Strangely, I was having a good time in this mystery unknown world. But little did I know it was going to change and I would be exposed to different things. But that was going to work out in both negative and positive ways for me.

I was in the dinning room enjoying a pleasant sumptuous meal without Ra. Yeah, not that he eats often but at least he makes an effort for me. This days I was getting kind of fond over him, it was like we had been long time friends. Strange though, back to my present I was busy sucking on a succulent grapefruit before chewing when a bright flash went off right in front of me. Now who the heck was it again? I knew it wasn't Ra because the aura I was getting from this unknown person was kinda of ... cool. 

The flash cleared to reveal a .... man with a very astounding complexion, pale skin and icy blue eyes. He was tall but not as Ra, he was slightly muscular and his build was slightly similar to that of a professional swimmer. And the weirdest thing was that his hair was He narrowed his eyes when he saw me.

Human. He said without actually speaking. Now he was doing that weird thing that Ra and Menthu seemed to do. He cocked his head to the side. I was flung to the side by an unknown force and pinned against the wall with my legs far from the ground. I felt an icy sensation at my throat, it felt like an icy hand was holding me up. 

I didn't need to know who was responsible for this. It was clearly the intruder, but he didn't even move his hands. His eyes were narrowed in menace. Icy tingles ran down my spine and I was sure that goosebumps were spread all over my skin.

"What are you doing here abominable human?" He sneered as if he had lessened a little bit and I gasped in air like a fish out of water.

"I would not ask you the question again human." 

"I was brought here." The icy grip tightened harder again and before I could blink he was already right there in my face. How did he move that fast? He sneered angrily at me. Liar! All humans always liars.

"Liar! Who would bring a despicable human to the land of the gods?." I don't know? It wasn't like I came here on my own.

"What did you just say?" I repeated my thoughts again.

"Impossible". His eyes bulged in shock. I decided to use that opportunity to try escape from the tight grip. But he caught on fast enough and tightened it to the point that even tiny wisps of air couldn't pass through my throat anymore. Gosh, right now I was already panicking. I don't want to die like this. I knew my eyes had to be red by now. I was already losing conscious when I heard Ra's deep voice bellow out

"Khonsu!" The icy grip on my neck suddenly loosened as I fell to the ground. I coughed uncontrollably hard as I laid down on the floor. Shit! My throat was raw and sore. From my hind sight, I saw Menhit crouching in front of me.

"Are you okay?" She helped me settle in a seated position by resting my back against the wall. She turned my head from side to side.

"Shit! This is going to leave a

nasty bruise behind." I swallowed hard and damn did it hurt. That left a grimace on my face which was going to be a temporary thing cause of my throat.

"Don't do that, it will only worsen it. I just hope that Ra does not kill Khonsu for this." That drew my attention to the other side of the room. 

Ra was caging Khonsu against the wall with his elbow digging into his neck. Both of their faces were riveted with different levels of rage.

"What do you think you're doing Khonsu?"

"What I should do to any despicable human?" He looked at me.

"Geez! Khonsu what has come over you?" Ra looked ready as if to shake some sense into him.

"You are choosing a human over me brother?" Khonsu looked enraged at the thought of that. Ra sighed as if he was he was already drained of the argument. He let Khonsu free.

"It's not like that Kho, you've just harmed a human. It's against our ethics."

"Kho, you know Ra's right." Menthu chipped in as she stood up. 

"So this is how it's going to be like?" Khonsu said in annoyed voice. Nobody replied him. 

"Ok, I'll see myself out but just know that The Ennead will be hearing about this." He disappeared into the air.

"Told you that this was still going to come out even though I didn't say anything." Menthu said in an indifferent tone walking out of the room.
