Nathan didn't want to let Rachel hear who he was or even get the idea that he was someone of that kind of power before it was time for him to reveal it to her.

“So what did you find Carl?” Nathan said as soon they were out of the room, he was looking at the man who came to give him the message.

“We found one of the five Specter family heirlooms that were taken on the day the enemy took out your family, they are trying to sell it at an auction,” Carl was looking at Nathan, he could see that there were signs of him being angry.

Nathan was still shocked that they were thinking of selling his family heirloom in an auction and it was clear they had concluded that there was no one left in the family that would come back to take it back.

“So they think they erased all of the Specters like that? This is something I can work with.” Nathan was muttering to himself when he got the news.

He turned to Carl, “So can you get me the information about this auction where it is held and the names of the families showing up there?”

Carl opened the file in his hand when he heard Nathan's request and he knew that there was no way he would be able to tell him no like that.

“I have a clear number of the people going to attend the event, they invited a few prominent men but then the one name that is still a shock to me is the name of the man who has the intention of selling the heirloom. I think his name will intrigue you, sir,”

Carl handed the file to Nathan, he looked into the book and saw something very shocking to him and he knew that they were going to be having a ball at the auction.

“Interesting, I knew that I would have to bring some heavy armory when I was coming back here.” Nathan was looking at the name on the paper and he was sure that there was no way he would want to let them walk out of this alive.

“I believe you have already made arrangements for my getting into the Auction?” Nathan was looking at Carl, he wanted to know what they were going to be doing next.

“Of course sir, everything has been sorted out, I just need you to get ready for the auction,” Carl said as he walked away too, pulling out his phone and it was clear he was going to be making a phone call.

Nathan walked back into the room where he was going to talk to his wife and see how she was doing. He caught her still adoring herself in the mirror, it was still unclear how he was able to clear off scars that had been there all her life.

“I wonder what he did to make sure that there was no way for me to see any sign of the wounds I used to hide from the world and now I am fully healed like there was nothing on my body before. I don't know what I am going to call this,” Rachel was looking at her body in the mirror.

“Let’s call it a miracle,” Nathan smiled as he looked at her.

His words stunned Rachel, she was not ready for Nathan to walk into the room like that and she was lost in the moment.

Rachel turned to look at the man standing behind her with a smile on his face. She couldn't hide the fact that the man she almost pushed away was the one who did everything in his power to make sure that she was okay.

Rachel didn’t know what she was going to say to him but then there was “I can't seem to thank you enough, even if it is a miracle, I need to thank you for giving me the chance to be able to look at the mirror and not want to break it.”

Rachel couldn’t look at Nathan, she put her head down trying to make sure that there was no way he would be looking her in the eye.

Nathan could only smile and look at the woman in front of him, it was something he had never imagined doing. He only had the intention to make sure that he would thank her for saving him from the car years ago.

Nathan walked up to Rachel, he was not going to let her feel that bad with herself it was going to be okay if she was going to be there with him.

“Rachel, I have something for you.” Nathan stood in front of Rachel as he put his hands into his pocket and brought out an odd-looking stone.

It was a bit strange and looked like a relic from an ancient time, it was a necklace carrying the symbol of a mountain and a sword.

“Take this, hold it anywhere you are going, and if you ever feel like you’re in huge trouble make sure you will hold it. I will be there to make sure that nothing is going to hurt you.” Nathan smiled as he looked at Rachel, he was going to the auction and he wanted to make sure that there was no way for her to get hurt.

Rachel looked at Nathan, she was confused. “Why are you giving this to me?” she asked looking at Nathan not letting anything hold her back from asking the question.

Nathan smiled, held her hand, and then said. “There is something I need to handle tonight, I will be back soon and then we can make arrangements to go see your family.”

Rachel was looking at Nathan and all she could imagine was what would have happened if he had been endangered by her words then it would have been a problem for her and he would not have done anything to heal her.

“Okay, I will be fine you can go handle whatever it is,” Rachel was smiling when she was looking at Nathan.

Nathan gave her a calm smile, “I will be back soon.”

