Nathan didn't want to let Rachel hear who he was or even get the idea that he was someone of that kind of power before it was time for him to reveal it to her.
“So what did you find Carl?” Nathan said as soon they were out of the room, he was looking at the man who came to give him the message.
“We found one of the five Specter family heirlooms that were taken on the day the enemy took out your family, they are trying to sell it at an auction,” Carl was looking at Nathan, he could see that there were signs of him being angry.
Nathan was still shocked that they were thinking of selling his family heirloom in an auction and it was clear they had concluded that there was no one left in the family that would come back to take it back.
“So they think they erased all of the Specters like that? This is something I can work with.” Nathan was muttering to himself when he got the news.
He turned to Carl, “So can you get me the information about this auction where it is held and the names of the families showing up there?”
Carl opened the file in his hand when he heard Nathan's request and he knew that there was no way he would be able to tell him no like that.
“I have a clear number of the people going to attend the event, they invited a few prominent men but then the one name that is still a shock to me is the name of the man who has the intention of selling the heirloom. I think his name will intrigue you, sir,”
Carl handed the file to Nathan, he looked into the book and saw something very shocking to him and he knew that they were going to be having a ball at the auction.
“Interesting, I knew that I would have to bring some heavy armory when I was coming back here.” Nathan was looking at the name on the paper and he was sure that there was no way he would want to let them walk out of this alive.
“I believe you have already made arrangements for my getting into the Auction?” Nathan was looking at Carl, he wanted to know what they were going to be doing next.
“Of course sir, everything has been sorted out, I just need you to get ready for the auction,” Carl said as he walked away too, pulling out his phone and it was clear he was going to be making a phone call.
Nathan walked back into the room where he was going to talk to his wife and see how she was doing. He caught her still adoring herself in the mirror, it was still unclear how he was able to clear off scars that had been there all her life.
“I wonder what he did to make sure that there was no way for me to see any sign of the wounds I used to hide from the world and now I am fully healed like there was nothing on my body before. I don't know what I am going to call this,” Rachel was looking at her body in the mirror.
“Let’s call it a miracle,” Nathan smiled as he looked at her.
His words stunned Rachel, she was not ready for Nathan to walk into the room like that and she was lost in the moment.
Rachel turned to look at the man standing behind her with a smile on his face. She couldn't hide the fact that the man she almost pushed away was the one who did everything in his power to make sure that she was okay.
Rachel didn’t know what she was going to say to him but then there was “I can't seem to thank you enough, even if it is a miracle, I need to thank you for giving me the chance to be able to look at the mirror and not want to break it.”
Rachel couldn’t look at Nathan, she put her head down trying to make sure that there was no way he would be looking her in the eye.
Nathan could only smile and look at the woman in front of him, it was something he had never imagined doing. He only had the intention to make sure that he would thank her for saving him from the car years ago.
Nathan walked up to Rachel, he was not going to let her feel that bad with herself it was going to be okay if she was going to be there with him.
“Rachel, I have something for you.” Nathan stood in front of Rachel as he put his hands into his pocket and brought out an odd-looking stone.
It was a bit strange and looked like a relic from an ancient time, it was a necklace carrying the symbol of a mountain and a sword.
“Take this, hold it anywhere you are going, and if you ever feel like you’re in huge trouble make sure you will hold it. I will be there to make sure that nothing is going to hurt you.” Nathan smiled as he looked at Rachel, he was going to the auction and he wanted to make sure that there was no way for her to get hurt.
Rachel looked at Nathan, she was confused. “Why are you giving this to me?” she asked looking at Nathan not letting anything hold her back from asking the question.
Nathan smiled, held her hand, and then said. “There is something I need to handle tonight, I will be back soon and then we can make arrangements to go see your family.”
Rachel was looking at Nathan and all she could imagine was what would have happened if he had been endangered by her words then it would have been a problem for her and he would not have done anything to heal her.
“Okay, I will be fine you can go handle whatever it is,” Rachel was smiling when she was looking at Nathan.
Nathan gave her a calm smile, “I will be back soon.”

