Andrew was sitting in his study.

"Getting your number was easy. So now you say I have mental issues? I wonder what will happen if I undergo a mental evaluation and post it online, proving that I am perfectly healthy," Andrew said, with a cold smirk.

"What exactly do you want from me?" Mr Nelson asked him angrily, narrowing his eyes as his fists clenched on the desk.

"I don't want much from you. I just want you to suffer.” Andrew chuckled coldly.

“I want to bring your reputation down. I want you to always watch your back, wondering who would stab you in the back. I want to give you a beating so that you know that it actually hurts to get beaten by someone and ganged upon.” Andrew paused and exhaled.

“I just want to see you fall, and I'll be happy," Andrew told him. That was how he felt and that was what he wanted to do, and he wasn't going to hide it from him.

"If you want money, I can do that. I'll give you any amount you want. You can disappear and I won't look for you anymore," Mr Nelson told him, he wanted to take this opportunity to lure Andrew somewhere, so he could kill him off ,but Andrew wasn’t that stupid.

"I don't need your blood covered money. Don't worry about it. I'll reveal all those evil crimes you did in secret and how your company succeeded off another man's blood and sweat. Don't think I'll let you off easy," Andrew told him, his voice filled with rage.

"Look here, boy, I have been in this business longer than you could ever imagine, and I can tell you that many threats have risen up against me and I neutralised all of them. And I'll do the same to you," CEO Nelson warned him, his tone turning dark.

"Well, you can kill or harm your rivals. But I am not them. We will see who will have the last laugh," Andrew said, ending the call.

Beside him, his secretary was standing silently, waiting for instructions.

"Have you arranged everything?" he asked his secretary ,because he needed to get this done immediately.

"Yes. Everything has been arranged," the secretary replied with a nod.

"Good. Do it. I want to see how he reacts," Andrew said, with a cold smile.

"Yes, sir," the secretary said and left the office quickly.

Meanwhile, in Mr Nelson's mansion the next morning, he was sitting at the breakfast table eating with his family, when suddenly one of his bodyguards rushed into the living room.

"Sir! You need to come immediately. It is important," the bodyguard told him urgently. Mr Nelson looked up, annoyed that he had been disturbed.

"Why are you calling me? What happened?" he asked, putting his fork down.

"The warehouse where the goods are kept , we don't know who went there overnight. They injured our employees and guard, cut off all communication, and took everything in the warehouse and destroyed it," the bodyguard said immediately. Mr Nelson’s eyes widened as he stood up.

"Which warehouse is he talking about?" his wife asked, but Mr Nelson didn’t answer. He pushed his chair back roughly and followed the bodyguard out without finishing his breakfast. Moments later, he got into his car, and they drove to the warehouse at full speed.

While in the car, he could not stop panicking as he made call after call, wondering how something like this could happen. The bodyguards explained that twenty armed men had stormed the warehouse. They were outnumbered, but they still fought , only to be beaten down. The attackers loaded all the illegal drugs from the warehouse into their trucks and drove off, cutting off all communications and seizing their phones.

Mr Nelson’s heart pounded. Those drugs were meant for a major deal that would bring him more money. Without them, how was he going to explain things to the Russians he was supposed to supply? He had already taken a deposit he couldn’t return.

Mr Nelson began making desperate calls to the police and his contacts.

"One of my warehouses was robbed. I need your help to find who did this. Please give me any updates and I shall compensate you," he spread the information widely, hoping someone would give him a lead. If he didn’t bring back the drugs or produce more, the Russians would want their money back , and they wouldn’t be polite about it.

When he got to the warehouse, he was stunned by the destruction. All the equipment used to process the illegal drugs was smashed. The entire place was wrecked. His injured employees sat on the ground, groaning in pain.

"Do you have any idea who did this?" he asked one of the men on site.

The man nodded. "I think I do. Follow me," he said, leading Mr Nelson to a wall.

There, painted in bold letters, was a message.

“After they loaded the drugs into their truck, this was the last thing one of them did before leaving,” one guard said.

"I told you that I wanted you to feel pain. Let me see how it feels to take something very important from you. Good luck."

Mr Nelson froze. There was only one person who had said those words to him before ,Andrew.

