Throughout the night, Marco remained vigilant beside Rosa's bedside in Wilson Pharmacy's private treatment room. As the hours passed, he felt a strange energy coursing through his veins—the jade pendant's power was transforming him in ways beyond just medical knowledge.

The voice of his ancestor, Antonio Romano, whispered in his mind: "The Divine Skill awakens within you, descendant. Medicine, martial arts, and energy control—all shall be yours to command."

By dawn, Marco could feel his internal energy, his Qi, flowing like liquid fire through his meridians. His body felt lighter, stronger, more alive than ever before. He had somehow reached the third level of the Divine Skill overnight—a feat that should have taken years of cultivation.

Rosa stirred peacefully in her sleep, her breathing deep and healthy. Confident in her stability, Marco stepped outside to test his newfound abilities.

He picked up one of Vincent's silver acupuncture needles and examined it in the morning light. With casual ease, he flicked it toward a massive oak tree fifty feet away. The needle shot through the air like a bullet, embedding itself completely into the trunk with a sharp thud.

"Impossible," Marco whispered to himself, staring at his own hand in amazement.

His phone rang harshly, shattering the peaceful moment. Margaret Morrison's shrill voice assaulted his ears the moment he answered.

"Marco, you worthless piece of garbage! Where the hell are you?"

"Good morning, Mrs. Morrison," Marco replied, his voice carefully controlled. "I'm at—"

"I don't care where you are, you pathetic cockroach! Elena's flight lands in two hours, and you need to pick me up immediately so we can meet her at the airport!"

Marco's jaw tightened at the mention of his wife's name. "How is Rosa's condition not important to—"

"Rosa?" Margaret's laughter was vicious and cruel. "That dying old rat? Who cares about her condition? She should have croaked years ago and saved us all the trouble!"

"She's my mother, and she nearly died yesterday—"

"And she should have! Listen to me, you disgusting maggot—Elena is returning from her important business trip, and you will pick me up in exactly thirty minutes. I don't want to hear another word about your worthless mother!"

Marco's grip on the phone tightened, his newfound strength threatening to crush the device. "Where am I supposed to pick you up?"

"The Morrison estate, obviously! And don't you dare show up in some piece of junk. Elena deserves better than being embarrassed by her pathetic husband's poverty."

"I understand," Marco said through gritted teeth.

"You better! And clean yourself up—you probably smell like the garbage you are. I won't have Elena's reputation tarnished by your filthy appearance!"

The line went dead. Marco stared at the phone, his anger simmering beneath the surface. Elena's return would give him the chance to confront her about last night's betrayal.

As he turned to go back inside, Dr. Vincent Castellano emerged from the pharmacy with an enormous smile on his face.

"Marco, my friend! I've been looking for you everywhere!"

"Dr. Castellano, good morning. Is everything alright with my mother?"

"Rosa is perfect—sleeping peacefully and recovering beautifully. But I have incredible news!" Vincent's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Remember the Rejuvenating Pill you gave me?"

"Of course. What about it?"

Vincent grabbed Marco's shoulders enthusiastically. "I shared one with my boss, Anthony Wilson, the owner of Wilson Pharmacy. Marco, that pill's effects were absolutely extraordinary!"

"What happened?"

"The moment Anthony witnessed the pill's incredible healing properties, he was amazed by the advanced medical knowledge behind it!" Vincent's voice trembled with emotion. "He was so impressed by your skills and wanted to show his respect for such legendary medicine that he transferred forty-five percent of Wilson Pharmacy's shares to me as a reward for discovering such talent!"

Marco raised an eyebrow. "Forty-five percent?"

"I'm now worth over two billion dollars, Marco! All because Anthony recognized the incredible value of your medical expertise!" Vincent bowed deeply. "He wants to build a strong relationship with you and show his appreciation for such rare talent!"

"Dr. Castellano, that's wonderful news, but I need to ask a favor—"

"Anything! Name it!"

"Could Rosa stay here for a few more days? I want to ensure her complete recovery, and I trust your care more than any hospital."

Vincent waved his hand dismissively. "Of course! She can stay as long as needed! I'll personally supervise her care and assign my best staff to watch over her twenty-four hours a day!"

"Thank you. I'm truly grateful."

"Wait, there's more!" Vincent's excitement was infectious. "Where are you going? You look like you're preparing to leave."

Marco's expression darkened. "I need to pick up my mother-in-law and meet my wife at the airport."

"In what? You don't have a car, do you?" Vincent studied Marco's face. "And from your expression, this isn't a happy reunion."

"It's... complicated."

Vincent's face lit up with an idea. "I have the perfect solution! Wait here!"

He disappeared into the pharmacy and returned minutes later with a set of keys and official-looking documents.

"Take this," Vincent said, pressing the keys into Marco's hand. "It's a Bentley Continental—fully loaded, worth half a million dollars."

Marco stared at the keys. "I can't accept such an expensive—"

"You can and you will! But more importantly, look at this." Vincent showed him a special permit with golden seals. "This is an elite government permit. Only the most powerful families in the country have access to these. It grants immunity from traffic stops, access to restricted areas, and commands immediate respect from officials."

"How did you get this?"

Vincent smiled mysteriously. "Anthony Wilson has connections in very high places. He's so eager to build trust and loyalty with someone of your caliber that he insisted I give this to you as a gesture of respect and partnership."

Marco examined the permit carefully. The craftsmanship was extraordinary, with intricate seals and signatures that screamed authority and power.

"This permit alone is worth more than most people's houses," Vincent explained. "With this, you're not just driving a luxury car—you're announcing that you have the backing of the country's elite."

Marco felt the jade pendant pulse against his chest, as if approving of this turn of fortune. "Vincent, I don't know how to thank you."

"You already have! Your incredible medical skills impressed Anthony so much that he made me a billionaire just for bringing you to his attention. This is our way of showing respect and building a strong partnership with you."

Marco pocketed the keys and permit. "I should go. The Morrison family doesn't like to be kept waiting."

"I refuse to discuss financial matters with a pathetic worm like you!""Answer him," Sal commanded, his voice carrying dangerous undertones.Lorenzo straightened his expensive suit. "He's young, handsome, wealthy beyond measure—everything a woman could want in a husband!"Elena remained silent, staring out the window as Marco parked the car."Think about it," Margaret continued. "His family owns half the city's real estate! His connections could restore our family's status overnight!""Mother, please," Elena said wearily. "I'm exhausted.""Exhausted from what? Margaret's mouth opened and closed like a fish gasping for air, while Tony's expensive sunglasses hung loosely on his nose."This... this can't be real," Margaret stammered, walking around the luxury vehicle. "You pathetic cockroach, how did you get your filthy hands on a car like this?"Marco opened the passenger door calmly. "I borrowed it from a friend.""A friend?" Patrick's voice cracked with disbelief. "What kind of friend loans out a half-million-dollar car to a worthless maggot like you?"Tony stepped closer, his earlier swagger completely deflated. "There's no way this is legitimate. You probably stole it, didn't you? Or maybe you're working for some criminal organization now.""The only criminal here is your stupidity, Tony," Marco replied coolly, gesturing toward the open door. "Shall we go? When Elena's grandfather fell ill, her uncle Thomas had convinced Patrick Morrison that marrying off Elena would "ward off the family's bad luck."
