Chapter 11 - Graveyard

"Thank you," said Julian, accepting the tray containing breakfast for himself and Aurora.

Aurora was still fast asleep. Aurora looked much better than before. The doctor also left some prescription drugs to reduce Aurora's pain.

Julian sat beside the bed and put the tray of food on the nightstand beside Aurora. Julian gently strokes Aurora's face and wakes her up. "Aurora, dear, wake up."

Aurora squirmed as soon as she felt Julian's touch and heard his voice. Aurora opened her eyes slowly and stretched her body. Julian chuckled a little at Aurora, who began to squirm. Not forgetting, Julian also helped Aurora get up and sit up with a pillow.

"Thank you," Aurora said softly.

"Anytime, dear." Julian gave her a short peck on the forehead. "Let's have breakfast."

"Hm, okay." Aurora complied and nodded her head.
