“Finally.”

Kelvin froze.

For several seconds, he couldn't move.

He knew that voice.

It was his own.

Jacob stared at the opening with confusion written all over his face.

“What was that?”

Kelvin didn't answer.

Gale tightened his grip around his wooden staff.

Marcus stood several feet away, watching the door with a strange expression on his face.

The darkness behind the door seemed to be moving.

Kelvin took a careful step backward.

“Who is in there?”

No answer came.

Then the voice spoke again.
