Chapter Thirty-six

Ric turned to face his mother with a look of oblivion in his eyes. "It's Dylan." He points his finger in his direction.

They saw Natalie tucking her hand into his and dragging him out of the mansion onto the pouch, they stood there. His height condescending to Natalie, she gulped scrubbing her hair and pulled it off.

"Thank you."

"For what?" Dylan knowing fully well as she thanked him wanted to be specific. He stepped closer to Natalie. "I did not sign the divorce paper, as you wanted," Dylan said.

"For saving me!" She evacuated the last word.

Dylan chuckled and stepped closer this time they were only breathing apart.

"There's a tag on your shirt. Don't rush downtime."

Natalie with a fluttering heart swat his hand away. "Don't think your call saved me."

"Stop being dramatic, you just said I saved you." Dylan had a playful smirk on his face.

"Your father really cares about you. You should meet him, at least when he's least alone." Dylan edged towards the staircase.
