The darkness of the early morning was still lingering, casting a faint shadow over Ravenshire village.
Lucien's peaceful sleep was disrupted by a loud knock on the door. "Lucien, come on! You can't be sleeping now, you have a thousand gold coins to make!" Xander, one of Drew's right hand men, boomed from outside. Lucien quickly got out of bed and bowed before his parents, who were seated in the living room. "Mother, Father, I must go now," he said, his voice filled with determination. His mother, Mrs. Rose Feng, felt a pang of pity for her son. "Go safely, I wish you the best," she said, her voice filled with concern. Just then, John Feng, Lucien's brother, spoke up. "Brother, I wish to come with you." But Lucien shook his head. "No, John. You focus on getting better, I must do this alone." Xander's voice called out again, "Where are you?" Lucien opened the door, and with a nod, said, "Here I am." He walked past Xander and Perry, another one of Drew's men, and headed towards his destination. Xander grinned, falling into step beside Lucien. "Where to now?" he asked, his curiosity piqued. "The Mystical Dragon City," Lucien replied, his eyes fixed on the horizon. "And what's the plan?" Xander pressed, his tone mixed with amusement. Lucien's expression remained stoic. "You'll see when we get there." Xander chuckled, a glint in his eye. "I like your courage, Lucien." As they set off on their journey on foot, the sun began to rise, casting a warm glow over the landscape. Ravenshire village was kilometers away from the high walls of Mystical Dragon City, and they had been walking for a while when Xander spotted a man approaching. The man, Uncle Jiro, seemed to be in a hurry, and his eyes widened in fear as he caught sight of Xander. He wished he could turn back, but it was too late. Xander's voice boomed out, "Oh, hey Uncle Jiro! Long time no see. You no longer visit us, what happened?" Uncle Jiro forced a smile, trying to hide his fear. "Oh, hey Xander. I've been a little bit busy lately, working multiple jobs to raise money." Xander's grin grew wider. "Oh, that's good to hear. Boss Drew said it's okay that you visit us even though you owe us, we won't bother if you visit us." Uncle Jiro nodded hastily. "Alright, uh... I'll come this weekend." But Xander's demeanor changed in an instant. He placed his hand on Uncle Jiro's shoulder, his voice taking on a sinister tone. "You know you are like a father to me, right?" he said, leading Uncle Jiro into the nearby bushes. Lucien's eyes narrowed, and he shook his head to himself. He hoped Xander wasn't about to do what he thought he was going to do to his own uncle. Moments later, Uncle Jiro's screams echoed from inside the bushes, followed by the sound of a slash, silencing him. Xander returned, his sword bloody, his expression unreadable. He glanced at Lucien, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "Lucien, I know you're just stalling time. Why don't you just say the word, and I'll put you out of your misery now? Or I could just put you out without your permission, and then I can go enjoy the rest of my day. I'll later inform Boss Drew by nightfall that you failed your quest." Xander took slow steps towards Lucien, his sword still gleaming in the morning light. Lucien gulped, his mind racing. "Give me three hours, maximum," he said, his voice firm. "I'll hand over the money to you." Xander paused, exchanging a glance with Perry, who was watching the scene unfold with amusement. Then, he nodded. "Alright, lead the way." Lucien took the front, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew he had to think fast if he was going to get out of this situation alive. Xander and Perry followed closely behind, their eyes fixed on him like hawks. The clock was ticking, and Lucien knew he had to complete his plan, and fast. Any errors now would be his end. An hour later, Lucien entered the grand gates of Mystical Dragon City, one of the eight cities in the Sun Kingdom. The city was bustling with activity, and Lucien's eyes scanned the streets as he made his way to the Chao Fibric Company. The company's building was imposing, with a grand entrance and a sign that read "Chao Fibric Company" in bold letters. This company belonged to the Chao Dynasty, a rival to the Zhang Company. Which also dealt in fabric but on a smaller scale as compared to the Zhang Company. Lucien's eyes gleamed with determination as he pushed open the doors and stepped inside. This was where he would get the thousand gold coins he needed, and more importantly, where he would exact his revenge on the Zhang family. As they entered, an employee approached Lucien, greeting him with a bow. "How may I assist you, sir?" he asked, his eyes scanning Lucien's simple attire. Lucien smiled, his confidence unwavering. "I have a game-changing business proposal that would make your company earn triple its annual revenue. I'd like to speak with your boss." The employee looked Lucien up and down, skepticism etched on his face. "What is this, a joke?" he asked, his tone filled with doubt. But before Lucien