• Sisterly Reconciliation

Renee gave Valerie a free chair to sit in so she could get her makeup done.

"I don't understand, Renee." Valerie said.

"Uhh, what don't you understand?" Renee asked, with a wide grin on her face.

"I don't know...I mean, you are being so nice to me...it's good though, but it is kinda weird, don't you think so?" Valerie stuttered and Renee laughed.

"We are adults sis, and I listened to what you said to me yesterday and I believe you are right. You know, unlike you, I always listen to dad, you know, I follow his rules, I try to impress him, and right now, I actually believe you are very very right. And now, looking back, I now see that I am not fulfilled, I am not satisfied with how my life is going, but then, I have gone too far. I only hope I stop living by father's rules." Renee said. Valerie could see traces of sadness in Renee's eyes. She leaned forward and took her hand in hers.
