Quide’s words had barely left his mouth when Sebastian’s expression changed.
"The Rose Corporation is being attacked?"
Quide's smile widened, mistaking the question for concern. "That's right. Your precious fiancée is watching her company burn as we speak. And by the time we're done with you—"
Sebastian stopped paying attention to Quide the moment he heard that Amelia’s company was being attacked. A faint crease appeared between his brows, and the indifferent calm in his eyes turned extremely cold.
He had no love for Amelia, at least not yet, but she was still his fiancée. She was the woman his father had chosen for him, so she was under his protection, whether she knew it or not.
“Boys, finish him!” Quide ordered coldly as he cracked his neck, the scar on his face twisting. “Break his legs slowly. I want to hear him scream.”
The thirty men leaped forward at once. They moved with practiced coordination, surrounding him from every direction.
The first man swung a steel pipe at Sebastian’s head in a wild, powerful arc meant to crack his skull. However, Sebastian didn’t dodge. Instead, he closed the distance before the pipe could reach him and slammed his palm into the man’s elbow.
The joint bent backward, and before the man could scream, Sebastian drove his fist into his throat. He crumbled, choking as his pipe fell to the floor.
Two more gangsters instantly attacked from the sides—one with a knife and the other with brass knuckles. Sebastian caught the knifeman’s wrist, twisted it and used the man’s own blade to slash his attacker’s forearm.
He cut his tendon deeply, and the man stumbled back, staring at his own useless hand with wide, unbelieving eyes. Sebastian then grabbed the knifeman and threw him effortlessly. His wrist was bent at an unnatural angle as his entire body was flung sideways, crashing into two others behind him.
Everything happened too fast, and before the rest of them could process what they had just seen, Sebastian moved.
Quide’s smile had vanished, and his heart rate had involuntarily gone up.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! ALL OF YOU CHARGE AT HIM—NOW!"
The gangsters shook off their fear with loud screams and rushed at him together, and Sebastian met them head on.
A man charged first, swinging a wooden bat wrapped in rusted wire straight at Sebastian’s ribs. Sebastian caught it mid-swing, and the attacker’s expression changed instantly.
Before he could react, Sebastian ripped the bat from his grip and reversed it in a single fluid motion. The wired end smashed into the man’s kneecap with a sickening crack. His bone burst sideways through his flesh and fabric, and the man collapsed screaming into the snow.
Another rushed in from behind, but Sebastian stepped forward and drove his palm into the man’s chest. The impact sounded like a hammer striking rotten wood, and the man’s ribs caved inward as his body flew backward into three others, sending all of them crashing violently across the street.
A blade flashed toward Sebastian’s throat from his blind spot, but he tilted his head slightly, and the knife missed him by less than an inch.
Then his hand shot out, grabbed the attacker by the jaw and twisted sharply. A horrifying crack echoed through the alley, and the man’s body went limp instantly.
At that point, panic finally started to spread through the group, and the rate at which they charged forward significantly slowed.
“What the hell is this monster?!”
“He’s killing us!”
“Run for your lives!”
Several men tried to retreat, but Sebastian was already moving. His movements were precise, controlled, and utterly ruthless. There were no wasted motions and exaggerated techniques. His movements were very simple and efficient, but very brutal.
Their knees shattered from a single kick, and his elbows crushed their throats. One man raised a metal pipe only for Sebastian to break his arm in three places before slamming him headfirst into the asphalt hard enough to crack the ground beneath him.
Blood splattered across the snow, and desperate screams filled the alley. The gangsters who had swaggered forward with vicious grins moments ago were now crawling desperately across the freezing ground, dragging broken limbs behind them as terror consumed their faces.
Sebastian walked through them without the slightest change in expression, cold and unfeeling, like a machine built solely for war.
Every step he took carried the experience of a man who had spent years drowning in blood and death, a man who had survived battlefields where a single moment of hesitation meant death.
In front of him, these gangsters were nothing.
In less than a minute, the alley looked like a massacre site. Numerous bodies were scattered everywhere, with some piled against walls, some collapsed in pools of blood, and some twitching weakly in agony.
Not a single man remained standing.
Sebastian straightened his clothes slowly. Blood stained his clothes, but none of it belonged to him.
His breathing remained calm and steady, as though crushing thirty armed men was no different from taking a walk through the snow.
The falling snowflakes drifted quietly around him, melting red where they touched the ground.
At the edge of the alley, Quide stood frozen stiff. The color had drained completely from his scarred face, and his entire body trembled uncontrollably—an involuntary, uncontrollable shaking that he couldn't stop no matter how hard he tried—as he stared at the scene before him.
Quide had spent years in the underworld. He had seen torture, murder, and executions. He had even climbed to his current position through brutality and built his reputation on violence!
However, this was something else entirely. This wasn’t a fight. It was a slaughter!
Without even realizing it, Quide staggered backward step after step until his back slammed against a brick wall.
Sebastian turned to face him. His eyes were cold and empty. They were the eyes of a man who had killed so many times that death had stopped meaning anything.
And for the first time in years, Quide felt genuine fear.

The words hung heavily in the air, and for a brief moment, the entire pharmacy went silent. They both stared at Sebastian with shock, then the pharmacist snapped.“What nonsense!” the pharmacist snarled, his face flushing red with anger. “Do you have any idea what you’re saying?!”His voice rose sharply, breaking the tense silence as he glared at Sebastian with unbridled hostility“Who do you think you are? How dare you interrupt a consultation and spout such baseless claims?”“My claims are not baseless.” Sebastian replied coolly, but his indifference only made the pharmacist more furious.“You ignorant fool!” he barked angrily. “Do you even understand the least thing about medicine? Or are you just talking to hear your own voice?”Evelyn remained silent, but her expression had grown colder. Her sharp eyes rested on Sebastian, studying him carefully. There was no arrogance or attempt to show off in his attitude, only certainty.“On what basis are you making that claim?” Evelyn finall
Chapter 11
The morning light filtered through the panoramic windows of the Rose Corporation headquarters, casting a soft glow across Amelia’s spacious office, with a view of the bustling city stretching endlessly beneath her.Amelia stood by the window with her arms folded, a cold and distant expression on her face. Behind her, Lisa sat comfortably on a plush sofa, a steaming hot cup of coffee in her hand as she spoke with a confident and dismissive tone.“I’m telling you, Amelia, you’re overthinking it,” Lisa said, waving her hand dismissively. “Sebastian? He’s just an ordinary soldier. There’s absolutely no way someone like him owns a card like that.”Amelia didn’t respond immediately. Instead, she furrowed her brows as she replayed the events of the previous night in her mind—the appearance of the Heavenly Dragon Card, Victoria Sterling’s sudden appearance, and the way everything had turned upside down so quickly.Something didn’t add up, but she couldn’t name what.Lisa leaned forward, her v

After all, a single word from her could decide the rise or fall of a company.Amelia’s brows furrowed slightly as she watched the reactions around her. She didn’t recognize Victoria immediately, but from the crowd’s response alone, she could tell this woman’s status was terrifyingly high.Lisa’s expression had also changed.
