They walked straight to Antonio’s table and placed two bottles together with a golden luxury cup. The two luxury cups used to serve them are of high quality and only given to people of high prestige as it is worth one million dollars each.

Everyone of them was stunned wondering if they made a big mistake, how could they place such luxury in front of a peasant like Antonio.

Richard was the first to feel intimidated” do you want to scare him away or what, you definitely give the wrong person”

“that’s a ten million dollars wine, he can never afford that in his entire life” Jennifer added

“won’t you speak up and decline the mistaken order, don’t let pride send you to jail” Eden mocked

“just that luxury cup alone is enough to destroy you if you unwrap it” jasmine added

They all keep murmuring and taunting him.

But he wasn’t bothered.

The waiters bowed and left after asking him to contact them if he needed anything else.

Confusion fills the hall

Meghan turned to Antonio and whispered.” Dear, I told you we don’t need to do this, I don’t know what stunt this is but it is dangerous, this is original highly expensive wine and twenty million dollars worth”

Antonio crossed his hand around her arm” my dear, this is ours, you don’t have to worry about anything, it has been sorted. You trust me right?”

“yes I do but… this..”

“that’s all that matter, you can start drinking I will too”

Antonio help her uncorked the bottle and poured the drinks.

“What have you done! You want to get us in trouble!” Meghan exclaimed

Richard scuffed “he will only get himself into trouble, I will be here to witness his downfall”

“Go fund me won’t be able to safe this type of mess” jasmine added

Antonio keeps enjoying the luxurious wine with Meghan, he enjoys watching the spoiled kids confused with mixed feelings. Now they need to feel what real oppression looks like.

He purposely chose the most expensive wine on the menu, before coming to the reunion, he had made his assistant; Benjamin sort everything out.

Benjamin is a well-known wealthy and powerful public figure in Kingstonian, he has connections in the military as he oversees every military establishment in the city.

He was assigned as Antonio personal assistant on his return to Kingstonian and he was honored for the chance to work with the highly respected and powerful Antonio.

Many powerful figures always wanted to work with Benjamin, And John McDaniel; owner of globeview lounge where the reunion is taking place isn’t an exception. He was so happy when Benjamin personally called to inform him that an important guest will be visiting his lounge and he needs to treat him well.

The atmosphere was still cozy when Mr John Mcdaniel walked in. his expression was icy and cold until he turn to Antonio with a smile “hope you are enjoying yourself Ge…… hmmm..sir” he quickly corrected himself as he was warned that Antonio's identity as the general must not be revealed.

“Absolutely, your lounge is great I’ll recommend” Antonio reply kindly

The rest of the reunion crew were confused.”Why will the CEO of such a prestigious place be speaking with someone like Antonio?”

Richard as usual was quick to lead the charge “Mr John, why are you mistaken this peasant for an important person, he can never in his lifetime afford that drink he was served, your security should be on standby so he won’t run away.”

“yes he is a mere peasant”

“how dare you try to deceive us”

“you are in serious trouble”

“I think he has overstep because of peer pressure”

They all keep ranting until they see Mr John raise his hand up, gesturing for silence. “This drink here has been fully paid for and the luxury cup is on the house so Mr Antonio don’t have any problem, mind your language” he warned.

The tension in the room was palpable, hard to believe what they just heard.

“does that mean Antonio bought the drink”

“How come?”

“that’s a whopping twenty million dollars”

“just the cup alone is competing with the price of Richard’s drink”

Richard slams his hand on the table, the last statement hurting his ego. “enough! Mind what you say, we haven’t fully confirmed the authenticity yet”

“Yes, lowlife people like Antonio are fond of being a con artist to save their face, nothing they can’t do,” Jennifer added.

Mr John was about to leave but hearing their utterances, he halted his steps.

“It must be fake, this peasant team up with the owner to look relevant” Richard added

Mr Johnson takes a quick glance at Antonio with a gesture to get a go ahead in dealing with Richard.

“Do you mean globeview lounge, one of Kingstonian finest sells fake drinks?”

Richard knows he is crossing the line, Mr John is of high social status and any unverified claim towards him could lead to trouble. But he will do anything to feed his ego “yes, if not a peasant like this shouldn’t be drinking that easily”

Mr john rolled his eyes, veins popping out of his head, he has never gotten disrespected by a kid before and will definitely teach this one a lesson.

“What proof do you have that it is a fake?”

Richard is not ready to give in. “ I just know it is”

Mr John hasn’t seen an unnecessarily stubborn person before and can’t wait to deal with him.

Richard agreed to the consequences if his claim turned out to be wrong and with that Mr John has called the service of expert wine testers. And they arrive within fifteen minutes.

Two tests, an expert testing and machine testing to confirm it with world class data online and can’t be altered. They confirmed the authenticity of the wine.

Antonio unbothered and not tensed, Meghan sigh of relief and the rest of colleagues were shocked.

Richard started to stammer, finding words to save himself, but before he could think of anything Mr Johnson security approached him and gave him three resounding slaps.

“Don’t ever disrespect Mr John words again!”

“Don’t badmouth his business!”

Jennifer tried to defend him and there was a female security available to give her a resounding slap too.

The other colleagues went mute and bowed their heads.

Antonio laughs at how fast the table turns.

But right then, uproar echoed through the banquet hall “who dare to raise hand on heir to the Johnson’s family?”

Everybody turns back.
