Ethan sat in the quiet crematorium all through the long dark night. The cold metal chair offered absolutely no comfort to his aching bones. He watched the tired staff slowly arrive at the break of dawn.
His blank eyes stared straight ahead as the heavy steel furnace door closed. The loud clank echoed in his empty chest.
He carried the dark ceramic urn back to the massive Morgan family home. He walked up the grand staircase and packed his few cheap clothes into a worn suitcase.
Ethan placed his silver house keys gently on the glass coffee table. He stood in the middle of the familiar and expensive living room. A bitter taste filled his dry mouth. This miserable chapter of his life was completely finished.
The heavy mahogany front door swung wide open. Sophia walked in with Tyler, Diane, and Ashley closely trailing behind her.
They were laughing loudly about their fancy brunch after last night's successful dog party. Their bright and satisfied smiles vanished instantly when they noticed the dark urn in Ethan's hands.
"Who gave you permission to bring that filthy dirt into this beautiful house?" Tyler shouted. His face twisted into an extremely ugly and hateful scowl.
"Get that disgusting garbage out of my clean living room right now," Diane ordered. Her eyes narrowed with a familiar threatening glare.
"Take those ashes outside immediately and apologize to us," Sophia said. Her voice remained perfectly calm and utterly cold.
"Do it quickly and I will pretend you never brought that dead weight in here," Sophia added. She crossed her arms over her expensive silk blouse in total dismissal.
Ethan let out a sudden and sharp laugh. His rough voice sounded completely hollow and devoid of any real amusement.
"You ungrateful parasites really make me sick," Ethan stated. His dark eyes burned with intense anger.
"Four years ago you owed massive gambling debts to very dangerous people," Ethan reminded. He pointed a steady finger directly at Tyler.
"My mother pawned her precious ancestral ring just to save your worthless life," Ethan sneered. His tone dripped with pure disgust.
"Shut your stupid mouth you lying stray dog," Tyler yelled. His face turned bright red with deep embarrassment and rage.
"And you knelt on this exact floor begging my mother for money," Ethan continued. He shifted his cold gaze directly to Diane.
"You cried like a pathetic beaten hound right at her tired feet," Ethan mocked. His facial expression showed absolute zero pity.
"How dare you speak to me like that you filthy street mutt," Diane screamed. She clenched her fists tightly by her sides in fury.
"You begged my mother for a simple job introduction near her tiny clinic," Ethan said. He stared directly into Ashley's shocked eyes.
"Now you act like you own the entire world," Ethan laughed. His loud voice echoed with deep and heavy bitterness.
"You are nothing but a delusional beggar begging for scraps," Ashley snapped. She lifted her chin up in a highly defensive posture.
"And you never once called her Mom," Ethan whispered. He finally looked at his gorgeous wife.
"You used her brilliant business strategies to save your dying company from total bankruptcy," Ethan accused. His eyes searched Sophia's perfectly makeup covered face.
"I am so entirely tired of your pathetic little emotional scenes," Sophia sighed. She rolled her eyes toward the ceiling in sheer annoyance.
"I thought you would finally understand how incredibly hard things have been for me lately," Sophia complained. She adopted a very fake wounded expression.
Ethan reached slowly into his dark jacket pocket. He pulled out the thick divorce papers he had already prepared days ago.
He slapped the white documents hard onto the glass coffee table. The sudden loud smack startled everyone in the large room.
"Sign them," Ethan demanded. His voice was completely flat and totally emotionless.
The entire room erupted into genuine and explosive laughter. The cruel sound bounced wildly off the high ceiling.
"A homeless mongrel is actually asking for a divorce?" Tyler howled. He clutched his stomach in pure and vicious amusement.
"Agree immediately and throw this rabid dog right into the dirty street," Diane cheered. A wicked and ugly smile spread across her wrinkled face.
"Director Morgan has a hundred far superior men waiting in line for her," Ashley mocked. She smirked with absolute and sickening arrogance.
"You are just a stray puppy trying to run away from a luxury palace," Ashley giggled. Her tone was incredibly harsh and degrading.
Sophia stopped laughing completely and looked deeply offended by his actions.
"You have the absolute audacity to be the one asking for a divorce?" Sophia asked. Her beautiful face flushed with sudden wounded pride.
"I protected you from your own pathetic inferiority every single day," Sophia claimed. She placed a dramatic hand flat over her racing heart.
"I never took you to high class events because you are a shameful secret," Sophia insulted. Her voice trembled with totally fake righteous anger.
"I will leave with absolutely nothing," Ethan promised. He pushed the white papers much closer to her manicured hands.
Sophia lost her carefully practiced composure completely. Her breathing turned heavy and visibly erratic.
She snatched a gold pen from her expensive designer purse. She signed the bottom line with very aggressive and sharp strokes.
"Get out of my house right now," Sophia commanded. She pointed a shaking finger violently toward the heavy front door.
"When you walk out that door I will never ever forgive you," Sophia threatened. Her bright eyes burned with highly toxic hatred.
"Even if you come back crawling on your knees like a good dog I will kick you away," Sophia screamed. Her face morphed into pure unadulterated rage.
"Thank you," Ethan said. A genuine look of total relief finally washed over his tired face.
He pocketed the signed papers quickly. He picked up his mother's urn very gently with both of his hands.
He grabbed his cheap suitcase and walked out without looking back.
