In a non-existent space filled with darkness, Julian looked around in surprise as he couldn't understand how he had come here.
"Since you've appeared here, that means you have the qualifications to inherit my inheritance and experiences!"
A voice sounded and immediately Julian turned sharply looking for the source of the voice, but there was no one present.
"Who are you?" Julian yelled, his eyes searching around the void.
"I am the Greatest Marital Emperor of all time!" The voice echoed all around the void..
Julian was quite bewildered, the name was rather domineering, besides, he had never heard of anyone with that name, but before he could do anything, he was jolted awake.
"Arghhhh!" Julian screamed, holding his head as a lot of information suddenly poured into his mind. Medicine, and Martial arts.
After a while, the pain subsided and Julian looked around only to realize he was in the hospital.
As for how he got here he had no idea. After all, he had passed out due to the intense pain of having his limbs broken and being beaten up by Logan's guards.
Raising his hands, Julian realized his broken limbs had all been miraculously fixed.
"Seemed like that was not a dream," Julian muttered, closing his eyes to absorb the information in his mind.
After a while, Julian's eyes flashed open and a smile spread across his face.
Not only was he imbued with the knowledge of martial arts, there were also all kinds of ancient treatment methods in his mind.
All the lost techniques that were sought after were all in his mind completed.
Julian now knew the human body like the back of his hand and with just a glance, he could see through almost anyone's condition.
And with a flick of his finger, he would be able to treat them.
But that was not the terrifying thing. Above healing, he could also kill with his needles.
It seemed like medicine was far more than he had thought.
Taking in a huge breath, Julian sighed and sat up on the bed. There were no doctors in the ward at the moment, the only thing was the beeping machine monitoring his vitals.
Julian pulled away the wires and also the drip connected to his senses and stood up.
He was fine now, so there was no need to stay at the hospital. He still needed to change his clothes.
Also, he was going to get a divorce. He would have gotten it, but since he was beaten till he lost consciousness, there was not nothing he could do.
"Huh?" Julian suddenly froze touching his neck, noticing his necklace was not there.
Instantly, he began to search frantically for it, but it was nowhere to be found.
"Maybe it fell off when I was being rushed to the hospital," Julian muttered, having no other choice but to give up when he couldn't find the necklace.
Without thinking, he stepped out of the ward, preparing to leave the hospital when all of a sudden, he heard a yell.
"Doctors! Doctors!"
"There's an emergency at the Ward on the Third floor, your attention is needed!"
The loud yell of a nurse, running around, panic written all over her face as she ran around yelling for the doctors.
And surprisingly the moment she yelled, most of the doctors rushed out of their offices and headed towards the third floor.
Seeing this, Julian looked around and after giving it some thoughts also headed to the third floor.
He might as well take a look at what was happening. Now that he had medical knowledge, he could also try it out.
Though he knew this was impossible, Julian still went to the third floor.
Getting to the third floor, everywhere was silent. About five doctors all moved hurriedly towards a particular ward.
Seeing this, Julian followed quietly and soon got into the ward alongside the doctors.
Maybe perhaps, because everyone was in a panic, or maybe he was just being deliberately ignored, no one said anything.
Inside the ward was a bed, and laying on the bed was an old man who had an oxygen mask on.
A drip connected to his hands and then the machine monitoring his vitals which were going wild at the moment.
At the left side of the bed was a male figure in his early fifties standing beside the man and staring at the doctors as they did their jobs trying to stabilize the situation of the old man.
Julian, who was watching from a corner, shook his head. He has already seen through the condition of the old man and could tell the cause of his deteriorating health was because he was being given the wrong treatment.
But he had no place to take it. Even if he did, they wouldn't believe him, so he just kept watching.
After a while of trying to stabilize the old man's condition, the doctors stopped and shook their heads glancing at one other.
"Mr. Brown, I'm afraid we can't do anything this time," The oldest of the doctors who also seemed to be the leader stepped forward,
"We are sorry," he apologized.
The man on the other hand glanced at the group of doctors for a moment and after a while, he spoke,
"I'll give you ten million if you can keep my father alive for the next few days,"
"Sir, we are really sorry, but this is not something we can do," The doctor shook his head, trying to explain to the man.
"Twenty million!" Lucien offered instantly, not ready to listen to the Doctor.
"But..."
"Thirty million," Lucien directly cut off the man and increased the price.
"Mr. Brown, you should understand this is something money cannot solve, I hope you can start to prepare for the old man's funeral as soon as you can," The doctor Sighed, trying to advise Lucien.
Julian who was watching by the side had his jaw dropped to the floor. Thirty million just to keep the man alive for a few days? He could treat the old man, wouldn't that mean Lucien would double the money.
"Forty million," Lucien kept increasing the price as all he cared about was keeping his grandfather alive even if for a few days.
The doctors sighed in dismay. Though they were tempted, they were really helpless.
"Sir, please..."
"Hundred Million..." Lucien directly doubled the amount this time.
"Sir.."
"I can treat the old man," Julian, who couldn't take it anymore, interrupted the doctor and walked out of his hiding spot.

