• The Engagement Party

Ethan went into the building to access it and to make sure everything was going well. Just as he was coming down the stairs, he got a call from someone. It was Valerie.

"Hey," he said, trying to sound like he was in a good mood.

"Hey, Ethan. Where are you?" Valerie asked, over the phone. Ethan then remembered she had gone to her family's house.

"I don't know, I'm out... somewhere." He responded.

"Somewhere?" Valerie questioned.

"Yes, somewhere." Ethan added.

"Uhh.... doesn't that 'somewhere' have a name?" Valerie questioned.

"Why are you interrogating me? I went somewhere, okay? You left for your family's house and I didn't say anything about it, you really don't have to say anything about my own movements." Ethan responded and Valerie scoffed.

"Really dude? I am at your house, and that is why I called to know where you are. Stop acting so petty." Valerie said and hung up the call.