"You will regret this you worthless piece of trash," Sophia shrieked after him. Her loud voice echoed wildly out into the open air.
Ethan raised one hand in a final wave and kept moving.

CHAPTER 84 PART 2
Victor Sr. nodded. He walked slowly to the center of the hall, his frail legs steady despite the exhaustion carved into every line of his face. He stopped in front of Ronald and looked down at him with the quiet, terrible authority of a man who had built everything in this room from nothing and was now watching parts of it try to tear themselves apart."Ronald," Victor Sr. said. His voice was slow and deliberate, each word placed like a stone being laid into a wall. "You are stripped of all corporate positions within the Harlow family business, effective immediately."Ronald's face went white."Your family dividend shares are confiscated," Victor Sr. continued. "Every asset tied to your name within the Harlow holdings is now frozen."Ronald's body began to shake."You are expelled from this estate permanently," Victor Sr. said. "You may no longer claim the Harlow name. You may no longer identify yourself as a member of this family. From this moment forward, you are nothing to us."Ron
CHAPTER 84 PART 1
Victor Sr. looked down at Ronald's trembling, kowtowing form and felt something heavy settle in his chest. It was not anger. It was something worse. Disappointment so deep it had gone past pain and come out the other side as nothing at all. He shook his head slowly and turned away.Victoria stepped forward and looked at the row of kneeling family members the way a person looks at insects that have crawled onto a dinner table."Five minutes ago you were telling my grandfather to go die so you could save your own skins," Victoria said. Her voice was steady and sharp enough to cut glass. "You called him stubborn. You called him selfish. You said his life was worth less than your comfort. And now you are on your knees crying like beaten dogs begging for scraps."Mrs. Hayes folded her arms and looked at Ronald specifically."You stood in the middle of this hall and led the charge," Mrs. Hayes said. "You told everyone to throw Victor Sr. to the wolves. You called Ethan delusional. You said
CHAPTER 83 PART 2
The Black Tiger Crew elites, twenty three men scattered around the edges of the hall, raised their weapons. Fingers found triggers. Barrels leveled at heads and chests and anything that moved.Master Frank's figure flickered. He did not move the way normal men moved. He did not run or lunge or charge. He simply ceased to exist in one location and began existing in another, and in the space between those two moments, the world changed. The first elite dropped with a puncture wound through the center of his forehead. No sound. No cry. Just a body folding to the ground like a puppet whose strings had been cut. The second fell a fraction of a second later. Then the third. Then the fourth. Master Frank passed through them like a shadow moving through a room full of candles, and every candle he touched went dark.Henry's finger was on the trigger. The barrel was aimed at Ethan's chest. His hand squeezed.A puncture wound appeared in his forehead. His eyes went wide for a single instant, and
CHAPTER 83
The three words hung in the air like the last note of a funeral bell. Kill them all. The hall held its breath and the world seemed to stop spinning for a full second before the panic hit.Ian Watanabe was the first to break. His corporate composure, the last thin layer of dignity he had been clinging to like a man gripping the edge of a cliff, shattered completely. He stumbled forward with both hands raised and his voice climbing to a pitch that cracked the polished surface of every word."You cannot kill me," Ian screamed. His eyes were wild and spit flew from his lips. "I am a foreign dignitary. I represent the Watanabe Pharmaceutical Group on the international stage. If I die on American soil, it will cause a diplomatic crisis between two nations. You will bring consequences down on this entire city that no one can control."He was backing away as he spoke, his polished shoes sliding across the marble, and then his hand found Henry Bennett's shoulder. He grabbed the bigger man and
CHAPTER 82 PART 2
Henry's grin was completely gone. In its place was the raw, animal terror of a man watching a door close that he cannot reach. He threw himself forward and dropped to his knees in front of Master Frank, grabbing at the hem of the grandmaster's torn coat."Master Frank, please," Henry begged. His voice cracked and his eyes filled with desperate tears. "My son Chad. They killed my son. You have to avenge him. I brought you here to avenge my boy. Please."Master Frank stopped and looked down at the man kneeling at his feet."What was your son's name?" Master Frank asked."Chad," Henry said eagerly. "Chad Bennett. He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery. I can take you there after this is over. You can pay your respects and then...""Chad Bennett dared to offend the Human Tower Master," Master Frank said. His voice carried no sympathy, no warmth, no hesitation. "He deserved his death."Henry's face froze."I will not avenge him," Master Frank continued. He looked down at Henry with those flat,
CHAPTER 82 PART 1
Henry's face split into a grin so vicious it barely looked human. The moment Master Frank's black coat appeared in the doorway, every ounce of dread that had been crushing his chest evaporated. The grandmaster had arrived. The nightmare was over. Ethan Cole was finished.Ian Watanabe straightened his suit jacket and stepped forward. He bowed deeply from the waist, the kind of bow a corporate man gives only to someone he genuinely fears and respects."Master Frank," Ian said. His voice was smooth and dripping with deference. "Thank you for coming. Please, dispose of this man once and for all so we can proceed with our business."Ronald and his supporters had already swarmed around Richard near the entrance. Ronald clapped Richard on the shoulder and beamed at him like he was greeting a returning king."It is over," Ronald said. He was practically bouncing on his heels. "The moment the old man is dead, we put you in the chair. I have been saying for years that this family needed new lead
