How did the scar happen?" Wyatt's brows narrowed as his mind processed the scene, but it meant nothing to his memory.
"Is he really my future version? If he is... why did he come to this period, not before my memory got wiped? Why does my memory get wiped? What was the reason behind it? " He questioned himself in a low murmur as he slipped his hand into the parcel again and pulled out another paper and unfolded it with a crumpled paper.
"I hope you read the previous paper.
This is your evidence; it will make sense by tomorrow evening.
Just follow my instructions and wake up tomorrow at sharp 7:00. Get ready in a normal suit or your favorite dress. This is my first thing; now place the paper on your table and take a peaceful nap... I can guide you tomorrow... Don't get freaked, and you must read this tomorrow, not today..."
"This guy is ordering even on this tiny paper..." Wyatt wondered as an annoying smirk appeared. He placed the paper and cards on a nearby table and lay on the bed, spreading his shoulder, a relieved, gentle smile on his face, as if focusing on the sparkling dots on the ceiling; he gently breathed in and out to clear the fog in his mind. "He thinks I do everything, he says..." Wyatt whispered as he closed his eyes tightly and wrapped the soft bedsheet around him.
Meanwhile, on a peaceful night, a tree was planted in an orderly manner near the big wall, a grand modern mansion surrounded by a robust security system. The guards and robots, clad in black coats, remained vigilant, their sharp eyes scanning the surroundings with the focus of soldiers on duty. Humanoid robots resemble humans and are carefully inspecting the area. They watched every move to ensure everyone's safety.
Inside, in a huge hallway with modern architecture. "Ryan... Hear me out!!!" A low-slung word came from Arthur's son, Ewan Huxley. His head was down, and his legs were swaying like a newborn colt, unsteady and unsure. The bodyguard, dressed in a black suit, was holding his waist to steady him as he struggled to walk Ewan into his room.
"Yes, Sir... I can, but you are not in the right state... We can discuss this morning! " The bodyguard, Ryan, replied as he tightly gripped Ewan's body and carefully made a way and walked with him.
"You guys!!!! Questioning your boss?" He yelled in a low, husky voice. And stride straight as adamant not to take another step.
Finally, after a few struggles, Ryan managed to lay Ewan gently down on his luxurious, comfortable automatic bed with a wooden frame. As Ryan removed Ewan's shoes and adjusted his crumpled shirt, he wrapped the bed sheet around him and turned on the heater to warm the room. A small smile appeared on Ryan's lips as he watched Ewan's handsome face look like a bright, colourful rainbow flashed in the sky after rain. You truly transition from day to night, dude! But to be honest, I really enjoy your playful side; it adds a lot of fun to our conversations, he thought.
"Sorry, Ewan... We can talk about it tomorrow..." he said in a low, humble voice, as he was ready to take another step forward to leave.
A huge Ewan's hand hugged and pulled Ryan's hand; in the force, he lost his grip, and he fell over Ewan, but he managed to brace himself, leaving a thread of space between them. Ryan's eyes widened in shock, his lips hovering mere millimetres from Ewan's. A hot breath hissed from Ryan's nostrils quickly. His heart blasted against his ribs like a trapped bird, desperate to escape its cage.
"You too, Brutus..." Ewan murmured. Without any effort, Ryan lifted his body from Ewan and leaned near him.
"You're also avoiding me, my friend. Just hear me out..." Ewan's grey eyes opened like a cloud opening for the sun, and his gaze lifted upwards, watching Ryan's face. His tone was pleased as he sat up against the pillow and tried to open his eyelids to look straight.
I know what he's going to talk about, the same shit... the same wailing over her... Ryan thought as he sat at the edge of the bed, his gaze fixed on Ewan, to hear him. "Okay, tell me?" he asked, his tone concerned.
"Have you found Astrid?" Ewan asked, his voice low and concerned about the person. "How long does it take to find somebody in this advanced technology?" He gently took Ryan's hands, and his eyes roamed here and there. "You know how much I loved her... but why can no one understand my feelings? She's literally my oxygen; I need her...." His voice was trapped, and repeating words lingered on his lips.
"Ewan! Stop this bullshit! You're just hurting yourself... We can't find her in the 7 billion people with aligned names. You just let it go... It's been three years. Even if you find her, she can't even recognise you. You know that, right? Already her memories were erased. Just understand the system, bro... more than 100 people were working under this mission to find her..." Ryan explained his points, and there was a small lie in his tone.
"How long will it take before that a*s*hole finds her!!! He's going to hurt her again. She's never going to bear that much painful experience again...." Ewan murmured as his eyelid half closed, as his shoulder comfortably lay on Ewan's chest.
