12. Let's Level Up

Ryan understood Teagan's meaning, but it was impossible to predict the future based on the beginning alone. Therefore, he did not agree to Teagan's request to switch careers and become a professional gamer. If he could continue to earn a large sum of money in the near future, then he would have to make the switch without hesitation.

At this moment, Ember Dragon, Ember Fox, and Ember Tiger returned, and they even formed a party with a female warrior wielding a battle shield, but they couldn't find a priest. The female warrior was level 18, her game name was Bloodshot, and she was fully equipped with green gear, all level 15. Although it was quite average, she seemed to have some skill.

Most importantly, Bloodshot's dance was quite captivating. She has a graceful figure, a full and proud bust, long and beautiful legs, fair and delicate skin, and long, jet-black hair that falls over her shoulders.

It goes without saying that Bloodshot is a guardian-style warrior. The biggest feature of this class was that it could equip a battle shield, making its defense slightly better than that of a berserker-style warrior. It is a typical tanking class.

In addition, Guardian Warriors and Berserker Warriors differ significantly in their skills. Berserker Warriors learn high-output, high-damage skills. Guardian Warriors, on the other hand, mostly learn guardian skills, and even if they have offensive skills, their damage was generally average.

Ember Dragon walked over and said with a smile, "These days, priests are in high demand. I tried to find one for ages but couldn't, so I just formed a Guardian Warrior team instead."

"Hello, my name is Bloodshot." Bloodshot was quite cheerful and introduced herself first, appearing neither arrogant nor humble.

Ryan and Teagan both nodded and smiled at Bloodshot without saying anything. After all, the Guardian Warrior had an extremely strong ability to tank monsters, and having such a class would greatly improve the team's survivability.

Ember Dragon then pulled Ryan and Teagan into the group and said, "I want to make it clear beforehand that the place we are going to is quite dangerous, so everyone must cooperate tacitly and follow my orders completely."

“No problem,” Ryan said first, full of confidence.

"Sure, we'll do whatever you say," Teagan replied.

The rest of the people obeyed his orders, so Ember Dragon led his team to leave the town and head east. After about thirty minutes, they arrived at the entrance of a valley.

The valley entrance was very narrow, barely wide enough for two people to pass side by side. Sheer cliffs surrounded the valley, but the space inside stretched out endlessly. However, the scenery within was terrifying: countless large, green insects, a vast, unbroken expanse of green stretching as far as the eye could see. 

These insects were over ten feet long, the same thickness from head to tail, without legs or claws; if they lay flat on the ground, it was impossible to distinguish their head from their tail. 

Moreover, their features were tightly packed together, except for their exceptionally large mouths, filled with sharp, steel-like teeth—a truly frightening sight.

This place was very remote and hasn't been discovered by the second wave of players yet. Reaching the vicinity, Ryan checked the insect's attributes and felt a growing sense of unease.

Undeniably, level 20 monsters were ferocious. With fewer players, it was impossible to defeat them. Most importantly, these insect-like monsters look disgusting.

Ember Dragon said, "Now I will arrange the strategic plan. Two warriors will block the valley entrance. They don't need to hold aggro, but they must lure as many monsters as possible. Warlocks will place poison arrays in the middle to weaken the monsters' attributes. The three of us mages will use fire walls to burn the monsters over a wide area, just like last night."

Ryan and Teagan exchanged a glance, secretly admiring the Dragon City Emperor's mind. No other player would risk teaming up to fight such ferocious bugs; the chances of a wipe were too high.

“Alright, let’s go then.” With that, Ryan glanced at Bloodshot beside him and said softly, “Let’s go.”

"Hmm." Bloodshot was also secretly surprised, but remained very calm on the surface.

The two walked side by side toward the valley entrance, and Teagan shouted from behind, "Ryan, be careful!"

"Yea, im fine." Ryan said without turning around.

A moment later, Ryan and Bloodshot arrived at the valley entrance and stood side by side. Ryan activated his Berserker Sword Technique and Berserk Power, while Bloodshot cast a Life Limit buff, increasing her own health by 10%, and a Defensive Barrier, increasing her defense by 10%.

" Teagan, let's begin." Ryan looked ahead and said loudly to Teagan behind him.

"Okay, just be careful!" Teagan took a few steps forward, estimating the distance was about right, and with a flick of his scepter, cast a plague poison array on a swarm of insects not far away in the valley.
