

I kept channeling my Ki as I gathered natural Ki from the atmosphere. The process went so naturally it felt almost abnormal. As the Ki form the nature was getting absorbed by me, my face scrunched up like I had been constipated for a while.

As I repeated my meditation and training in a cycle, I kept thinking about Blake's fate... My fate.

(The Dragon Monarch saves the day)

Just like the name sounds. Nothing goes well for the antagonists. They keep suffering and the Protagonist come in to save the day.

The Protagonist was arrogant and very much so. After all he was a dragon soul from the same world.

1000 years back

God used his power to create the world and left behind the 7 Transcendental warriors to protect the world along with 6 transcendental spirits . Naturally they were worshipped like gods by the common populace.

Unknown to all there was another guardian that lurked in the shadows living his days freely. The Dragon Monarch.

One day a warrior found a strange rock of unknown origin. It emitted a foreign almost revolting energy. Normally they would have chose to throw it destroy, or to seal it in a separate place.

But years of boredom and the curiosity that lurked behind the darkness of the rock, took the better of their judgement. After experimenting with the rock for countless times, a result came.

A result that no one wished for. An abomination that couldn't be stopped by their power alone. The rock held a Magic circle engraved. Seven pillars of darkness rose from 7 corners of the world.

The 7 heroes Understood their fault. For the future survival of the Races, one of the heroes was sacrificed, creating the Hero Prophecy system that would alert the world before the calamities and summon heroes that would fight these Calamities.

The Heroes couldn't pass down their powers, so they sealed the 6 transcendental spirits into specific Mythril Armaments.

After the spirits were forcefully sealed against their will, they moved on a sacrificial campaign, sacrificing each of their lives to delay the awakening of the 7 pillars of calamity.

Yes, the calamities are so strong even transcendental heroes would have died if they tried to stop it alone each.

Unfortunately one pillar was left behind due to the vacancy of the hero that made the Hero summoning system and the dragon monarch had to come out.

He went around killing the demons that had leaked before the pillars were sealed.

After killing one of the 7 Demon Monarchs, he died.

Later his soul, traversed back to Earth, where he grew up until he was summoned again as a matter of fate.

Now that the story was progressing against the plot, I had to make sure to become enough strong to hold out against the calamities.

In the original story, Blake died in the 2nd calamity that suddenly awoke along the Forest Of Nox.

More importantly, he didn't die fighting the Calamity or the monsters that arose from the Calamity.

I glanced back at the black katana that hung along the left side of my waist.

"Huuu.."

I took a deep breath.

When the calamity awoke the spirit of darkness that was sleeping for the last 1000 years woke up. The resentment it had piled inside came out as a tyrannical rampage. He started killing soldiers and the monsters without difference.

Finally, the protagonist severed his neck in front of the girl he loved . Lisa looked back at his corpse in pity and contempt. After saving the city from the calamity, Kale smiled back brightly to the people. It was then that Shera, started to fall for Kale and his charms.

Yes. The author was heartless to the Hero and so was the plot. But...

" What infuriated me more was..." I muttered, my eyes burning in pure rage and hatred as I glanced back at the Dark Katana that lay by my waist.

' True, the Protagonist and Lisa were heartless. Even Shera's reactions were resentful. But... This fuxking katana!'

I glared with much more resentment than before.

' The spirit after getting defeated, came out of Blake's body and bowed before Kale, calling it the " Coming of the Dragon King! " before he dissipated into thin air.

Doesn't it sound pathetic the more you read? It is the same for the rest of the heroes that have been summoned by the "6 Heroes" church.

The heroes get treated like pathetic worms and the princesses they were betrothed to start fawning over the protagonist, finally ending up into his harem.

Just think about the pain they went through!

While reading through their deaths, I felt sad and I resented the author for it more than anything.

Even so I just wrote a neutral Comment under his novel

" I really feel bad for the Heroes!"

and the next day I find myself possessing the same character that I pitied.

As I kept swinging the practice sword I deliberated over my plan.

'First I have to find a nest of Black Dragonets. After that I will launch a full scale attack on the Spirit Village, Melandoir.'

"Hehe..."

A small chuckle escaped my mouth. Was I probably insane?
