Chapter 28: Confiscation

"Chance doesn't come twice; today, it's hands and fingers; tomorrow, it's neck and your heart, I might ask for," Killian said expressionlessly.

"Thank you, young master. We pledge our submission and loyalty to you at the cost of our lives," they replied.

"Good. I accept your pledge. Now you may leave," Killian responded coldly.

"Thank you, young master," they said in unison as they pressed their foreheads to the floor.

Five minutes later, they resolved the whole mess. There were no more blood stains, broken table legs, and food spilt on the floor; everything had been cleaned up by Killian's men, assisted by Benjamin's men, who were still physically strong.
