It was August. Michael had thought he was no more or perhaps nothing but minced flesh, but he was mistaken. The man was still unscathed, which meant he wasn’t in the range of the attacks just now. Who could have thought that he had torn a fabric in space, walked out of it, and had now returned just when Michael expended his energy and was down to his knees. It was such good timing indeed. Michael was still frozen in shock as he stared at him. It was just too much for him to process. The whole place was now wrecked with so many potholes, debris scattered around, and the trees that were standing tall and strong were nothing but a pile of chunk pieces on the floor. Not just that, the remnants of flesh, skull, and skeletons, were reduced to almost nothing. The feeling of death, how eerie the place was before the mist dissolved, was even worse. Meanwhile in Elyria. Michael had just yelled out instinctively as he walked further just to scare August off and buy some time before he arrived at where he felt he might be. It was quite hard to use flash steps to rush over, as the palace had a strong presence of energy, and also, it was rather very tricky too.There was no response. He shouted a couple of times, yet there was nothing. His heart immediately sank. He was beginning to have an ominous premonition, so immediately he increased his pace, heading towards the middle. However, just then, something shocking happened. The mist that was so dense in the area suddenly began to turn lighter and lighter to the point that they were no longer visible. The path ahead could be seen clearly now. There might be a few awful things on the floor, but that didn’t matter. What Michael was concerned about was August.He immediately took off running towards the chasm he saw up ahead. By the time he got there, there was no sign of mist anymor
