Before this, Mr. Billionaire strolled out of the store with Becky and Daniella clinging to his arms. They were heading for the parking lot.
The girls were already drooling over their new billionaire boyfriend. They couldn't wait to see what kind of car he drove.
"Babe, what are you driving?" Becky asked, batting her eyelashes.
"Yes, tell us!" Daniella added. "We're dying of curiosity."
Mr. Billionaire smiled mysteriously. "First, tell me something," he said. "What is the most expensive car a student owns on your campus?"
Becky waved her hand. "It doesn't matter, because no student on our campus is a billionaire."
"Except for the Arab Royalties," Daniella added.
"The Arab who?" Mr. Billionaire asked.
The girls shook their heads like he had just asked who the sun was.
"They're in their own league," Becky explained. "They're princes and princesses from the Gulf States."
"They're heirs and heiresses to billions, even trillions, of oil money," Daniella said dreamily. "Their cars are out of anyone's league on campus."
Mr. Billionaire nodded slowly like a wise professor. "Interesting," he said. "And who owns the most expensive cars after them?"
That question started a war. Becky and Daniella began to argue loudly in the middle of the parking lot.
"Justin's car is the most expensive!" Becky said.
"No way! Barry's new sports car beats his by far!" Daniella argued.
"Mercedes has a pink convertible with diamonds on the seats," Becky shot back. "And Anna's has a champagne fridge inside."
"A champagne fridge in a car?" Mr. Billionaire said. "How very ordinary."
In the end, 5 names came up: Justin, Barry, James, Mercedes, and Anna. They called themselves the Big 5.
Sometimes they were friends, and sometimes they were enemies, which made them frenemies. The Arab Royalties never joined their petty competitions, so the Big 5 were the main show of affluent competition on campus.
"They will all come to the Chancellor's party tonight," Becky said. "Each of them will bring their most expensive car, or the latest one they added to their collection."
"Every one of them has a car collection worth between $2 million and $3 million," Daniella said proudly.
Mr. Billionaire burst out laughing. The girls frowned, confused.
"That's nothing," he said, waving his hand. "I came here with three cars, and each of them costs at least $20 million."
Becky and Daniella gasped for breath. Then they started giggling and dancing in circles.
"Show us, show us!" they screamed.
Mr. Billionaire pointed at three cars parked a little distance away. The girls caught a glimpse of the shiny metal, and they froze.
For a second, they held their breath. Then they raced toward the cars like little girls who had just spotted their celebrity crush.
Mr. Billionaire and his bodyguards laughed as they watched them run. Then they walked slowly after them, like kings with all the time in the world.
One of the bodyguards leaned close and whispered. "Davis," he said. "Did you forget about the assignment we were sent here to do?"
So that was his real name. Mr. Billionaire was Davis, and Davis was not a billionaire.
"Relax, Matthew," Davis whispered back. "Can't you see our game is going better than ever?"
"This is going too far," Matthew said through his teeth. "We're playing with fire, and it could burn our families too."
"Don't start," Davis said. "You always complain whenever it's my turn to flex."
"And do you know why? Because I always get the best girls."
"It's not about the girls, you idiot," Matthew hissed. "Well, okay, I'm a little jealous of these ones."
"But those cars belong to our boss's boss's boss's son and his friends!"
"One scratch, or one mistake in the delivery, and we won't just lose our jobs."
"Our boss will skin us alive, and then he'll do the same to our entire families."
For once, Davis dropped the act. All the color left his face.
"What do we do now?" he whispered. "I think I'm going to throw up."
Matthew shook his head. "I told you this plan was stupid. I told you in the store, in the parking lot, and in my dreams."
"We get rid of the girls immediately," he said.
"We'll pick them up later. For now, we go back to the task and wait for the grand arrival of Madam Diana's son."
Davis nodded quickly. But just as they were about to put the plan in motion, the girls ran back to them.
"Mr. Billionaire," Becky said angrily. "Why is your mere bodyguard talking to you like you're equals?"
"Has he forgotten his place?" Daniella added.
Davis forced a laugh. "He's only being security conscious," he said. "These cars are very expensive, you know."
