Chapter 13

Sebastian immediately stood up from his seat. It was astounding to see the card Aldrich was holding, even though he couldn't have that black card. A card with a very high limit, and only wealthy people can have it.

"Sebastian, what are you doing?" asked Vera worriedly. She also stood up and held Sebastian's shoulder. Then she looked back at Aldrich, who was dealing the cards in his hand.

"Your partner is very good at deception, Selena."

Selena immediately looked at Vera and Sebastian, who were next to Vera. He stared in surprise and blinked his eyes slowly.

"What do you mean, Vera?" Selena replied to Vera's words. She was actually startled by what Aldrich showed. She had heard of the black card but couldn't accept Vera's terms.

"You and your partner are very much the same. You're both a con artist and a thief; just like you, that useless man performs a charade using that fake card."
