CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED & SIXTY-NINE

As they drove through the city, Adam looked through the windows and observed the morning sun. Being in that blasted den, he hadn't seen the sunlight for a while and he was glad to see the little things that could be taken for granted.

The weather was beautiful, he thought to himself and the view was soothing, a beautiful way to calm his nerves after the wreck of the past few days. He was enjoying the peaceful drive and the serene weather.
