It took just thirty minutes before August arrived at the hospital. However, he noticed a certain number had been trying to reach him all this time. Since his phone had been destroyed earlier, he found this one randomly on the floor and inserted his SIM card into it.

His contact was yet to sync, so any new number that would call would appear with no name. As for David, he knew his number already, so it wasn’t a big deal to get to him.

“Hello,” August picked up the phone before the last ring.

“Boss, I have been trying to get to you for a long time.” It was Ayden. His nervous voice came from the other side of the phone, and given how familiar it sounded, it didn’t take long before August knew it was him.

A frown settled on his face, and he asked. “What’s wrong?” He could already sense there was trouble.

Could he get a break at all? It was always one problem after another. He was yet to see Shadow's situation whether there would be a hope of recovery or not.
