The Campus

“Hit him! Hit him! Hit him!”

The scream echoed throughout the campus, a scream full of joy as a human child cowered in fear and was covered in stinking rotten eggs.

The crowd of students formed a circle, watching the excitement without pity. The cowering figure could only remain silent, starting to get scared.

Begging for help? Obviously he can’t! That figure had no one who could help him. He had no friends, he also had no acquaintances.

The end, was something what he might feel now.

“Hit him! Hit him! Hit him!”

“Shut up! Calm down!” The exclamation immediately made everyone completely silent.

A man with sapphire blue eyes walked forward a little, then he smiled grinningly at the still crouching figure.

“Hey, Alexander Wolvin. Didn’t I warn you to stop fantasizing about my girlfriend? How many times have I given you this kind of warning, huh?”

Michelle….

The man with sapphire blue eyes grabbed the body of a girl with gray eyes. Both of them smiled triumphantly at the slump of the crouching figure.

“Shouldn’t you know, Alexander Wolvin, where you stand on campus? You are just an invisible mouse, while Michelle is the most popular student on campus, and I …” The man trailed off. “I am Justin Macrus, the only son of entrepreneur Tom Macrus. Can you compete with me? You wish!” The man burst out laughing after saying that. “Michelle only approached you out of pity, do you think your closeness means that Michelle loves you? Don’t dream! Michelle doesn’t even want to touch you!”

After saying that, Justin, the man with sapphire blue eyes, ordered everyone there to disperse, leaving the crouching figure alone.

Not long after, the figure of the little girl wearing glasses and wearing all black clothes ran over to him.

"Alex, are you okay?" asked the girl.

She helped the figure named Alex pick up his scattered belongings, then helped Alex to stand up.

Alex, the man with caramel brown eyes, stood up. His gaze was full of fear, his tall body bent slightly as he picked up the bag that his friend had tidied up.

You could say that little girl was the only friend Alex had. They were friends because they were both on the list of invisible students.

Meanwhile Michelle?

Yes, over the last few months Michelle approached Alexander and offered him a friendship. Alexander thought that what Michelle had done to him was sincere, so Alexander was quite confident that Michelle loved him. But in fact….

It was all fake, part of a game played by Justin. He told Michelle to approach Alexander and play with Alexander’s heart because they knew that Alexander really loved Michelle.

“Thank you very much, Jane. I had no idea what would possibly happen to be if you weren’t here.”

“Alexander Wolvin, haven’t I warned you many times to stay away from Justin and Michelle? Why do you like to find trouble with these two so much? Do you like being treated like this, huh?”

“Of course not.” Alexander walked ahead of Jenifer.

He went to one of the sinks on the right side of the park, then started to take off his shirt which was full of rotten eggs.

“You should shower, Alex.”

“I know, otherwise I definitely wouldn’t be allowed on the bus.”

“You are such a wretch, I pity you.”

Alexander became silent again, then he looked at the girl whose height was only equal to his chest.

“Listen to me, Jane. I didn’t do anything at all. I just stood on the side of the road watching Justin and Michelle pass in front of me. Was I wrong?”

“Then?”

“Then Michelle told Justin that I was looking at her with a lewd look. I really didn’t think that could happen. Even though some time ago Michelle was really sweet to me. But today, it was as if Michelle didn’t know me at all. Damn.”

“And Justin believes her?”

“Yes, Justin is her boyfriend anyway.”

“If you know Justin is Michelle’s boyfriend, why are you still hopeful and easily get big-headed when Michelle approaches you? You even said confidently that Michelle might love you. You’re crazy, Alex.”

“I only thought about that because of Michelle's sweet treatment of me recently. Do you think I'm mistaken?”

Jenifer rolled her eyes boredly, she glanced at Alexander and returned to the topic of where the incident could have happened.

“Then what was your response, did you just keep quiet?”

“What can I say? Even a thousand times I said no, Justin wouldn’t believe it.”

Jenifer took a deep breath, finally put her hands on her hips. She did not expect that bullying like this would continue to happen to Alexander.

Meanwhile, Alexander himself couldn’t do much. All he can do was accept every bullying he received almost every day.

Alexander lowered his face deeply. If only he had been born into a rich family, his fate would not have been like this. Alexander can definitely have a classy style like Justin and can fit into Justin’s circle of friends. He can certainly be one of the popular guys on campus and he will have a lot of fun.

But in reality?

“Okay, I understand now that money is king. What I need now is money.”

Jenifer rolled her eyes in embarrassment at Alexander’s words.

“Do you want to compete with Justin? Impossible, Alex. You’re just a part-time worker at a bakery, your salary there will never be able to compete with Justin’s.”

“I’m just wondering, if the world turns around and my fate could change too. What if I became a popular guy and was able to get Michelle. Surely people’s views will change towards me, and Michelle will stop looking down on me.”

Jenifer rolled her eyes in embarrassment at Alexander’s words.

“You’re just dreaming, Alex. Shut up and take a shower quickly.”

“I can only hope that a miracle exists.”

Alexander walked towards the bathroom with a sour expression on his face.

Then he started to notice that if the bathroom was completely dark, there were usually several lights on. But why was everything dark now?

Until finally, Alexander looked for an electric switch to turn on the lights, then…

Boom!

Alexander did not realize that he had been electrocuted and the shock managed to blow up the bathroom, until his soul flew away quickly.

Alexander felt like he was floating, he didn’t remember anything, it was as if his soul had just been ripped out of his body.

Until finally, he opened his eyes again from initially being closed. Then he frowned perfectly, because he felt like he was in the wrong place now.

“Am I in the wrong place?” Alexander muttered to himself.

Of course, he felt like he had walked to the bathroom. But after he walked, he didn’t find the white bathroom door with the graffiti of mischievous hands on it.

What Alexander found was a very large door. The door was made of gold, and in the center was a picture of a giant sun.

Alexander frowned again, shaking his head as he pressed the image of the sun. Until the door opened and the light began to shine into his caramel brown eyes.

“Oh My God!”

Alexander immediately took a sitting position, his breath panting perfectly. Cold sweat even started to pour out all over his body.

“Mr Steave, are you awake?”

Alexander frowned perfectly, he didn’t expect that there would be an adult male voice in his house.

Because from childhood until adulthood, Alexander only lived with his grandmother. So, was that really a man’s voice?

Moreover, how could that figure call him Steave? Because Alexander’s family name was Wolvin, not Steave or whomever that was.

“Who are you?” Alexander asked.

An old man wearing a servant’s outfit came into his room, half-bowing while carrying a tray containing a glass of juice and Alexander’s favorite sandwich.

“Good morning, Mr Steave. I am your servant.”

“Are you crazy?” asked Alexander. “Where is Grandma?” He asked again.

“Whose grandmother do you mean, sir?”

“What do you mean exactly?”

Alexander spread his gaze again, he was stunned to see that the atmosphere of the room and the interior of his room had changed completely.

This wasn’t Alexander’s room.

“Where is this? Where is my room? Why am I here?” Alexander asked again.

“This is your room, Mr. Steave. You are the only son of the Steave family. Incidentally, Mr. Steave’s family has all died due to a tragedy. Now, Mr. Steave and several servants who live in this mansion are left behind.”

Alexander shook his head, he left the room to just check what had happened, and it was true. The mansion was truly very large and luxurious.

Alexander pinched his cheeks, it hurt so much. So, what happened to him was … real?
