CHAPTER SIX; Amelia Pierce

It was never a fair fight in the first place.

Joints after joints were seperated like keys from padlocks. Ankles after ankles were broken like feeble sticks. Faces after faces were inflamed with pulverized arteries.

By the time the fight was over, a gore sight was left to behold and the horror on Peppers' face told the full story.

The cigraette he had puffed earlier with arrogance was nothing but dust. His rude confident demanor has receeded and what was left was a petrified kid.

He trembled, his knee buckling and his breath shaky as Idris' blue eyes finally laid on him. Idris dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out a handkerchief.

He gently cleans himself, moved to a car side view mirror and dressed his hair. Satisfied, he then flashed a cold menancing gaze on Peppers and that sent shievers down his spine.

Slowly, he sauntered towards him while he back stepped in a frantic mnanner.

"Please, don't kill me! I can give you anything you want!" He cried, his hands in the air as he dragges his body back until he met a barricade.

With nowhere to run to, he immediately closed his eyes.

He shuddered as Idris raises a fist to strike him, "Please, I can give you anything. My father is Julious Kane and he isssss ....!" He freezed but the hit never came hence he slowly opened his eyes only to see that Idris have stopped midway as if something struck him.

In miliseconds, alot of unanswered questions flooded Peppers' mind. It was like his brain was clouded with equations. 'Why did he stop all of a sudden?'

'Did he just spare me or could it be that I said something to scare him.'

Immediately, his face illuminated and the once receeded arrogance emerged, "Hoooohhhhh" He chuckles as he dangles his index finger towards Idris.

"You didn't know, did you?" He chuckled again as he stood up, then dusting himself, he stood with strutting arrogance.

"That my father is Julious Kane." He laughed confusing Idris' momentary refrain for fear of his father.

"You shouldn't be on your feet feighing tough now, would you?, If I were you I would be on my knees and plead for my life, who knows I might be magnanimous enough to spare you a foot."

Idris couldn't believe his audacity. "Like father like son, except that your father would beg for his life at the mention of my name." Peppers was taken aback my his claim. He didn't know whether to believe or not. Regardless, it didn't make sense that his father, the brutal dark lord of Lanor would bow to him.

"If I tell my father about this ridiculous claim of yours, he won't be forgiving like me. He will kill you and you family." He said, bringing out his cellphone and raising to the air.

"I would love to but you father and I have an unfinshed business. He owes me a life and I shall have it now."

Horror, once again flashed on his face as a kick from Idris to his neck breaks it, leaving him lifeless.

"You're avenged, Tanya" Idris mumbled solemnly and then carried the girl. "Damn it, you're too heavy for someone your size."

IN A  LAVISH HOTEL APARTMENT

"Puah! Puah!" Amelia coughed as she gradually regains consciousness. At a slow pace, she scanned the dark lit surrounding as she tries to readjust to the strange surrounding.

She immediately stood up to run on remembering what transpired before her blackout but found herself on the floor, alas, her right leg was chained.

"Ohhh! God." She writhes in pain as she gropes for an object to break the chain or unscrew it.

Just then, light rays illuminated what seemes like a condo, causing her to shield her eyes.

"No better time to be awake but dinner time." Idris entered with a warm smile that accentuated his good looks.

He dipped his hand inside the polyethylene bag and brought out a Mac Donald.

He stretched it towards Amelia, "Here" He said.

But she ignored him, just there, glaring at the stranger that held her captive.

"Eat my friend. You need energy after all those crazy dance moves back there." He persuaded, dangling the food before her.

Amelia didn't speak neither did she take the food item. She wasn't afraid rather she was brooding and skeptical.

Idris exhaled lightly, "Suit yourself then." Idris surrendered, tossing it in front of her right on the floor. He reclined on the sofa and started munching the his own burger.

"If you're going to kill me, you better do it now you have the chance." Amelia finally spoke.

Idris didn't spare her a glance rather he kept digging his food.

