Chapter Nine

"What kind of bloody suit Is this, have you messed with ancient powers?" Mason said to himself.

Mason's heart raced as he stared at the ancient letters and his name written on it that is only visible to him alone.

"What have I gotten myself into, how do I return this, should I just go over to the mansion and confess or what?" Mason was wondering.

Mason tried to touch the glowing suit as he was hesitating before waving his hand through the glowing suit but it felt like nothing but air, and though the suit stayed intact.

"What the hell is this?" Mason said to himself as he his gaze was fixated at the door. Tony had only left a few minutes ago, unaware of the sudden occurrence.

Mason tried to focus on the ancient markings on the suit and was confused, not until he noticed a strange word written "Fuerza ".

"What the hell does this mean?" Mason whispered quietly to himself.

But as he was glancing at the markings of the suit he felt a strange aura like a power awakening and surging from the suit.

He then remembered when he was at school and was ambushed by Arthur and his guys. Which he ended up receiving beatings.

As Mason was trying to make sense of what he was witnessing, the suit floated in the air and wore itself on Mason's body. Mason was terrified and shocked as he stood there frozen by what just happened.

The suit was barely visible on his body and only Mason had the eyes to see the suit on his body.

"Shit, how did this thing wear itself on my body, I'm I cursed or something" Mason voices out in fear.

"What does sobrehumana mean?" Mason brought out his phone and G****e what it means, he found out that Fuerza sobrehumana is a Spanish word for super strength, the suit grants the host the power of super strength and the suit doesn't just choose any random person, it chooses people who are pure in heart, the host of the suit must perform some certain task so as to be able to maintain the durability of the suit.

MISSION: REST FOR 8 HOURS

ABILITIES: STRENGTH.

DAILY TASKS: 70 PUSH UPS, 50 SQUATS, 150 KILOMETER RUNNING.

Mason was losing his breath as soon as he saw the word abilities.

"Abilities?, missions?" Mason whispers to himself, his mind racing as he tries to understand what is going on, as he wonders if it is possible that there was more to him that he never knew.

Mason kept his phone after reading all that he saw online about the suit. Leaving Mason staring at an empty floor.

Mason's heart was still racing as he sat down frozen and wondering what all of that meant and what would happen next.

Mason couldn't believe what he had just witnessed as he sat there completely dumbfounded as he kept staring at the spot where the suit was glowing from. His mind was racing as he was processing what just happened.

"Was I hallucinating?, did the suit just wore itself in my body" Mason asked himself as he couldn't believe his eyes so he blinked several times and checked his body but he could see the suit not glowing on his body, he was then certain that the suit is gone and once again the room became quiet except for the sound of crackling fire in the other room.

Mason heart kept beating in his chest as he wondered if all of this could be real because just moments ago he was a weakling, orphan boy and was not sure about his purpose in life and now out of nowhere he has been given abilities like he was a character in a video game and equipment he had never heard of such as super strength all he knew was magic wand and spell books.

Mason kept trying hard to process all of it but none of it made sense as he wondered why the suit chose him, and was surprised because he had always been an ordinary boy struggling with life challenges but not someone with super abilities or hidden powers.

Mason stood up slowly as he tried to test if the suit would glow back but nothing happened. He kept wondering if there was something inside him that he didn't know about or was there some secret tied to his past.

Mason began to breathe heavily as he needed answers for all these questions running through his head but didn't know who to ask and was certain not to bother Tony with it so as to avoid sounding crazy.

Mason glanced around the room hoping to find a clue but everything was like that just as he was.

Mason was shaking before he finally sat back. The edge of the bed while holding his head in confusion. If this is not a dream then it means something bigger is happening and he is involved but what?, he kept wandering.

Then suddenly a thought came to his mind like a whisper, Mason who was still trying to process what he read on his phone. As his mind was racing in different directions.

Mason stood up as his legs were still trembling and decided to calm himself down.

"I need a glass of water, I hope it would put me at ease" Mason said as he was hoping it would help him clear his head.

He left his room and made his way to the kitchen, he walked quietly on the wooden floor so as not to disturb Tony sleep, and the hose was silent as usual except for the crackling of the fire.

Mason took an empty glass and filled it with water from the tap that was in the kitchen. After taking a deep breath, Mason drank the water and the water was rushing into his mouth.

At first it was refreshing just like any other glass of water. But then something strange happened, as soon as the water entered his stomach. He noticed that the cup in his hands felt like he wasn't lifting anything.
