She stopped pacing and sat at the edge of her bed, still fuming, still burning inside. She knew she had to calm down before she said or did something she would regret.

But one thing was now clear—Jason had crossed a line. And Camilla wasn’t the type to sit and cry.

At that moment, without wasting any more time, Camilla grabbed her phone with a grip so tight her knuckles turned pale. Her jaw clenched, her brows drawn low in anger. She stared at her reflection for a second, her chest rising and falling rapidly. “I can’t just sit here like a fool,” she muttered bitterly. “I can’t keep whining and walking in circles like I don’t have a voice.”

She swiped through her phone angrily. Jason’s name glared back at her from the screen.

“Imagine. Just imagine,” she said to herself with a cold, sharp tone. “He took her to Pasumika Zoo. The same Pasumika Zoo that took me almost three months of planning to enter. He did all that for her—and now he can’t even pick my call?”