Julian drove the car out of Brittany’s family compound without saying much. The quiet hum of the engine filled the air between them as the gate slowly closed behind the vehicle. Unlike most of the times Brittany had seen him arrive, this time Julian had come alone and had chosen to drive himself. The car he brought was not one of the imposing luxury vehicles that often turned heads on the street. It was a modest salon car that blended easily with ordinary traffic, the sort of vehicle most people would barely look at twice.Brittany noticed it earlier but had said nothing. Now she sat in the passenger seat, occasionally glancing sideways at him. The night breeze drifted through the slightly lowered window, carrying the distant sounds of the city settling into its evening rhythm.“So,” she said after a few minutes, unable to suppress her curiosity any longer, “where exactly are we going?”Julian did not answer immediately. One hand rested calmly on the steering wheel while the other ta
Unusual attachments
Julian walked out of the house but Brittany ran after him and stoped him, slowly she was becoming fully dependent on him. “Julian wait,” she called after him and he waited a bit. “You have done a lot for not just me but my family too, yet you don’t accept any form of gratitude at all. Who are you really?” Her eyes were bright with gratitude and her lips trembled slightly. “I just do what I have to do,” Julian had equally grown a soft spot for Brittany so he found himself interfering with matters concerning her and her family just to see her happy.”No, you don’t know what you have just done for my aunt, if your prescription is accurate, you’d have restored decorum in my family as well as my aunt’s confidence.” As she spoke, her eyes glistened with unshed tears, her voice a little thick with emotions.Julian sighed, he wanted to continue the conversation but he didn’t feel her home was the best place for it. “Join me for a ride.” Julian said, his dominantly present confidence never

When Julian told the cab driver his destination, he didn't argue."Who is paying please?" The driver was polite but he had seen people like Julian several times, they claimed to hire cabs to sophisticated destinations just to feel among. To him, Julian looked to poorly dressed to afford a ride, he could have easily taken a rickshaw but he didn't openly berate Julian yet."I have entered your vehicle alone, how then are you asking me that?" Julian was a bit confused. "I thought you have been asked to show up at the location by someone and are hoping on payment from them since you decided to take a cab." The man looked at Julian again through the rear view mirror and concluded that he wasn't all that at all but the confidence that Julian exuded was the reason he was still being polite with him."I am going there in my own. I am paying my bill myself." Julian had decided to take a cab because he didn't have physical cash on him to take a rickshaw. It was not as though he was proud and t

Morning light filtered through the tall glass panels of the city hospital, casting long reflections across the polished floors. The atmosphere inside was tightly controlled, yet charged with anticipation. Security personnel monitored every entrance, and hospital staff moved with unusual precision. Word had spread far beyond medical circles. What had begun as a rumor was now an event.Julian entered the primary consultation wing without ceremony. His white coat was immaculate, sleeves resting neatly at his wrists. There was no theatrical presence in his stride, no attempt to amplify the tension that already hung in the air. Lucien walked half a step behind him, reviewing the schedule one final time.“All one hundred are confirmed and pre-screened,” Lucien said quietly. “Their case files are loaded into the system, but I assume you won’t need them.”Julian’s gaze remained forward. “Open the first room.”The first patient was a middle-aged man accompanied by two younger relatives who car