"The man who I think I am is about to make sure that The Masked General is going to be contained." Sirus didn't want to make sure that there wasn't going to be any loop in their plan to make sure that Nathan was going to be contained and they wouldn't be worried about him. "I don't want you to make any promise that you won't be able to keep, I need to see that this man can make sure that there isn't going to be a thing that the Masked Tyrant can do to stop my plan."Klaus was on edge, his plan to take down the North was now being something that

But then, in the midst of that thought, Nathan got an idea. It was something that was bothering him, and he needed to make sure that there wasnt going to be a chance for him if he let it “Rach, I was wondering.” Nathan was looking at his hand. He knew what he had to do to make sure that he wasn't going to lose anything. “Yeah,” Rachel was on her study desk, trying to make sure that she would get the work done. “I was thinking if I am going to make sure that there was no way for me to lose anything else that I have grown to be fond of. I need to make sure you aren't going to get lost.” Nathan’s words sent chills down Rachel’s spine. She paused her work to look at him with a strange look on her face, and she was a bit scared knowing it wasnt the k

FLASHBACK CONTINUED Carl made sure that there wasn't a chance for Luca even to get a clear hit on him, pushing him back as he kept launching assault after assault making sure that the man was pinned. Luca was firing offensives, but tried to use a defensive strike on him. But it wasn't something he would deliver when fighting Carl; he always made sure there wasn't a chance for him to get an opening.“Damn it!” Luca cursed as he kept his eyes on Carl, who seemed to be going blurry like he was some kind of demon trying to kill anything he spotted. Nathan stood far from them, trying not to interfere in Carl's fight knowing that there wasn't going to be a problem for him since he was one of the warriors he could boldly take down anyone who would come close to him. Taking a step back, he noticed something. The room was a bit off, and it wasn't like they were alone. Looking up, he saw it even though he wasn't seeing them clearly enough he still saw it, and it wasn't trying to be hidden

The Attack at the Petoria Gala would leave everyone on edge, knowing someone could take down the Petoria head like that. The headlines had things like; ‘The first son of the late Frank Petoria was killed the same way his father was killed!’ ‘Might be the same person, who knows. Is Caldor still a haven for the elite?!’ Nathan had made sure that, the moment he was about to take his heirloom, he would take Rachel and hand her over to Liu. She was with Liu and Elena the whole time, trying to understand what he was trying to do, but when she saw the news, there was no need to ask again. “I didn't know that there was a chance that you would kill him, but I have never been good at calculating odds like that, and you aren't the type of person they would be able to count on your predictability.” She joked, looking at Nathan as he placed the heirloom in a chest, then turned to Rachel, who stood there with a smile. “Well, I didn't know I would have to kill him, but when threatened, I nee

And they also saw that over $15 million in damage was done. The entire place was turned upside down; it was almost like a fierce collision of monsters ready to end everything. Neo Ackerman and Marcus Xerves returned to the scene; they looked around with the police. Searching for the one thing that had brought them to the party in the first place. They rushed into the room where Wilson was supposed to take the heirloom, and they saw something that made it clear they would never get anywhere close to their plans. Wilson was lying on the floor, dead, with a cut on his neck, and his blood was splattered everywhere. "Fuck!" Neo kicked down the table in front of him; he wasn't even trying to hold his head up again. The police walked in to see what was happening, surprised to see that one of the prominent men in Caldor was killed

Carl managed to subdue Ohera; his hands were shaking as he stared at the unconscious body of the man, and he knew that there wasn't going to be much trouble coming from him. He turned to see that the party was now in chaos. Muttering a prayer, he knew there was a chance Rachel was in trouble while he was there facing Ohera, knowing that Nathan would be busy trying to deal with the Heirloom. "I'd better head back and...""Going to leave this early, brother?" A familiar voice rang out from behind. Carl paused, looking back to see if anyone was standing there, his mind running through many things he couldn't imagine. "It can't be, would you be here?!" He yelled, looking at Ohera. He knew they might have been here to take him. "If you are going to take him, then know that there isn't going to be a chance for you to...""No, no. I am not here for that deadweight; having him around will only put a hole in my plans, and that isn't why they sent me here, but it seems that I was a bit too
