The Legend

Within the ball of placenta, an infant could be seen curled up in a ball, his eyes were tightly closed. With each breath, visible streams of white energy seeped from his skin. The subtle fluctuations caused ripples to spread through the surrounding blood energy.

Connecting to the fleshy mass, crimson veins, resembling coiled dragons and spiderwebs, radiated unparalleled power. The massive veins running through the fleshy mass made it resemble a placenta within a mother's womb.

The embryo hovered in the air above the gently flowing pool of blood, its dark red streams of energy constantly expanding and contracting, seemingly without end.

As the embryo contracted and swelled, dark red energy flowed out from the meridians, constantly gathering and condensing, finally transforming into streaks of silvery-white light that shot into the child's body.

After an unknown amount of time, the fleshy sphere suspended above the blood pool trembled, and then began to crack visibly, the cracks spreading like a spider web, growing larger and larger. At the same time, a terrifying dark red current suddenly surged up above the blood pool, slowly flowing through it.

The surface of the embryo was as if covered by a thick layer of iron armor. Then, the dark red airflow enveloped the fleshy ball, creating a huge vortex with a violent suction force. The blood pool below was suddenly drawn in, turning into beams of blood-red light that surged into it.

The powerful suction force seemed to suck out the surrounding air, filling the air with a crimson hue. The narrow cave, centered on the fleshy ball, suddenly surged and churned, with blood energy spreading out like ripples. A vast life force was being nurtured within it in a strange way.

The blood-red veins, resembling coiled dragons, twitched violently, and then snapped sharply in sight, spraying out dark red mist that instantly filled the cave, reducing visibility to its lowest point.

However, at that moment, the embryo began to slowly rotate, then faster and faster, until it could no longer be seen. The dark red air currents that filled the cave grew thinner and thinner until they were almost imperceptible.

The embryo shuddered violently, pulling at the coiled dragon-like veins as it slammed heavily to the ground, causing the ground to tremble. Whether it was the impact from the ground or the original cracks in the embryo, under this powerful force, blood-red fragments flew everywhere, turning into sharp pieces that shot fiercely towards the cave wall.

Soon after, the embryo shattered, and a baby immediately emerged, its eyes gazing at this unfamiliar world with an incredibly clear expression. Itds rosy cheeks and deep, dark eyes gave it an ethereal quality. 

 

As the color faded, the baby's eyes darted around, but unlike most babies, it didn't cry or fuss; it remained remarkably quiet. Its tiny hands stretched out haphazardly, sometimes clenching into fists, sometimes relaxing. In the baby's arms lay a piece of ancient jade that had a dragon's head and a unicorn's body carved on it, appearing exquisite and translucent.

The ancient jade initially appeared unremarkable, resembling an ordinary piece of jade. However, upon closer inspection, it became apparent that the jade seemed to emanate a faint, hazy white light, protecting the infant within. The constantly flowing patterns within the jade further highlighted its extraordinary nature.

The exquisitely carved baby was incredibly cute. The white light emanating from the ancient jade protected the baby firmly. Although it was very weak, it effectively blocked the fragments that were constantly shooting towards it from the outside.

Just then, the cave suddenly trembled, and an unusual noise broke the silence of the place. The baby's eyes darted around, completely unaware of what was happening, and it continued to wiggle its little fists slightly.

With a banging sound, a burst of energy spread out from the cave entrance, the terrifying fluctuations causing the dark red vortex to tremble violently. The dark red energy wave, carrying a terrifying momentum, surged towards the infant. 

 

Just then, the ancient jade suddenly emitted a burst of light, the hazy white beams suddenly emitting a dazzling white light, blocking the terrifying momentum outside. Streaks of sword energy shot into the cave entrance, and the clanging sound made the narrow cave seem unusually chaotic. A white halo appeared on the ancient jade, firmly protecting the baby underneath.

After a long while, the light of the ancient jade finally dimmed, and the terrifying fluctuations outside finally ceased. 

 

At this time, a middle-aged man appeared at the cave entrance, looking extremely disheveled, with tattered clothes barely covering a few vital parts of his body.

Scanning the narrow cave, the man dragged his weary body inside without making a sound. Leaning on his broken sword, he sat cross-legged in a spot, and a faint white mist immediately spread out. 

 

"Huh?" The man exclaimed when he heard a light giggling voice. He stood up abruptly, gripping his broken sword tightly, extremely vigilant. However, when he saw that it was an infant, he visibly relaxed and sat down but was shocked nonetheless. "A baby?"

Just as he was about to get up, his expression suddenly changed, and all the muscles in his body tensed up instantly when he heard some voices coming from the entrance to the cave.

"Hey? You mean he's really here?"

 

"Yes, I saw him going in." 

 

"I can't sense his presence at all."

The middle-aged lay prone, his hawk-like eyes fixed on the two figures outside the cave. As the two figures drew closer, the coldness in his eyes grew stronger. The broken sword in his hand trembled. An extremely sharp sword intent immediately emanated from it. Before the two could react, a cold light flashed from the blade, and the two figures were instantly decapitated.

The young man groaned, forcibly circulating his internal energy, causing his blood and qi to surge. He coughed violently, then sat cross-legged on the ground and sighed heavily. Then his gaze fell on the baby, and he gave a bitter smile as his eyes were filled with immense surprise. "Could it be?"

The young man's gaze was fixed on the ancient jade on the baby's chest. His hand, gripping the broken sword, trembled slightly, his vision blurred, and he almost cried out. He stroked the ancient jade on the baby's chest, and the warm, smooth touch instantly brought tears to his eyes.

After a long while, the man's expression changed as he vaguely sensed several exceptionally powerful auras approaching from afar at an extraordinary speed. His heart tightened, and he stretched out his hand, picked up the baby, and transformed into a streak of light, rushing away into the distance.
