THE COURT IS PLEASEDThe place went quiet again as they all waited for Judge Grant to speak.He finally looked up and addressed the audience.“Alright, thank you, Mr David. ANOTHER PIECE OF EVIDENCE“Thank you, Mr Ethan. However, you didn't answer the parts on the state you found Keziah in before you started your treatment with her.” Mr David asked him, trying to pinpoint where he had skipped in his narration. Ethan quickly realised his mistake. “Oh, sorry. I forgot about that. The state I found her in was very bad. She was almost like a corpse. She lay on the bed flat and could not move by herself. The only part of her body she could move was her eyes. And she could only move them slowly when people entered her room or when people approached her. She could not move her hands, feet or any other part of the body apart from her eyes. She was being fed through a tube that was connected from her mouth through to her throat. That sent her food down to her stomach. She wore a diaper to be able to hold her faecal matter and urine until she was changed, as she could not control her bowel muscles. THE ILLEGAL DOCTORThe place remained totally quiet as Mr David sat down and the judge noted some things on his paper. Everybody waited for him to speak and to give their order on what next they were supposed to do. After about two minutes of waiting silently for the judge to speak, he finally looked up at the audience and spoke. He began by heaving a heavy sigh and picking up his gavel. “Ladies and gentlemen, this has been an intense one. A lot of the evidence has been submitted and this cause needs to critically look at it. However, we do not have a lot of time on our side so we will proceed with the remaining witnesses and see what you can achieve within the remaining time you have. FINALLY EXPOSEDThe courtroom fell silent for a minute as Mr David took his seat. It was almost as if everyone was trying to process what had just happened. Even the judge was quiet as he noted something vigorously on a piece of paper in front of him.
