The Magician's Revenge

Chapter Ten

Mason stood there in the kitchen observing the weight of the cup he could feel that something had changed in him as he began to wonder if the super strength had begun to manifest in him.

"Couldn't sleep?" Tony asked after walking past the kitchen and saw Mason standing there with a glass of water.

"Ummm" Mason was confused as to what to reply.

"Me too buddy, it is gonna be a long night Mason, let's make the best out of it" Tony said.

"Sure...what do you have in mind?" Mason asked.

"At around 12, my neighbor's teenage son's come to my house to watch horror movies and it has been going on like that for days, they will be here anytime soon" Tony said.

"Alright, cool " Mason replied briefly.

Tony's neighbors' teenage sons named Andrea and Mike arrived at the house and were ready to watch the movie.

"What's good Andre, how are you doing Hun, hope your momma is cool with you guys watching horror movies with me by this time?" Tony asked.

"Yeah, she's cool with that," Mike replied.

The movie starred: A small town named middles grove. Nothing serious actually happens there, just petty thieves and noise complaints. 

It is known to be the quiet and safest place to live in with your family.

One fateful night ,a Man named Matt Matt son ,invited his family over for dinner.

They all sat on different chairs and a big round table was in their middle containing different kinds of food.

  

"Oh Naomi , i can't believe you've grown so big" Matt son mother said as she rubs Angelina's hair

"They must be feeding her so well,"Angelina's dad said with a smile.

They all ate and drank till they were full . and they all sat there discussing about stiffs that has been going on

"Um dad, I have to go use the restroom"Chuck said as he stood up and left.

They were all discussing and laughing away, until Matt Matt son heard someone call his name

Matt 

It called him in a deep horrifying voice and Matt stopped what he was doing and looked in the direction where he heard his name but didn't see anyone.

He thought maybe he didn't actually hear anything and it was just his mind playing tricks on him. He then continued with his chat and laugh.

But yet again he heard his name

Matt 

the deep terrifying voice called him again and this time he was sure he heard it clearly.

"Who's calling my name?"Matt said , and immediately he answered , his eyes became pitch black as he stood up and grabbed a knife from the table.

And went on and killed everyone in the room. 

After killing everyone ,the spirit finally left him and he saw the mess he had made. 

Police came to the area and arrested him. And news has it that he later died in jail, but no one was still able to explain his bizarre behavior.

Just what drove him to killing them. But one thing is for sure, the spirit that possessed him is still out there, and it's only a matter of time before it strikes again.THE END.

"This movie series is lame"Mason said as he switched off the television.

"I mean what could have possessed that man that made him act that way, the movie didn't show what happened after the spirit left...I wonder who wrote such a script" Mike said disgustingly as he looked at the rest of his mates face.

"This is such a buzz kill, don't let this movie ruin our night guys, Tony are you okay?" Andre asked as he noticed Tony was not saying anything.

"Um...am good, it's just that the movie sent shivers down my spine, that's all"Tony replied as she forced out a smile.

"Tony relax, it's just a movie... alright" Mason said as he tried to assure Tony safety.

"You know it's a big risk we took sneaking to your house at this hour of the night...what if we get caught" Andre said as he suddenly began to feel remorseful for his action.

"Relax dude, we came here to have fun, and besides no one will know we are here or we ever came here...we are all alone in this school of course except for the securities" Mike said with confidence.

"What?, u thought you said your mom was cool with you guys coming to chill with me!" Tiny voiced out in shock.

"Listen dude, does your father know You're here?" Tony asked as his eyes were fixated on Andre's own.

"Yes but I told him I was going for a night reading with you guys in school," Andre said.

"Relax Tony, you will be fine... don't be a buzzkill, cheer up and let's have fun tonight" Mason said as he tried to cheer Tony to lighten up his mood.

"This is gonna be a long night guys, who is in for a card game?" Mike asked as he glanced at all of them, waiting for their replies.

"Am in, it is a good game, besides I will whoop you guys butt" Tony said as she let out a cunning smile.

"Ohhhhh, someone is getting ahead of herself here ..am in guys, lets begin" Mason said confidently.

"How about you Andre, are you in?" Mike asked as he noticed Andre was not saying anything.

"Um...sure, why not, I can't let you guys have all the fun" Andre said as he chuckled.

"That's my boy," Mason said as they all burst into laughter.

"Call me your boy one more time and I'll whoop your butt right now" Andre said jokingly.

"The only butt we are going to whoop is in the game" Tony said.

As they began the card game which was going smoothly and exciting, Tony happened to be the one winning the boys as Mason and the boy began to wonder how she happened to know how to play so well.
