Chapter 03

Ciara's Grandpa stood proud.

"Oh Ciara, never in my days would I think you would be so honorable, although since your decision is as such then Please Mr. Marcus, how about you both school together." Mr. Monavi said as he held onto both of their hands.

Marcus was honourable top tier Clan Assassin, but no one knew how feisty he could be, all Ciara's grandfather knew was that he had the skills and ability to protect his grandchild Ciara.

Although Ciara saw this oppositely, she felt like her rights were been trampled upon.

"But is there any reason why I should go to school with Ciara?" Marcus asked.

"Well Yes, if you do, you both can get to know each other more not just as adults getting married but even for you to protect her life from business rivals looking for anything they could use to touch my dearest daughter, please consider." Mr. Monavi pleaded.

"Alright, I would do it for my wife." Marcus said whilst Ciara looked at him rolling her eyes.

She could see how tall and handsome he looked, ten times more than the many pot belly people who came for her hand in marriage.

Ciara didn't want Marcus as her husband.

Although she was ready to test falling in love with Marcus since it was her grandpa's wish.

All through Ciara's life her grandfather had given her everything she wanted.

She lived a life of luxury and never knew how to pay her grandfather for doing so much good for her so she used the opportunity to ensure she made her grandfather happy at the moment.

"So you're trying to say I can't protect Ciara, is that what this is all about?" Ciara's father said confused as he walked even closer.

"I am also a black clan agent!" Her father defended as he walked towards Mr. Elion.

"I can protect my daughter Sir Monavi, she will not marry this loser." Ciara's father said with his eyes all red, boiling in anger.

"She is a smart extremely intelligent girl, she is meant to be the wife of a billionaire." Ciara's father said right in front of Mr. Monavi who instantly got furious after listening to his statements.

"How dare you talk about my grandchild like she's some property a mans money can buy!" Mr. Monavi fires back at a hurt Ciara's Dad.

"You call your rebelling clan, a black clan, hahahaha don't you deceive yourself young man, I made a promise not to you or even him, I made my oath this is master and his clan, get that stuck in!" Mr. Monavi said as he glared back at Ciara'e father breaking his heart at that instant.

Ciara's father immediately turns to Marcus, grabbing his suit and attempting to nod him.

Although Marcus who is super skilled dodges this attack and swerves him away, causing him to stand at a different angle, saddened.

"You and your clan will regret daring to take what you all don't deserve!" Ciara's father fires as he frees himself out of Ciara's mother's hold and leaves the parlour immediately.

"Here is the key to a future together in a brand new personal mansion, the driver will take you both to the villa where your home will be located as family indeed." Sir. Monavi hands Marcus a key as a man in black leads them out of the room as well.

"Thank you, thank you all." Marcus said as he turned back, bowing a greeting towards them.

As soon as they left the entire family turned to look at Sir. Elion who sat over his seat.

"Have a seat everyone." He orders.

"Of Course I knew that this would not go smoothly but I need to assure you all that it is because of my decisions that we have reached this great height together, so do not forget that I am older and still the leader of this family, in blood and in business." He states furiously.

"Now concerning my promise to the master of the black Clan... Understand that he saved my life and without that life I won't have been able to build this empire for us all." He added before his old butler poured him a whine.

"But father, getting our beautiful Ciara to marry such a loser seems to be a wrong decision for me because obviously she is meant to marry someone richer... She obviously has many rich friends interested in her and she needs to have a right of her marriage life." Ciara's uncle states.

"My dear.... Help me tell him." Ciara's mum added starring at her father inlaw who stayed still.

"Alright let me tell you all the implications of me not following my promise." Monavi said.

"Please go ahead father." Ciara's father adds entering the parlour, all Reddened.

"One of these implications is that I would have broken my Oath and promise of a lifetime to someone who saved my life and this would mean that if he gets angered and retaliates... It might be too deadly to comprehend, and the second complication is that Ciara , my dearest granddaughter, is still a senior student in highschool and this leaves her open to attacks, only Marcus can keep her safe." He added as he asked for more whine.

"What are you trying to imply?" One of Ciara's aunty asked her grandpa as well.

"I am only stating the obvious that no one can be trusted now, only Marcus has my trust because he is a product of my promise, do you all now understand me?" He asked.

"You have a point indeed." Ciara's father replies to his old father's wisdom.

But yet still, the family still didn't buy the idea of Ciara getting married to Marcus.

Hence Ciara and Marcus arrive at their Villa while she frowned feeling tied to him.

"Okay we really need to talk!" Ciara fires back over Marcus's flirty behavior.

"Sure." He winks at her as they both enter their new mansion with Ciara a bit upset but still madly crushing over Marcus's looks.

"How much do you need to leave?" she asked.

"Wait, what?" Marcus added, confused.

Ciara was ready to do anything to get rid of him... She didn't want to get married to him at all.

She had even better plans.

"State your price!" Ciara fires back at him.

"Fine then, I will just throw you out myself." Ciara harshly says as she grabbed onto Marcus.

"Ciara." He calls as she attempted to move with him but ended up slipping off the tiles.

Marcus grabs her, placing her over himself as he hit the ground with their both lips touching, creating a romantic twists between them.

Ciara was scared for a second but then the feeling of Marcus's lips made her fall in love with him as she was beginning to crave more of it.
