Thirty men.
Thirty armed men had been crushed thoroughly in less than a minute. They couldn’t even put up the slightest resistance, and the man responsible for all of it stood calmly in the middle of the alley with a cold expression on his face.
Sebastian slowly lifted his gaze and stared at Quide, and that single glance nearly made Quide, the head of a notorious gang, pee his pants.
As Sebastian took a step forward, Quide staggered back, only to find his back still against the wall. His earlier arrogance had completely vanished, and the only emotion he was feeling was fear and regret.
“H-how…” Quide’s voice shook violently, as though he was being suffocated. “What the hell are you…?”
Sebastian didn’t answer. He simply walked toward him. Each footstep he took sounded slow and steady against the frozen ground, but to Quide, it felt like the approach of death itself.
“D-don’t come any closer!” Quide shouted instinctively as he pulled out a Glock 19 with trembling hands. “I’ll shoot!”
The moment the black gun appeared, the atmosphere in the alley changed slightly. However, Sebastian’s expression remained indifferent and continued walking closer.
“I’ll fucking shoot!” Quide yelled and cocked the gun, but Sebastian paid him no heed.
Quide’s fear instantly turned into viciousness, and he pulled the trigger without any hesitation.
“Go to hell!”
Bang!
The gunshot echoed loudly through the alley, but Sebastian had already moved. Quide only saw a blur before a terrifying pain exploded from his wrist.
Crack!
“AARGHHH!”
The handgun flew into the snow as Quide screamed miserably. His wrist had bent completely backward at a horrifying angle.
Before he could recover, Sebastian grabbed him by the throat and slammed him against the wall, hard enough to crack the concrete behind him.
Quide saw stars as he lost and regained consciousness, his feet dangling helplessly above the ground.
“You said my fiancee’s company, the Rose Corporation, is being attacked.” Sebastian’s voice was calm and emotionless, but the coldness in his voice made Quide shiver uncontrollably. “Who gave the order?”
Quide’s face had turned red from Sebastian’s vice-like grip, and he tapped on Sebastian’s arms to plead for mercy so he could breathe.
Sebastian frowned, but since he needed answers, he relaxed his grip a bit.
Quide took a lungful of air and coughed seriously before answering, extremely terrified by the demon in front of him.
“I-it was Young Master Cameron!” he cried out hurriedly. “He paid us to cripple you and teach you a brutal lesson. As for Miss Lockwood, he’s solely in charge of attacking her company. I only heard about it from my sources! I had nothing to do with it, I swear!”
Sebastian’s eyes narrowed slightly, and a cold glint flashed through them.
‘As expected, it was that bastard’s doing.’
“Please spare me! I’ll pay you anything you want…” Quide begged as Sebastian’s grip tightened on his throat. He could give a rat’s ass about his pride at this moment. He just wanted to escape this demon!
Sebastian glanced at him and sneered. Before he could answer, however, sirens suddenly pierced through the silence. Seconds later, police vehicles screeched to a halt at the entrance of their street, their flashing lights illuminating the area brightly.
The doors burst open immediately, and more than ten armed officers quickly rushed out.
Quide’s eyes lit up instantly, and he burst into laughter despite the pain he was in.
“Hahaha! You’re finished now!” he laughed, his fear disappearing almost immediately.
“Did you really think you could touch me so easily?” Quide sneered viciously despite being held by the throat. “Young Master Cameron has connections with the police chief himself!”
“You crippled so many people! You’re definitely dead meat!”
The surrounding gang members who were still conscious but in extreme pain also became excited.
“That’s right!”
“Arrest that monster!”
“He attacked us first!”
Quide glared at Sebastian, his voice filled with vicious delight.
“You think you’re so strong, right? And so fucking what?!”
“The police are finally here!”
“You’re done! No matter how strong you are, what can you do against the law?!”
The officers quickly surrounded the alley, but when they saw the horrifying scene before them, many of their expressions changed.
Broken bodies littered the ground everywhere, blood had stained the snow crimson, and at the centre of it all stood Sebastian calmly holding Quide by the throat.
The atmosphere became strangely tense, and the police officers had no idea what to do next. At that moment, a middle-aged man in a black police coat stepped out from one of the vehicles. He was a tall man in his fifties, with a gray beard and a square face. His uniform was immaculate, and his posture was rigid.
The moment Quide saw him, the expression on his face turned ecstatic, as the middle-aged man was none other than Lawson Bell, the chief of police in Cloud City!
“Chief Lawson!” Quide shouted loudly. “Save me! This lunatic attacked us!”
Chief Lawson’s eyes swept across the alley. He took one look at the groaning gangsters and their matching black shark tattoos, and his expression darkened. Then his sweeping gaze landed on Sebastian. The next second, his pupils contracted violently, his heart nearly stopped beating, and a chill crept up his spine.
“All of you, stand down!” Lawson ordered firmly.
“C-Chief…” one of the officers called out cautiously; however, Lawson ignored him completely.
Under Quide’s stunned gaze, the police chief suddenly straightened his posture and bowed as respectfully as possible.
“Mr. Helios.”
The entire alley instantly fell silent. Quide’s expression froze, the gang members were dumbfounded, and even the officers behind Lawson looked shocked.
“What the hell…?” someone muttered.
“That’s… that’s the Chief…”
“Why is he…?”
Their minds couldn’t process what they were seeing.
“T-this… this isn’t right…” Quide’s lips trembled, and his mind went blank from disbelief.
Sebastian released Quide casually, causing the man to collapse onto the ground miserably.
“Do you know me?” Sebastian asked calmly, his dark gaze pinning Lawson to the spot.
Cold sweat instantly formed on Lawson’s forehead, and his knees suddenly felt like mush.
‘Did he know him?’
‘Of course he did!’
The previous night, Isaac Rutherford himself had personally contacted him and sent Sebastian’s file over, or rather, a portion of it. Even with Isaac’s authority, much of Sebastian’s background still remained sealed under the highest level of clearance.
However, even the tiny portion Lawson had seen was enough to terrify him.
A military figure whose records were classified at the highest level was absolutely not someone he could offend!
“Yes, Mr. Helios,” Lawson replied as respectfully as possible. “I was informed about your arrival beforehand.”
Quide’s face turned deathly pale, and his mind buzzed violently.
Informed beforehand? The police chief himself? What kind of identity did this man possess?!
“You…you…” Quide stared at Sebastian in horror.
Lawson suddenly turned toward Quide and glared at him with a cold expression.
“You’ve got some nerve,” he sneered. “You must think you own Cloud City and you no longer have to pay any regard to the law.”
Quide’s body trembled violently. “Chief Lawson, I—”
“Shut up! Not another word!” Lawson barked furiously.
“You people actually dared to attack Mr. Helios? Even your entire gang combined wouldn’t be enough to pay for the consequences!”
The surrounding gangsters felt their scalps go numb, and even Quide’s soul nearly left his body.
Lawson shook his head at their audacity and waved his hand coldly. “Arrest all of them!”
“Yes, Chief!”
The officers immediately moved, and screams quickly echoed through the alley as the gang members were dragged up one after another despite their injuries.
Quide panicked at this sight, and he started clutching at straws.
“Chief Lawson! Young Master Cameron knows you! We were simply acting under his orders!”
Lawson’s face darkened instantly, and his gaze turned icy.
“You dare drag me into this nonsense?”
“Listen up and listen well! From today onwards, if anyone from your gang appears in my district again, I’ll make sure to bury all of you personally!”
Quide’s face lost all colour, and he fell to the floor in horror. It was at that moment that he finally understood what kind of problem he had gotten himself into.
Meanwhile, Sebastian had already lost interest in them. He pulled out his phone calmly and dialled a number. The moment the call connected, Victoria’s respectful voice sounded immediately.
“Mr. Helios.”
Sebastian’s dark eyes reflected the blood-stained snow under his feet, and the temperature in the alley became more unbearable as a murderous aura spread from his body.
Then under Lawson’s terrified gaze, Sebastian finally spoke.

