Still, Aria's feet momentarily carried her towards where he was standing. This was the first time she had ever seen his eye colour change.
Lucian noticed how terrified she was, so he took a few steps away from her. His eyes squeezed shut. He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly, trying to calm the turmoil bubbling inside him. When he opened his eyes again, they were still red.
"Don't come close, Aria," he warned. "I said don't come close to me, or you will regret it!" His voice was a bit louder this time. Yet Aria didn't listen to him. Instead, she took a few steps towards him.
"No!" Aria screamed, seeing that Lucian was just a few feet away from falling off the high mountain. He was standing with his back to the edge.
"If you keep coming closer, then I will happily fall from here, Aria," he told her sternly.
Aria clutched both sides of her dress tightly. He needed to stop this madness at all costs.
A loud growl echoed from afar, signalling to them that the forest was no longer safe. Everybody turned their gaze towards the direction of the sound.
"I think we should all leave this place," William, the most calculative one in the group, told them. He glanced at Aria, who was already shivering from the cold wind.
Aria turned and looked at him with an unbothered expression. "I will leave with Lucian," she told him. She then turned back towards Lucian, but he was no longer there.
"Did he disappear?" she asked herself, beginning to feel anxious. First, the colour of his eyes had changed, and now he had vanished without leaving a single trace. Another growl jolted Aria back to reality.
Without warning, Kael approached her, carried her like a princess and covered her eyes with his palm before leaping away from the forest.
"Did we just fly?" Aria asked Kael curiously. Slowly, he let go of her and placed her on her feet.
"I think you should get going. He will come to you when he's satiated," he told her, intentionally avoiding her question. Then he walked back into the forest, leaving Aria stranded.

"Your Highness, I'm sorry for the delay. Your wife just tends to mess things up so badly," Kael explained hurriedly to Lucian as they finally stopped moving. "What should we do next?" he asked again, since Lucian hadn't responded to his earlier statement.
Slowly, Lucian lifted his head to look at them. His eyes looked much darker than they had when he emerged from the lake. Their colour was now a dimmed crimson red. His men slowly took a few steps away from him.
They all knew what their prince, Lucian, wanted right now, but how could they go about it?
"Kael, what will happen now?" William asked, looking at their prince with a worried expression. "I think he's not himself anymore."
"Looks like it's been a long time since he drank blood. We should get him some," Kael told the four men, who were staring at him as though he didn't know what he was saying.
"How do you expect us to get him blood when we're not in Aurelia?" Mac, the shaggy-haired vampire, asked warily.
"But we still need to get him blood; otherwise, he will go berserk. He could destroy any living thing around here, and you all know that he would suffer afterwards," Kael explained. "Let's get human blood from the nearest village. We should be able to find someone willing to donate blood if we pay them generously. It would be the best solution for now, though I doubt it would work."
"Have you forgotten, Kael, that when he reaches this stage, he needs to drink directly from someone's body? The best solution is for him to go to his wife for help," William explained, maintaining his usual poker face.
"Don't be ridiculous, William. His wife doesn't even know she married a vampire. I also heard that she's pregnant. She might die in the process if she even agrees," Vincent, the green-eyed vampire, hissed at William's ridiculous suggestion.
"Then what should we all do? He..." Kael couldn't complete his statement because of the strange sound he suddenly heard. He turned towards its source, and there stood their prince.
The atmosphere, which had been cool and silent moments ago, suddenly became heavy and chilly. A brown wolf stood with its forest-green eyes fixed on their prince.
The wolf seemed fearless as it approached the man seated on a round, smooth stone that was glowing.
Lucian's bloodlust-filled eyes pierced through the wolf. It growled so loudly that the sound irritated him to no end. He felt as though he had seen the wolf before, but that wasn't his concern right now.
However, he could no longer hold back his anger. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as each second passed. He was hungry, and if he wasn't satiated soon, the Goddess only knew what would happen next. Now, this creature was getting on his nerves.
"Damn! An earthquake!" Max yelled, quickly dropping to the ground. "The wolf is bleeding!"
They all looked frightened as the earth shook violently. Dust rose into the air, blinding the vampires. They coughed as they struggled to see through it. What they saw next only made them more terrified.
Their eyes widened when they noticed numerous trees falling. Lucian was standing some distance away from the wolf. They could clearly see his arm stretched out, with his fist positioned towards the spot where the trees had originally stood.
"Wait, did he just punch those trees?" The vampires exclaimed in unison. They were all stunned by his reaction towards the poor creature.
"William." Lucian called out, his back turned towards him. "William," he called again.
William hesitated. His usually expressionless face now showed a hint of fear. He closed his eyes before responding. "Your Highness."
William walked towards him, but he still kept a safe distance. Before William could even realise what was happening, Lucian caught him off guard.
Lucian teleported towards William, sank his fangs into his nape and began drinking his blood.
William didn't wince. He didn't want to defy his prince, so he remained still. However, after a while, when Lucian showed no sign of stopping, he was forced to speak. "That's enough! Do you want to suck me dry?"
After a while, Lucian finally removed his fangs from the man, who was now staggering. William's eyes had turned red.
"Damn, he I'm hungry," William whispered to himself before leaping away from the forest without warning.
Lucian's eyes were now a lighter shade of red. He still wasn't satisfied. He needed more blood to quench his thirst, so he turned his gaze towards the vampire standing in front of him.
"Oh no!" Kael roared, his eyes and voice filled with desperation. "Let go of me, Your Highness!" He struggled in Lucian's grip as the prince sank his fangs into his arm and began sucking his blood.
The vampires remained silent for a long while, seemingly caught off guard by Prince Lucian's vampiric ability to teleport. He was the fastest among all of them.
All of a sudden, Lucian released Kael and leapt away. Kael's eyes had now turned red, and he gazed at the remaining vampires with a hungry look.
"I think we should all leave," Max told them, and they all leapt away.

This will be my last time setting foot in this house," Lucian informed them, looking at each one of them with an emotionless face."Oh, that's nice. A decision I should have made a very long time ago," Lucian answered with a smirk.Mr Reign's face darkened. His eyes narrowed as he sensed the authority in Lucian's tone."Then what are you still doing her

Are you afraid that the guest might laugh at your disgusting and poor outfit?" Elle sneered.Lucian gritted his teeth in frustration. He had come to the conclusion that he now hated Elle to the core, but he was too tired to argue with her. Remaining silent, he endured her taunts.Elle observed his lack of response but still continued."Why are you suddenly playing dumb? You're the type who challenges others. What happened? Did a cat cut your tongue?" Elle questioned him mockingly. She looked at her daughter, then returned her gaze to Lucian."Why are you staring at Aria like that? I can sm

Never in his wildest dreams had he anticipated that she would be easily fooled by her family into divorcing him."Lucian, I... I..." Aria swallowed hard. She wasn't able to explain to him why she had taken such a drastic step because she feared he wouldn't be able to accept it. Nevertheless, she needed to let him know why she had signed the papers."Actually, Lucian..." Her voice was low as she began explaining to him that her dad had made a promise. "Dad has secured our child's future. He said that if I don't divorce you, he won't assist us. He has secured our child's future.""Are you listening to yourself, Aria? Who told you that I can't take care of our child? Have you also been seeing me as a poor, useless guy?""No, Lucian. You're getting it all wrong.
