“Are you insane?” The driver was looking at Nathan, he was not sure he had seen someone who would know it was them and even think of insulting them like that.
“Do you know who I am carrying in this car here?!” The man was looking at Nathan, he was expecting him to fall on the floor and plead for his forgiveness.
Nathan rolled his eyes, he was not happy in any way and he was also not going to say anything other than the fact he was not sorry for denting the car.
“I don't care if it was the Emperor you are carrying in your shit truck there, I would give you one piece of advice and that would be to learn how to drive.” Nathan was about to turn and walk away.
“You bastard, you better stop right there!” The man yelled, it seemed like he was not going to let Nathan walk out on him like that.
“You just dented, Lord Nico’s car! He is affiliated with the Keaton heir and you dare do something like that and think you are going to walk out without paying for it?!” The driver was persistent and he was not going to let Nathan walk away like he didn't do anything.
Nathan paused, he was not happy that he had to keep up with a conversation like that.
He turned to look at the man yelling at him, what pissed him off was that the man was not in any way the owner of the car but he had taken it upon himself to make sure that he would defend the car with everything he had.
“You are rather foolish for the driver, how are trying your best to make sure that you would defend something like that knowing that you were the one who almost hit me,” Nathan was looking at the man he knew that there was someone else inside the car who decided to make sure he would stay out of the fight and watch what was going to happen.
“If your master had had the balls you had he wouldn't be hiding inside the car, now if you excuse me I have to get to the venue I don't know about you,” Nathan turned and began walking away, not going to waste his time there any longer.
The driver was looking at Nathan walk out on him, he was not going to let him insult them like that and walk away from him. “You bastard! You better stop there-”
“Not another word Herold,” A voice came from inside the car, the driver paused in fear, he was not going to say anything cause he knew that the moment he did he would be dead.
“You think it will be nice if you were to begin yelling like a mad dog, I will meet this unfortunate being inside the auction house and he will have to pay for what he just did to my car.”
The man inside the car was looking at Nathan, he was wondering who he was and why he thought it was a good idea if he was going to dent his car and walk away.
‘I will have his head on a platter,’ The man said as he watched Nathan walk away.
Everyone standing close knew who the owner of the car was, he was someone who all of Caldor feared and respected because of what he could do.
Nico Gonazle! One of the feared leaders of the underworld, but then Nathan who didn't care who the man was didn't even want to know what it was he could do that made him some kind of feared man and it was clear he didn't care who it was the man was.
“Do you know him by any chance? For him to talk to Nico’s driver like that and not even begging them for mercy shows he is some kind of bigshot.”
“Or you mean someone who is pleading for his death, I have not seen anyone who would be that stupid to talk back to Nico’s driver and he is busy walking away like he has nothing to do there,”
“You’re right, he will be dead even before the auction ends and he will not see it coming from anywhere, he will be taken out.”
The onlookers had already decided Nathan’s fate and knew there was no way for him to walk out of the auction house with his head on his shoulder.
Nathan on the other hand didn't even care if he was going to be pissing off all the billionaires in the auction all he wanted to do was to make sure that there was no way anyone would stop him from taking what he came for.
He got to the door of the auction house and he could see the guards there and he knew they were checking for invites.
“Your name?” the guard asked looking at Nathan, he was not about to let him walk in with no invite.
“Nathan Spencer,” Nathan was looking at the guard, he had Carl make sure that there was no loophole getting in.
The guard looked through the list, spotted the name, and nodded his head.
Nathan walked in, he was not sure why the guard was looking at him like he spotted a bug.
Nathan didn't care and wanted to make sure that everything nothing was going to be a problem when everything started.
Nathan looked around to see that the entire auction house was filled with billionaires from all angles. ‘From what I am seeing here, there is a chance they will be waiting for more people to show up,’
Nathan was looking around knowing that there was a good chance that they were waiting for more men to come to the party and he was part of that list. Taken care of.
The moment he walked in he could see that the room was
On the stage a man walked out, dressed in an oxblood suit he had a tacky walk with an odd-looking face he stood in front of everyone before touching the mic.
“Please dear esteemed guests, if you would not mind getting seated the Auction is about to begin!” The man announced, Nathan sat down in the middle row with zero to nobody that would make him feel uncomfortable there.
He was looking around to see if he would spot anything off but then it was just a bunch of wealthy men who wanted to show off, he didn't want to get tangled with all that.
Nathan was waiting for them to bring out the heirloom so he would be able to take it back.
While Nathan was looking at the people scurrying in front of him, he didn't notice when someone sat beside him. The scent of well-picked flowers caught his attention, he turned to see a lady sitting beside him.
She was as beautiful as they came, she had a voluptuous figure and curves that would leave men in awe of her presence.
“Mind if I sit beside you?” The Lady smiled, she was looking at Nathan waiting for his reply.
Nathan smiled, he didn't want to sound rude but then he also didn't want anyone to suspect that he was there for more than the auction.
“You can,” Nathan said as he fixed his gaze back on the stage waiting for them to bring out the items.
The lady took a seat beside Nathan, she was looking at him, and from the looks of things she wanted to tell him something.
“You know, it is considered rude to look at someone that way,” Nathan blurted out, he wasn't even looking at her yet he knew that there was something out of the ordinary.
“My, you are quite the man aren't you?” The Lady smiled, she was still looking at Nathan. “I am surprised that you don't know me,”
Nathan rolled his eyes thinking that it was one of the many billionaires in Caldor that would want to flaunt their riches.
“Am I meant to know who you are too?” Nathan looked at her not even trying to think twice about what she said.
The lady smiled as she adjusted in her seat, “As expected from Lord Nathan, the masked General always did have a quick response.”
Nathan paused, he knew that the lady was not someone ordinary. He turned to look at her, he could see the smile on her face.
“Now who in the world are you?”