Quide’s words had barely left his mouth when Sebastian’s expression changed."The Rose Corporation is being attacked?"Quide's smile widened, mistaking the question for concern. "That's right. Your precious fiancée is watching her company burn as we speak. A faint crease appeared between his brows, and the indifferent calm in his eyes turned extremely cold.He had no love for Amelia, at least not yet, but she was still his fiancée. She was the woman his father had chosen for him, so she was under his protection, whether she knew it or not.“Boys, finish him!” Quide ordered coldly as he cracked his neck, the scar on his face twisting. “Break his legs slowly. I want to hear him scream.”The thirty men leaped forward at once. They moved with practiced coordination, surrounding him from every direction. The first man swung a steel pipe at Sebastia

The words hung heavily in the air, and for a brief moment, the entire pharmacy went silent. They both stared at Sebastian with shock, then the pharmacist snapped.“What nonsense!” the pharmacist snarled, his face flushing red with anger. “Do you have any idea what you’re saying?!”His voice rose sharply, breaking the tense silence as he glared at Sebastian with unbridled hostility“Who do you think you are? How dare you interrupt a consultation and spout such baseless claims?”“My claims are not baseless.” Sebastian replied coolly, but his indifference only made the pharmacist more furious.“You ignorant fool!” he barked angrily. “Do you even understand the least thing about medicine? Or are you just talking to hear your own voice?”Evelyn remained silent, but her expression had grown colder. Her sharp eyes rested on Sebastian, studying him carefully. There was no arrogance or attempt to show off in his attitude, only certainty.“On what basis are you making that claim?” Evelyn finall

The morning light filtered through the panoramic windows of the Rose Corporation headquarters, casting a soft glow across Amelia’s spacious office, with a view of the bustling city stretching endlessly beneath her.Amelia stood by the window with her arms folded, a cold and distant expression on her face. Behind her, Lisa sat comfortably on a plush sofa, a steaming hot cup of coffee in her hand as she spoke with a confident and dismissive tone.“I’m telling you, Amelia, you’re overthinking it,” Lisa said, waving her hand dismissively. “Sebastian? He’s just an ordinary soldier. There’s absolutely no way someone like him owns a card like that.”Amelia didn’t respond immediately. Instead, she furrowed her brows as she replayed the events of the previous night in her mind—the appearance of the Heavenly Dragon Card, Victoria Sterling’s sudden appearance, and the way everything had turned upside down so quickly.Something didn’t add up, but she couldn’t name what.Lisa leaned forward, her v
