A few minutes later, Callum walked out of the elevator.

Sounds of stomping feet instantly invaded his ears, and he was quickly surrounded by more than ten guards. Seeing the group of people around him, Callum did not know what to do.

“You’re finally back, you little pervert!” A sexy woman “Yeah! You’re only a beggar, yet you molested Miss Blanchard! You’re just asking for death at this point! Look at yourself!” The receptionist also chimed into the conversation.

“I admit I was in the wrong, but I’ve already apologized for that. What else do you want me to do?” Callum frowned as he asked the woman in front of him.

“What do I want you to do? Do you know how disgusted I felt earlier? How dare the likes of you touch me! Do you know who I am? Look at the rags you’re wearing! Sheesh, just thinking of it makes me gag!” There was obvious disgust in her voice.

“That’s your problem, not mine. Please, just move aside. I’d like to leave now!”

The woman’s words sparked rage within Callum, for she spat out insults. Callum’s tone was harsh when he addressed her.

“Leave?” The woman sneered, then pointed at him. “You’re not leaving so long as the problem is not resolved!”

“Then how do you propose we fix it?” Callum looked at the woman.

“Just… Just kneel down and apologize! Then leave at once. If you don’t, I’ll send you straight to the police station!” At this point, the woman yelled like she was actually giving a speech.

“Yeah! Kneel and apologize to Miss Blanchard!” The onlookers joined the commotion.

Callum stood alone among the crowd. He never thought this woman would go that far. He had accidentally touched her chest, but she was demanding he kneel as a form of apology.

“What are you spacing out for? Kneel right now!” one of the guards said.

Callum turned to look at the guard without talking back. He was poor, sure, but he still had his pride!

“Kayla, why did you call the guards?” An angry voice was heard behind Callum, and everyone was shocked.

Salem had originally decided to see Callum off by leaving Triton Center with him since Callum was now the president of the Triton Group and worth trillions. As Callum’s subordinate, Salem naturally had to please his superior. However, he never expected Callum to leave in such a hurry. Salem waited for the elevator to return so he could catch up.

Yet the moment he stepped out of the elevator, he saw a woman and a bunch of guards blocking Callum’s way out. He was so appalled at the sight that he broke out in a cold sweat.

“M-Mr. Gibbs? W-Why are you here?” Kayla Blanchard looked behind Callum and exclaimed.

“What are you doing, Kayla?” Salem took a step forward and questioned the woman with an unusually angry expression on his face.

“Mr. Gibbs, this beggar harassed Miss Blanchard, so she’s teaching him a lesson!” The receptionist did not know what was going on, so she explained using the cutest voice she could muster.

“Beggar?!”

Her words indeed angered Salem as what came next spelled disaster for her. He pointed at her and roared, “You are fired. Gather your things and leave right now.”

The receptionist was puzzled and on the verge of tears. She spoke in a soft voice, saying, “Mr. Gibbs, I—”

“You what? I said you’re fired! Are you deaf?!” Salem shouted. He turned around and spoke to Callum in a voice of utmost respect. “President Bowman, are you alright? It’s my fault. I should’ve followed you out.”

“I’m fine,” Callum responded calmly.

Hearing Salem’s words, everyone had disbelief written all over their faces. The famous general manager of the Triton Group actually called a beggar “president”?

“P-President…” Kayla stared at Callum, dumbfounded. “M-Mr. Gibbs, what exactly is going on?”

“What do you think is going on? Apologize to President Bowman right now! He is the new president of our company!” Salem ordered.

Kayla fearfully turned to Callum and spoke. “President Bowman, I’m truly sorry for what happened. I was so blind that I didn’t recognize you, and I even made you upset. Please, forgive me…” With that, she bowed apologetically.

Because her shirt was stained with coffee earlier, Kayla currently wore a low-cut shirt. When she bowed, her cleavage was exposed to the world, and Callum gawked at the sight. He had to admit Kayla was much better than the girls at his college.

“Mr. Bowman, how do you plan to deal with her?” Salem whispered.

All the color drained from Kayla’s face when she heard Salem’s words. She quickly rushed to Callum’s side and said, “Mr. Bowman, please don’t fire me. As long as I don’t get fired, I will do anything you say.”

The Triton Group was a huge enterprise that people fought tooth and nail to join. Kayla climbed up the ranks with great pain to get to her current position as a department manager, and she was earning more than 100,000 per month. She would not be able to bear it if she lost her job just like that.

“Anything I say?” Calum was stunned for a moment before contemplating his next action.

Kayla was elated to know that she might have a chance, so she quickly added, “Yes, I’ll do anything you want.” As she spoke, she moved closer to Callum. Her voice was heavy with a certain emotion, and she put on a seductive expression.

This young man was anything but ordinary, being the president of the Triton Group at his age. Kayla had already thought about something to happen between them, and if things went as planned, her position in the company was secured.

“All right, then. From today onward, you’ll be working as a janitor here!” Callum announced his decision. Then he strode right out of the building.n walked out from the crowd and crossed her arms. It was the woman Callum accidentally touched.

“Yeah! You’re only a beggar, yet you molested Miss Blanchard! You’re just asking for death at this point! Look at yourself!” The receptionist also chimed into the conversation.

Departing from the Triton Center, Callum Bowman found himself at Zenith Bank, ready to put to test the card Salem Gibbs had given him - a card purportedly with no limit on withdrawals.

However, just as he was about to step inside...

A lively group of young men and women emerged from the bank, colliding head-on with Callum.

"Well, well, isn't this my trash-picking ex-boyfriend?"

"What's this? You, a pauper, also came to Zenith Bank to withdraw money?"

The voice belonged to none other than his ex-girlfriend, Carol Mitchell!

At that moment, Carol was clinging affectionately to Ethan York's arm, her face twisted in disdain as she looked Callum up and down, taking in his worn-out clothes. She didn't hold back her scornful laughter!