Liu hadn't gotten any information on Cruz for a long time; he was not going to let anything make him think otherwise. He was trying to make sure that nothing would come in the way again and make Nathan feel like there was no way for him to get anything done. He was not sure what would come out of all his endeavors. But if one thing was certain, he would be able to get something done. “It seems that you don't understand what you are trying to get done here, do you?” A voice came from the door of his office; Liu smiled but didn't even bother to look back. “Elena, when would you learn that it is not formal for someone to come to the office like that…?” Elena giggled as she waltzed into the office; she was still not completely healed from what the men Cruz sent for her had done. “You're still trying to get the plans out?” She was looking at the papers on the table, confused; she didn't know what was going on in his head at the moment, and it wasn't even clear if there was a way for

“Obi-Nge, he is with the Masked General. Are you sure that you want to risk it in a fight?!” One of the Thorns was talking to Obi-Nge, a man with a shabby way of doing things. He wasn't trying to get in the middle of anything that would look like hard work for him, but if one of his prey had gotten away and was causing trouble. “Which is better, dealing with prey that you know you can kill and be through with, or being scared of a general that has nothing to do with your life?” Obi–Nge was looking at his partner, and nothing was going to prepare her for a question like that. He was looking at his partner and was not sure if there was going to be an answer from him. “I know you are trying to look out for me, but then there are better ways to do that, and I would love it if you understood that nothing is going to be holding us down like that, and I am not going to stand there to watch them take us down like we are some kind of lowlifes.” Obi-Nge sounded confident; he was known for

Nathan was looking at Loid; he had no idea what was going on. “I don't know what I am going to be hearing, but if you say that this is connected to all I want to know, then I am all ears.” He looked at Loid. There was no way he wouldn't want to know what was going on on the continent, and he was going to make sure that there was a way for him to solve the problem. “The families chosen were the Gregory family from the Eastern Valley, the Artheris from the Northern Plains, and then the Specters from Caldor. These were the three families picked out by the continent heads; they were going to make sure that nothing would come in the way of Orde and Law in Hondra.” Loid got up, moving to a part of the room where he picked up a chalk Nathan had lying around. “These families were not picked because of status or wealth; they were picked because the matriarch of each family had a strong sense of justice, and they were seen as the pinnacle of power and strength.” Loid sounded like there was

Nathan looked at the crest; he was not sure if it was the same as the one his family had. There was no clear difference, but then he was not sure if Loid might have had the same Crest. He didn't know if it was even possible for someone other than his family to carry the Crest like that. He did not want to interrupt the process; he had found a way to make sure that the poison would leave his body, and he was not going to let it go to waste. He would use it and make sure that nothing would take the man’s body.He waited for some time before he did something else to his body, but nothing showed that he was getting a response from the man and the treatment was going well. He stood there looking at him; the crest was still on his mind, not knowing what the exact reason was why he felt that there was something connecting it to his family, and all he needed was to make sure that there was nothing going to keep him on edge the whole time. Loid lay silent for a couple of minutes, and his bo

Zauf…. A country in Hondra is one of the deadliest places to even think of getting yourself a place. It wasn't even that much trouble getting lost there for a place called the Crime Land of Hondra—it was at its peak! In what seemed to be a five-star hotel, outside it wasn't always the worst place to be seen. Inside, there was a meeting and in that meeting sat five of the toughest and strongest men in Zauf. They were all seated for a meeting, there wasn't any sign of a weak being in the room. “I heard that those idiots failed to get Loid back here, oh the Supreme Syndicate ain't going to be happy about that.” One of the men spoke, looking around the room he could see that none of them would even have the mind to voice out what they were seeing and it was even sad for them in many ways. “How on earth did you think they would be able to do anything when they ran into the Masked General?” Another man spoke up, looking at the men there he was one of the few that looked odd and

“I don't know who told you that coming to my mansion was a good idea.” Nathan was looking at the last man standing, he had taken down the other two, and it wasn't even up to three minutes when they attacked. Nathan was moving like a hollow ghost taking them out one by one, and it was the last man he was looking at. His eyes were fixed on him like a hawk, and he wasnt going to be letting him go that easily. “You don't know what you are getting yourself into, if you touch me then that means you are making yourself an enemy and this isn't something you want to see yourself doing. There is no need to make yourself the enemy here.” The last man tried to talk to Nathan, but it would not work. He was looking at someone who had made up his mind to kill them and it was like pouring water on a rock. “You think I would give a damn to whatever it is you are trying to tell me. But I couldn't even care less.” Nathan was looking at the man, standing over him like a wall. “You think that I woul
