" It seems she is awake" Bella screamed in excitement
Bella Conner her secretary shouted to the bodyguards outside gesturing them to reach out to the health attendant.
The nurses rushed into the room along with the hospital's director and two doctors.
Selena stared intently at the ceiling,she wasn't just treated like any other patient.
She was Zillow Jade 's CEO so she had the best service of the hospital rendered to her.
Being adopted by Peter and Camela Hale turned her life meaningful.

The first seven years of her life was so miserable that she wished she wasn't born not until her mother stabbed her father under the influence of alcohol.

Selena managed to blink which was rewarded with excitement from the others in the room

Selena found it difficult to mouth her mind but she was a fighter so she put all her strength into talking

Doctor Brian smiled pleasantly,he knew she just survived another few weeks.
The worst is yet to be over but she could survive a little longer
" Miss Bella,if you will excuse us,we need to run a few more tests on her" Doctor Brian said
"W-where i-is Ryann?" Selena said in what seems like a whisper
" I feel hurt Sel, you didn't even notice my presence,well your brother refused to show up " Bella said pouting
Selena smiled,Bella her best friend and personal assistant has always been her strong support through the turbulence of life.
Bella was the only one aware of her deteriorating health apart from her doctor.
Selena raised her hand trying to reach out to her confident and Bella on the other hand quickly moved closer to her and held gently the hand she raised
" You scared me Sel, I was so miserable, please don't scare me off like that again" Bella busted into uncontrollable tears.
"I am sorry" Selena said softly
"Miss Conner, please we need --" Doctor Brian started
" I am sorry doctor,I got carried away " Bella interjected and hastily got up.
Dropped Selena's fragile hand by her side and walked out of the VIP room tears streaking from her eyes.
Bella walked straight to the lobby,she brought out a mirror from her Louis Vuitton bag .
She applied her red lipstick, dabbed her face with more foundation powder to hide the blemishes her tears had caused her initial makeup
She brought out a cigarette and lighter,puffed a smoke into the air.
"Bitch" Bella muttered cursing under her breath
A tubby woman in her fifties who passed by her gave her a weird look as she thought she was referring to her.
" I wasn't talking about you hag" Bella eyed her with disdain
Her phone chimed and she called back instantly,the receiver picked up almost immediately
" She is awake" Bella said
The receiver heaved a sigh of relief
" How long do you think she has?" the receiver blurted
" Not long I guess,we need to move faster " Bella said hurriedly
" I guess step C should be scrapped now that she has found the real Hale heir" the receiver said sadly
"I understand " Bella said dangerously
"What is Ryan Hale like?" the receiver asked curiously
" Don't know,I haven't met him, I have been sitting put by the fox but I hope he is also foolish,it will make it all easier" Bella said with enthusiasm
" Meet him and gain his trust fast, we are running out of time " the receiver urged
" What about the fox?" Bella asked
" Keep your cover smartly ,we are almost there" a deeper male voice responded
"Didn't know you were there too" Bella said with surprise
"Yes" he simply said
"hang in there daughter" the female receiver said and cut off the call
Bella rolled her eyes inwardly,she knew nobody truly cares about her.
She has always been a weapon to all Selena Hale inclusive.
" I find you attractive Bella" Selena said softly
Bella was surprised, she hadn't dared imagine Selena 's bisexual trait.
She found her attractive too but she hadn't dared bring it up also the mission comes first
"I a-am sooo ---"Bella stuttered playing the damsel in distress
" It is okay Bel, I do not need a response right away,take your time munching over it" Selena said softly
Bella smiled uncomfortably and gulped down a cup of liquor she was holding, this wasn't part of the mission.
Scanning through that memory almost weakened her resolve.

She was about rolling down when a powerful muscular hand grabbed her and yanked her backward to hold her balance.
She looked into the dark brow and was memorized by it
" Thank you Mr---" Bella muttered shamefaced to the attractive stranger
" Call me Leonard" the stranger said holding out his hand