The girls smirked at Matthew and turned back to Davis. "We are all yours from today," they said. "You can do whatever you want with us."
Davis licked his lips and looked at Matthew with a wide smile. It was a signal that the game was going better than expected, and he couldn't stop now.
Matthew gave him a warning look to stick to the plan. But the girls pulled Davis away before he could respond.
"Everyone will be shocked tonight when they see the cars we're coming with," Becky told Daniella.
"Even Mercedes and Anna will be jealous!" Daniella squealed.
The girls laughed, and Matthew pinched Davis hard on the back. Then he drew a finger across his throat in a death warning.
Davis cleared his throat and returned to his billionaire voice. "Ladies, I must attend to a multibillion-dollar business deal."
"I'll give you some money to take a ride home," he said. "I will see you later tonight."
The girls pouted. "Why are you dismissing us like this?" Becky asked.
"At least send your bodyguard to drop us home in one of the cars," Daniella said.
Davis laughed and lied smoothly. "The cars can't be driven just yet. My insurance people are coming to insure them before I start using them."
"From tonight, I will only take you out in these cars and nothing less."
The girls believed every word. They agreed to go, but only after taking pictures with the cars.
Matthew rushed forward to stop them. Becky slapped him across the face.
"Control your bodyguard," she told Davis. "We're your women now, and we deserve to be treated with respect."
Matthew's face burned with anger. But Davis signaled him to please just play along.
Meanwhile, Jimmy, his friends, and Ms. Spells reached the edge of the parking lot. From where they stood, they saw Mr. Billionaire and the girls playing around the cars.
Ms. Spells almost ran mad. What disrespect!
She marched ahead of the boys to confront the fake billionaire. But before she got there, Matthew had already gotten rid of the girls.
He gave them $5,000 for a ride home. The girls' eyes almost popped out, because a real ride cost less than $100.
"Thank you, Mr. Billionaire!" they screamed. They ran off excitedly, sure that their lives had changed for good.
Matthew let out a long breath. "Thank God they're gone."
"Did you see how they ran?" Davis said, smirking. "I'm a genius."
"You're a dead man," Matthew replied. That was when they heard the click of angry heels behind them.
Ms. Spells wasn't lucky enough to catch the girls. She only met Davis and Matthew.
When the two men saw her, they froze. They quickly straightened their clothes and tried to look innocent.
Of course they knew who she was. She was the personal assistant of the mysterious Diana Levruff, and their boss's boss.
They were the ones sent to bring the cars here, to meet her, and to deliver them together to Madam Diana's son.
"What the hell is going on here?" Ms. Spells demanded. "Why were some street girls playing around the cars?"
Davis and Matthew began to shake and stammer. "We were not with them, ma'am!" Davis said quickly.
"We saw them taking pictures with the cars and rushed in to stop them," Matthew added.
Ms. Spells folded her arms. "I saw everything with my own eyes," she said.
"You were flirting with them and bragging that the cars belonged to you."
"No, ma'am, you must be mistaken," Davis tried. "It was just a misunderstanding."
She slapped Matthew across the face to shut him up. Then she took out her phone from her bag.
"I'm calling your boss," she said. "The CEO of Luxury Autos will be dealt with for this."
Both men dropped to their knees. "Please, ma'am, have mercy!" Davis cried.
"It was all Davis!" Matthew screamed, pointing at him. "I told him not to!"
At that point, Jimmy and his friends reached the cars. They stood there with their arms folded, enjoying the show like it was a movie.
Ms. Spells paused the call. "What did you just say?" she asked Matthew.
Davis tapped Matthew to shut his mouth. Ms. Spells slapped him too.
"Continue what you were saying," she told Davis.
"It was Matthew!" Davis said. "He's the one who wanted to flex with the cars and get new babes."
"That's a lie, you snake!" Matthew shouted. "You always flex, and I just stand there looking like a gorilla!"
"Shut up!" Davis snapped. "We do it together every time, and we were going to share the girls later!"
The parking lot went silent. Even the birds stopped chirping.
