Though he understood all this long ago, he did not share this with anyone else.

It was only now that he spilled a few words out in his anger.

As soon as Caesar heard his words, his eyes instantly darkened.

He did not delay a second before he lunged forward and grabbed the old police officer's collar and shouted, "What do you mean?"

His eyes were ferocious as they turned red. He resembled a monster in the eyes of the police officer. He did not know how to speak as if he suddenly went dumb and his throat felt constricted even though Caesar did not hold his throat directly.

Caesar's face turned even darker and his grip became stronger as he growled, "Tell me. What do you mean by what you just said?"

How could he not find Jasmine's murderers?

No way. He would not accept this. He would not mind how many innocents he killed as long as he found the murderers.

If he can't find the ones who murdered her, then he only had one option.

A very simple option.

Kill everyone.

As long as he killed everyone, no matter who the original culprits were, they would be killed too, right?

As the thought flashed his mind, his face turned sinister.

The police officer was the only one who could see his expression and at a very close proximity nonetheless.

He shivered at such a sight and his legs turned into jelly. He felt like he could no longer stand and his entire body wobbled like a piece of mass.

It was only because of Caesar's grip on his collar that he was still standing straight instead of falling to the ground.

"I.. I.. I don't know much either," The police officer understood that he won't be left alone until he gives an answer to this kid. Hence he stuttered while saying.

Caesar raised an eyebrow, "You don't know?" He immediately pushed the man's body far away.

The force he used was not low and the old man's huge body went flying away as he crashed onto the huge stem of the tree under which Caesar has been resting all this while.

This monstrous strength of the weak looking young man shocked not only the citizens of the town but also the other police officers that came along with the old officer.

"How dare you attack a police officer? Aren't you scared of the law? I should take you to the police station immediately and show you the consequences of hitting a police officer. Only then you would know your place, right?" Another police officer from the side shouted at Caesar and raised his hand to punch on the latter's face.

Just before his fist could land on Caesar's face, he stopped.

No one understood what happened. The fist was just an inch away from Caesar's face. From the look of that distance, there is no way that the officer stopped himself before landing the punch.

Even if he wanted to stop his punch, his previous momentum would not be able to let him stop.

While everyone was thinking about what could have happened, they heard a loud screech from the back, "Skreee!!"

Before they could turn their heads backwards to look at the source of the sound, Monkero jumped from the air and landed on Caesar's shoulder.

He looked straight into the police officer's eyes who has been frozen and screeched once again, "Skreee!!"

The intensity of his screeches were enough to show anyone that he was so angry.

While screeching, Monkero closed in onto the officer's face, making the latter shiver in fear.

No matter how Caesar thinks of Monkero as a naughty yet cute kid, in the eyes of the others, he is a monster whose features scares them witless.

Looking at such a monster just a couple of inches away from his eyes, how could the police officer stay strong?

He wanted to take a few steps back. He wanted to run away. He wanted to close his eyes.

He had many thoughts but his body did not follow the orders of his mind.

He was frozen still.

His fist still in the air- ready to land a punch on Caesar's face- and his eyes wide open- when he was angry at the young man- which was now filled with fear. Everything was frozen.

He wanted to retract his fist but he couldn't.

'What is this monster? Where did this weird looking monster come from?' He did not understand.

No one had ever seen any monsters in their lives. It was only in a few books they read did they ever heard of some monsters. No matter what, at the end of the day all those monsters were supposed to be just a piece of fiction and not a part of reality.

But why could he see a real and living monster in front of his eyes?

Not only that but the monster was also very clearly mad at him.
