“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Take down the video,” she said, her voice croaking as if she were crying. Travis asked. “Is this some kind of trick? What are you talking about?” “My shop is my only business, please…it's my only source. Please call them off…I'm sorry.” “What are you talking about?” “Take down the video.” “Goodbye.” Travis cut the call. What was that about? Barely a minute later, the phone rang again. This time, it was Nate calling. He answered. “Yo, how did you do it?” asked Nate enthusiastically. “You too? What are you talking about?” “You don't know? Someone posted a video of what happened the day madam slapped you.” Travis frowned. “Seriously?” “Yes. Everyone is giving the eatery negative reviews because she disrespects her employees. No one wants to go there now.” “Hmph, serves her right,” scoffed Travis. “That's not all. The person also found out she was also into drug trafficking and used the eatery as a store for it.” Travis blinked. Drug traffickin
13. The family mysteries
Travis stared wide-eyed at the mirror, unable to believe the person staring back at him was actually him. He had no idea he could be this good-looking. His hair, once full and thick, had been reduced, trimmed and well-styled. Brenda was a good stylist.“Another job well done,” said Brenda, impressed by her work.“I’m obsessed. This is great.” Travis said, turning his head to the side.“Finally, you look like a human,” Khloe muttered, to which Travis rolled his eyes.Eva chuckled. “My boy looks so handsome.”“Hmm, is it just me or does he kind of looks like you, Eva?” Brenda narrowed her eyes at Travis's reflection.“So, let's move on.” Eva quickly changed the topic. “You mentioned skincare?”“Oh, right.” She reluctantly looked away from Travis's reflection. “Your skin looks good now, but it could be better. I can see some signs of acne on your face.”Travis frowned and touched his face.“I'll give you a skincare routine that you must follow if you want accurate results.”Travis nodded
12. Don't judge a book by it's cover
“Hold up. Is that a black card I see?”“No wonder they are VIPs. I can't even get a black card despite my wealth.”“Well, someone's going to regret messing with them.”The manager gulped. “A black card?”"H-How did you get that? You stole it, didn't you?" Sophie accused, her knees wobbling. “Who did you steal this from? How–”Brenda glared at her. “Don't you dare accuse my VIP of stealing.”“Isn't that his name on the card?” Khloe added, her lips widening to a smirk.Sophie’s body shuddered in fear. One would think she just saw a ghost.“Well?” asked Travis, waving the card.Hands shaking, she hesitantly took the card. Travis had to be bluffing. This was a fake. She swiped the card. The terminal beeped. Transaction successful.Sophie nearly dropped the terminal. “No. How is this possible?”The manager stepped back, sweat breaking out from her forehead despite the cool temperature. Daniel and Elina could only stare in shock, unsure of how else to react.“I told you not to judge yet,”
11. Brenda to the rescue
Sophie said. "This isn't a matter of judging. You have no money, so just leave before I call security on you." "I want to buy a phone. Why can't you understand?" Travis was getting frustrated. "Still not going to leave, huh? Okay, you've forced my hand." The manager took out her phone. "Security, please." Travis scoffed. "Seriously? What did I do wrong?" "Keep on asking." The door swung open. Khloe walked in. "What's taking you so..." Her brows furrowed. "What's happening?" Sophie smiled, thinking Khloe was a customer. "Oh, nothing, madam. Security will be here soon to throw him out. Don't let him bother you. What would you like to buy?" "Throw whom out? Him?" She pointed at Travis. "Yeah, don't mind him. He entered the mall when he couldn't afford anything. Can you believe that?" Khloe and Travis's eyes met. Khloe gave him a questionable look. Travis just shrugged at her. "Did he buy something and didn't pay, or did you just come to that assumption?" asked Khloe.
10. Trouble at Alphamart
Travis's eyes widened as he took in the mall's interior. It was massive, filled with numerous stores, selling various goods. Air conditioners blasted cool air everywhere. He watched people going in and out of stores with their goods. One look at them and you could tell they were wealthy. Some even had security personnel following them. Khloe walked him around, showing him the different stores. There were so many that Travis lost count of how many they walked past. The arcade caught his interest though. It's been a while since he had fun in an arcade. They walked past a store which looked new as if it had just been built recently. The name of the store was displayed just above the door, ‘SandysGadget.’ Travis peered into the store. It was new, all right. Travis didn't know much about phones or gadgets, but any human with a good working brain could tell that the gadgets on display were expensive and of top brands. Travis took out his phone. It was an old model with a cracked screen

Travis couldn't believe what he saw when they arrived. What used to be a little bungalow, his dear home, was now a pile of rubble and ash.Travis stood dumbfounded. Who had the audacity to burn down his home? "Oh my..." Eva muttered, staring at the mess.Travis clenched his fist. More than ever, the urge for vengeance in him increased. First they took Adam, now they've burnt down his home? They'll pay dearly."We'll find out who's responsible for this. They'll regret this," promised Eva.With a heavy heart, Travis walked around the rubble, checking to see if he could salvage anything. All his personal things and Adam's things were in this house, now burnt. He sighed after searching for a while. Everything was destroyed. "Let's go."They left the area. As he rode out of the neighborhood, he wondered if he'd ever visit here again.Travis's mood didn't improve during the journey back to the mansion.