Amelia chuckled dryly, shooting muderous glare at him. She was obviously seething. "I think you might change you mind about all this if you know who I'm. Do you know who I'm?"

"It doesn't matter." Idris responded, projecting the empty sheets into the bin and it was an incredible throw.

"It doesn't until you hear it." She pressed unforgivingnly

"Go on then, I'm bored" He said, cuping his palms behind his head, then, crossing his leg.

"How dare you, how dare you mock a Pierce!" Amelia lashed out, clearly infuriated by his gestures and attitude.

Idris didn't flinch, his gaze projected to the roof.

"Can't you hear me, idiot!"

"Is that it, am still waiting for the introduction." He ribbed, finally sparing her some glances.

Amelia fumed, ready to pounce on him. Good riddance, she was chained.

"Ok, what do you want?" Idris asked, aware of her growing resentment.

"For starters, unlock this" she held out the chain for him.

"Why should I do that when it's clear you will run away the very moment you're free."

"I won't" she pouts her face, waving her head.

"I refuse to fall for that besides am not the enemy. Lets get some sleep, would you?" Idris raised the remote control to switch off the light but was stopped by Amelia.

"You will wish you freed me by tommorrow. Am sure my family are looking for me everywhere and..." Idris interupted by switching off the light.

"Aaaaaaah!!!! Fuck you!!" she yelled.

Few hours later, morning dawned on them. "Don't tell me now that I'm not getting a shower and a dress."

She sulked as Idris stepped out of the bathroom, dressed in a new suit. He looked impecable and handsome and that left Amelia having funny ideas about her captor.

"You should have thought about that before you headed to the party." He replied, approaching her with a key.

Amelia heaved a soft smile on sighting the key. "No funny moves" Idris warned and she gestures her index finger to the chain.

Idris unlocked the chain and grabbed her by her right hand. He then dragged her down, into the elevator and down the hotel were the manager and hostesses were waiting.

"Where are you taking me" she asked, trying to free herself from his grip but Idris ignored her.

She continued "You're not planning on moving me around in broad daylight, are you? Unless you intend to be caught."

"Someone should save me! Help me! He is a kidnapper!"  Amelia shouted at the sight of them, struggling to free herself from his grip.

"Good morning sir." The manager in his late forties bowed while the hostesses curtised

Amelia was stunned by the respectful gestures from the Manager and hostesses.

"Please! Save me" she turns towards the hostesses, "Help me girls. He is a pervert." They ignored her. It was as if she wasn't even there.

"It seems you did as I said, Mr Adler" Idris commented, scanning the hotel.

"Yes sir, we did. I emptied the hotel and closed immediately. And we will remain closed until you say otherwise." Mr Adler replied in an obsequious manner.

"No, no, I won't inconvinece you my friend. That's bad for business."

Amelia had to tap herself back to reality. She couldn't believe what unfolded before her. Barricades of thought coursed through her brain

'Who is this man?'

'Do this people work for him? Is he a mafia lord or something'

'Well, it certainly won't matter if he accidentally meets Ms. Blanche and her men. He would beg to die.' she thought to herself as they leave the hotel.

Still on his firm grip, right outside the hotel. She wanted to once again shout for help but changed her mind at the sight of four SUVs cruising to a halt a distance from them.

A warm genuine smile plastered her face. She didn't need a soothsayer to know that her army has arrived.

"You're a walking dead man, sir." She said with a gloating smile, staring at Idris' face who semmed unbothered.

Idris was calm as usual and that made her uncomfortable but it didn't matter to her for her army has arrived. She immediately squeezed free from his grip and ran towards Ms. Blanche and her team.

"My lady" Ms. Blanche breathed on sighting her.

"Sieze him! He is a kidnapper!" She ordered, pointing at Idris who pretty much was ambling towards them

Ms. Blanche and her men turned their gaze towards Idris. 'Finally, he gets to pay for everything.' Amelia thought to herself feeling satisfied.