"How can this be happening? It cannot be Andrew. He’s just a powerless man. His father is not backing him, so how could he get men strong enough to take down my top bodyguards? Who’s helping him?" he muttered in disbelief.

"Did he say anything else before leaving?" Mr Nelson asked.

"Oh yes," the man replied. "He said, “Tell your boss this is just the beginning. " I will get that heart back."

Mr Nelson gasped.

"Heart?" He asked with widened eyes.

He quickly pulled out his phone and decided to call his son, telling him to work from home. But no matter how many times he tried, the call wouldn’t connect. So he called his wife.

"Where is Paul?" he asked quickly.

"He just left for work," she replied.

"I am calling him and he's not answering," Mr Nelson told her, his voice shaking.

"Call his driver," she suggested.

She sent the driver’s number, and Mr Nelson called immediately. Just like with his son’s phone, there was no answer.

"No, no, no," he muttered in fear.

"Call the police. Something has happened to my son…"

BOOM!

A deafening explosion erupted in the warehouse, the blast force knocking them off their feet and slamming them onto the floor.

Now, Mr Nelson knew Andrew wasn’t joking, when he said he would make him feel pain.

And this time, he had to take him seriously or he would have a lot to lose.

There's a thing about rumours ,when it begins to spread, it is very hard to contain it. And there are always bad consequences, be they true or false.Yesterday was Mr Nelson's birthday, and today, since he came to work, the thing he had been doing was answering one call after another, assuring his business partners and some of his friends that he had no hand in the death of his late daughter, who was adopted.Right now he was on the phone with someone he had gone into partnership with recently , a businessman who was known to be upright and who did not want anything that would affect his business."Mr Nelson, I do not understand why you did not call the police to harvest your son-in-law Mr Andrew when he made those allegations against you, because doing that would have made it seem as if what he said was true," his business partner told him, his voice stern."I've already explained to you that he has mental issues. Taking him to the police will not do him any good , if he dies in the

“Why is Mr. Nelson calling his bodyguard even though Andrew has made such allegations against him? Does it mean that he does not want to clear the allegations against our support?” someone murmured in the crowd, their eyes darting between the two men.Mr. Nelson was done listening to them. He knew that everybody was now watching him, so he didn’t want to say anything else. His bodyguards stepped forward, to grab Andrew and take him out of there. But when they stepped close, Andrew raised up his hand, motioning for them to stop.“There’s no need to grab me. I can leave here by myself. Besides, I can always go and meet my father-in-law in his office. We can have a nice talk there.” He laughed dryly, his eyes never leaving Mr. Nelson’s face, then turned around to walk away. The bodyguards’ jaws tightened, they couldn’t just stand by and watch him walk away after he had made such accusations against their boss. One of them shoved Andrew in the back.“Walk fast and get out of here,” the bo

  • Chapter 5 : happy birthday father in law

It was the birthday of his ex-father-in-law, Mr. Nelson, and he knew that there would be a lot of people there so this was where he wanted to confront his ex-father-in-law. Even though he won’t say much about what happened, he just wanted to make it known that he was alive because they wanted to kill him."Sir, we have arrived," the driver told him as he came to a stop. The driver got out of the car, walked around, and opened the back door for Andrew. Andrew stepped out calmly, his face expressionless, and walked straight to the entrance. He showed them his invitation, and the bodyguard in front of the door looked at him suspiciously."You seem familiar. Do I know you?" the bodyguard asked Andrew, narrowing his eyes. Even though Andrew had changed quite a bit, gaining a lot of muscle from the training he did over the past four years, the guard’s voice hinted at a faint recognition."I don’t know if you hav

Please, have somebody attend to my injuries. I'm begging you, I don't want to die."The doctor’s voice cracked.Andrew rolled his eyes."You don't want to die, but you helped kill someone else. Don't you think that's being a hypocrite?”“If you are willing to kill someone, or be an accomplice, you should be ready to die anytime. Say what you have to say, and after giving me the information I need, then I'll send someone to come here and attend to you," Andrew told him.Because at the end of the day, the doctor was not the one who was his target, and the last thing Andrew wanted was to have blood on his hands.