Davis realized what he had just said. Matthew closed his eyes and whispered, "You idiot."
Ms. Spells was furious. These fools were taking advantage of young, naive women, using the company's resources and influence to do it.
She snapped her fingers, and her personal security team stepped forward. "Beat them both," she ordered.
The men approached, as big as refrigerators. Davis and Matthew were shaking so badly that a puddle formed under their legs.
"This is your fault!" Matthew whispered. "You said it was a harmless game!"
"Stop talking," Davis whispered back. "You're making it worse!"
Just as the men grabbed them, Jimmy raised his hand. "Wait," he said.
Ms. Spells immediately ordered her men to stop. They froze in place, still holding Davis and Matthew by the collars.
Davis and Matthew were stunned. Why was a woman this powerful listening to a brat in a plain hoodie?
Jimmy and his friends burst out laughing. They couldn't hold it in anymore now that the fake billionaire had been exposed.
"Wait, is he even a billionaire?" Sabastein asked, wiping tears from his eyes.
"Brother, can't you see?" Jeffrey said. "The so-called Mr. Billionaire is just a con artist."
Davis, who still didn't know who Jimmy was, felt his pride rise. "Ma'am, please let me deal with these boys," he begged.
"They're mocking me. After that, you can do whatever you want with me."
"I will not go down like this, mocked by insignificant rats!"
Ms. Spells was shocked by his foolishness. Couldn't he think for one second and see who Jimmy was by now?
"Beat him for insulting my madam’s son!" she ordered her men.
Matthew's eyes widened. "Her what?" he whispered.
"They're nothing but peasants!" Davis insisted, still not getting it.
The men punched and slapped them both. Davis and Matthew yelped like two puppies.
Then Ms. Spells raised her hand. "Stop," she said. "I want them to hear this."
She turned to the two men on the ground. "This young man is Jimmy Levruff," she said. "He is the lost son of Madam Diana Levruff."
There was silence. Then both men fainted at the same time.
Jeffrey poked Davis with his foot. "Is he dead?" he asked.
"Not yet," Ms. Spells said. "But he will wish he was."
They had disrespected the very man they were sent to deliver the cars to. Worse, he and his friends had watched them pretend to be a billionaire to con some girls.
And worst of all, they had snatched Becky and Daniella from Jimmy's friends even if the boys were not interested.
Ms. Spells ordered her men to wake them up. They did it with hot slaps.
Both men jumped up screaming. "Mercy, Young Master! Please, have mercy!"
They threw themselves at Jimmy's feet. Davis cried so loudly that people in the parking lot turned to look.
Jimmy and his friends were dying of laughter. Jeffrey had to hold on to a car to stay on his feet.
"I have a yacht, two jets, and three mansions!" Sabastein mimicked in a deep voice. "Please, ladies, calm down; there's enough of me to go around!"
When the men finally recovered, Ms. Spells gave the order coldly. "Take them and throw them in jail for fraud."
"No, please!" Davis screamed. "Not jail!"
"Wait," Jimmy said again. "I think they can be of service to me first."
Ms. Spells nodded respectfully. "What do you want from these scumbags, Young Master?"
Jimmy looked at his friends. They all smiled the same wicked smile.
"We want them to be our drivers to the Chancellor's party tonight," Jimmy said. "And maybe even after tonight."
Ms. Spells understood the whole story at once. The fake billionaires, the two girls, the cars, the party.
She smiled slowly. It was brilliant, and it was proof that Jimmy was a true Levruff.
Jimmy imagined Becky and Daniella's faces tonight, when they saw their billionaire driving the Young Master's car.
Ms. Spells turned to Davis and Matthew. "You will do whatever Young Master Jimmy and his friends ask of you," she said.
"If you fail by one inch, you will regret ever being born."
Davis and Matthew nodded so fast that their heads almost fell off. "Yes, ma'am! Yes, Young Master!"
"Davis, are you sure you know how to drive?" Jeffrey teased. "Or do you only know how to flex?"
Jimmy looked at the man who had been Mr. Billionaire just minutes ago. "Tonight," he said with a smile, "you're going to drive me to the biggest show of your life."