could respond, Xander stepped forward, his presence commanding attention. "I am Xander from the Iron Fist Guild," he said, his voice firm. "Please get your master here." The employee's demeanor changed instantly, and he bowed hastily. "Alright, sir," he said, before hurrying off to fetch his master. Moments later, he returned with a tall, imposing figure – Mr. Chao himself. Mr. Chao's eyes narrowed as he looked at Lucien. "What is this big business proposal you have for me?" he asked, his tone direct. Lucien got straight to the point. "I have a formula that can triple your earnings every year. I'm willing to sell it to you for two thousand gold coins." Mr. Chao's expression changed instantly, and he commanded his guards to throw Lucien outside. "My time is precious," he said, his voice cold. "I don't have time for schemes." Xander's face darkened, his anger evident. "Is this the business proposal you had in mind?" he asked, his voice low. "One thousand gold coins was already absurd, and now you ask for two thousand? I must have been stupid to bring you here. Seems like you have a death wish." But Lucien remained calm, a small smile playing on his lips. He took out a sparkling golden yellow piece of fabric and placed it on the table. "Mr. Chao, look at this piece of fabric, isn't this worth your time?," he said, his eyes gleaming with confidence. Mr. Chao's eyes widened as he took in the vibrant color of the fabric. "Impossible! What makes this fabric so yellow?" he asked, his curiosity piqued. Lucien's smile grew wider. "What makes the Zhang family so prosperous is their ability to make fabric this yellow, exclusive to the king and the emperor himself. Imagine if you presented this to the emperor, the Zhang family would be swept out of history, and the Chao family would become the wealthiest in The Mystical Dragon City." Mr. Chao's eyes filled with shock as he scrutinized the fabric once more. "But how can I be sure that you're the one who produced this fabric?" he asked, his voice mixed with skepticism. "You may have just found it somewhere and claimed you made it." Lucien's smile never changed. "Give me the raw materials, and I guarantee to make a fabric even better than this one you are holding, which I made yesterday night." Mr. Chao's expression changed, and he nodded. "Good, the whole backyard is yours. As long as you can produce this fabric again, proving that this formula is yours, I'll give you the two thousand gold coins for the formula, No bargain." Xander's eyes widened in astonishment, and he looked at Lucien with newfound respect. “You are beginning to surprise me, Lucien. I really hope you fulfill your claims.” Lucien just smiled, feeling confident. With the deal struck, Lucien was given the backyard and the raw materials. He requested to be left alone, and Mr. Chao agreed. Lucien's modern knowledge would come in handy, and he knew he could easily create a bright golden yellow color fabric, far superior to the pale yellows of this world. As Lucien set to work, the outcome was far from certain, but one thing was clear – Lucien's plan was unfolding perfectly, and his revenge against the Zhang family was within reach.

In The Chao Mansion, a group of three sat in a meeting. The head of the Chao family sat in stunned silence, his eyes wide with disbelief. "It's impossible, absolutely impossible," he muttered, shaking his head. "Lucien Feng is notorious for being worthless. Does the King's Mansion have no regard for their reputation?" Drew Pin Yin turned to Master Zhang, his brow furrowed with concern. "Did Lord King mention who the groom is when he suddenly sent out wedding invitations today?" The head of the Zhang family shook his head, his expression grim. "No, but it absolutely cannot be Lucien Feng. Even if the sun rose from the west, it wouldn't be possible." Drew Pin Yin's eyes narrowed. "I've received an invitation to the wedding tonight. I'll go and see for myself if the King's Mansion son-in-law is truly Lucien Feng. We better prepare in advance." He stood up, determination etched on his face. "I'll also go, though I don't have an invitation. The Mystical Turtle City King surely won't tu

Lucien entered the backyard of the Chao company again, where he started dyeing fabric with the purple formula. Leveraging his modern knowledge, he added a key ingredient that would surpass the Zang family's production.Meanwhile, the Zang family had already finished producing their fabric and were showcasing it to the officials and judges who had arrived. "Look at this beautiful purple fabric," Emma Zang said, holding up their finished product. "I'm sure it will be hard for Lucien to match this quality. If at all he knew anything about dyeing."The officials praised the Zang family's fabric. "This is indeed a beautiful piece of work. We are impressed by the quality and vibrancy of the color."Emma smiled, confident in her family's abilities. "Thank you, officials. "Verify this formula," he told his head staff.Thirty minutes later, the staff member returned with a new piece of fabric. "It's successful, sir.
