• State of Things

Renee stayed in her room, not wanting to look suspicious after what she had done. She hoped Jason had received what she sent to him and everything was going according to plan.

After a few minutes of staying in her bedroom, she decided to step out a bit to join the event and also to access the state of things.

When she descended the stairs, some of the guests surrounded her.

"Oh my goodness, Renee. I love your dress. Why have you been hiding it?" Someone asked.