The winds in Caldor had changed; everyone knew something was going on, and there was something they couldn’t control happening in their midst, so the best thing they could do was to stay away and make sure that no one would even go close to it. Neo Ackerman and Michael Keaton knew what they were in for, and they didn’t want to believe that it was going to happen right away. Neo didn’t want anything to come between his deal with the order and what he was going to get, but hearing that Sirus was in town made it clear where he was standing and how fragile the floors were. He needed to make sure that no matter what happens, he won’t be in the crossfire, and the last thing he would be thinking about is what was going to happen next. Michael had made his way to see Neo; he knew that the only person who would be able to say something about what was going on was one of the big shots in the city, and he wasn’t going to back down from anything. “You better have a good darn reason to be her

They aren’t going to get us to back down from a fight, and even if they had a plan to

Nathan had gotten the call from Rachel while he was in another meeting with Loid and Steven. He didnt think much of it, but hearing her voice and her being all worried was something off. “Rachel, what is going on?” He was already worried that there was something about to happen; it was not even possible that something might have happened. “It's a code black, she is out there fighting someone and….”The line went dead, Nathan was looking at the phone, his eyes were empty, and he was trying to get his head through who might have gotten there. He was not about to rush there knowing that there was a chance they would be putting her in danger, but then there was something going on, and if he was not fast about it, then something might happen to Rachel, and he would never be able to forgive himself for it. “What happened?” Loid was looking at Nathan, the man walked past him with a strange look on his face, showing he was not about to be handling anything that was beyond what he would w

Sirus stood across the hall, looking at Cruz, waiting for him to make a move that would give him the opening he needed to take him down. There was nothing that would give him more joy than to remove the one man who seemed to be a huge problem for him at the moment. Cruz was still shocked to see Sirus in front of him. He knew something was about to happen, and it was about to take a swing south if he wasn't going to use his brain. “I—I didnt do anything to make you angry, my liege, and you know it. There is nothing that should make you even think of…” “You found out that Rachel Martins is the last living member of the Arias family, and what did you do?” Sirus spoke softly, but his voice never wavered to be soothed by anything to be trifled with, and his eyes were on Cruz, trying to see if he was going to use it to pin him down and make sure he would take out the man who was making things hard for him at the moment. “You went on to take her out alone, not even trying to bring it to

Their clash was strong enough to send waves through the company wall, and Elena was strong enough to hold her own against Cruz. It was like trying to put down a rabid dog, trying to do its best to kill her. Every strike Cruz made, Elena seemed to have a counter and a quick recovery time that made it hard for anyone to even put up with her in any way. She was one of the generals for a reason, and that reason was that no one would even think of coming close to her to put her down. Cruz saw what she was doing and the way it felt like she had the moves waiting for him to make a mistake. “You know this is why I always saw you as someone formidable, and I would never do anything to cross your path.” He said as he took a step back, his eyes on Elena, who didnt seem to have broken a sweat yet. “It was the reason why you didn't even look like someone I would try to take on because I knew the moment I went for you, then there would be problems that even my skills couldn’t buy me out of.”

“Come on, Rachel, you don’t need to do anything to make sure that nothing is going to come your way from all the angels, and I will make sure you will not even know what is going to happen if you let it go that much.” Elena was trying to see if he could get Rachel to calm down over some business agreements they had, and from what he was seeing, it was not going to be easy for anything even to happen. Rachel was trying to get her head out of the game for some time, knowing what it meant if they were about to get something done. “I am telling you, if we can get this company to back down, then there is a chance for you to maximise the earning rate of this company, and we aren't going to be getting anything out of it if we keep taking the low way down.” Elena had a smile on her face. She was surprised that Rachel was picking up fast enough like that, and there was nothing a bit off about it except that she was now taking everything like she was darn pro in the field for a long time.