Ryan took a deep breath, and he swallowed hard with guilt as he looked down at the floor. His mind was flooded with thoughts about the past.
Three years ago, Ryan sat in his car, secretly watching Astrid from a few meters away. At the normal coffee restaurant, at sunset, the sky was painted with bright purple and orange-yellow colours. People are rushing to walk on the pathway, and a man with a white shirt tries to grab Astrid's hand. "Bunny... Astrid, I can explain... That's a mistake..." he shouted at the rush to the entrance of the shop.
Astrid stopped and turned back; her face was pink and tear-stained. "Do you think I am going to trust you again... after all those things? her voice was trembling with pain, while talking automatically, tears welled up like rain falling in heavy clouds.
"Sorry... Astrid, please give me a chance; I'm never going to break your heart again...." he begged, his step forward trying to hug her.
"No... Aldric... I can't do this anymore... We are done...." She stepped two steps and turned Aldric's side, "I am literally tired of this shit!" A last painful smile forcibly appeared on her lips. "Goodbye!" she murmured, without turning back, wiping her tears, and she ran towards the four-way road.
Inside the car, Ryan watched everything from a few meters away. Suddenly, his eyes widened in shock as a vehicle raced toward her from the opposite side of the road. "Stop!!!!!!!!!" he screamed. At that moment, Astrid was wiping her tears and didn't see the car as she crossed the street absently.
Within a nanosecond, a big thud
"THUD!!!!" silenced the entire crowd, including Aldric.
Ryan's heart skipped a beat; he just froze for a second like a stone. Even he forgot to blink his eyes; his mind still couldn't process the just-now incident.
"Gerre..." A phone vibrating on the passenger seat brings him back to reality. The display shows Ewan's name on the screen. After realising the accident, without attending a phone call, he immediately opened the car door and ran over to the accident scene.
His breath hitched, watching Astrid's body covered with blood; heavy blood from her head flowed down on the road, and her dress was fully drenched in the bloodstain. "Fuck! How can I explain this to Ewan...?" His mind reeled at the bitter past.
"Ryan! Ryan!" A low murmur from Ewan makes Ryan pull back to the present. Watching Ewan's face, Sorry, man! If you know the truth... It must be killing you, but you have loved her so much, but she's not anymore… he thought, and a betrayal with guiltiness hunting on his face was visible, and without wasting a second, he left the room.
The next day.
The dimly lit room changed to a bright sunrise, and the deep morning alarm sound broke the silence. The warm, capsule vitamin E flowed into the small window. The eyes fluttered open, landing on the timer. "Today my work is off... right! But... why did I set the alarm...?" Wyatt mumbled in a sleepy tone as his hand wrapped the bedsheet tightly around him, trying to pull, but the edge snagged.
"Shit!" he muttered, half-sitting on the bed. His eyes landed on the sofa beside him, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw Calloway simply sitting with a proud smile on his lips and his blue eyes fixed on Wyatt's every movement and openly admiring him.

He watched Astrid curled up on the bed like a baby in the womb.He watched to see whether Astrid was sleeping or not. Meanwhile, Dominion 0. The bitter, hateful atmosphere gave way to a cold, serious, vast, dim conference room. The only soft blue light comes from the central holographic projector.Arthur, Xavier, officers and the most intelligent hackers were seated at the long glass table."Our operation is decoding the data... CHAPTER 66: I'll make you cry!
Ewan placed the final dishes on the vast, polished dining table, which looked perfect, as if a professional chef had set it. He slowly removed his apron and gloves, folding them neatly. His palm was wrapped in a cotton bandage, but he carried a calm, wide smile and then slid into the chair opposite Astrid, whose face was etched with raw, fierce tension, her brows heavily furrowed in thoughts and sadness, and her gaze absent. Both Ewan's and Astrid's minds were still reeling from the past twenty-four hours. Yesterday, Astrid stepped off the private plane; her eagerness and serene face shattered into dullness. Her heart hammered a frantic rhythm as her gaze widened, watching around the massive, all-facilities villa, a fortress built of classic black stone offset by dramatic gold and white lighting. She glanced at every inch of the place until the sky ended; the entire estate was enveloped by a dense, towering forest, giving the impression of being lost deep within the A****n. The huge

Wyatt "What does he look like?" Wyatt asked, keeping a phone in front of the car and shifted to the earphones. He started the engine, and without waiting another second, the matte black bullet car gleamed under the streetlights and sped forward. He gripped the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles turning pink. The speedometer needle hit its maximum. The engine's furious roar was familiar, matching the pounding in his chest. Without obeying any law or any traffic. The roadside auto alarm beeped, sensing the high speed and displaying his car number and model on the screen, but Wyatt seemed he ignore every traffic law. His icy stare was fixed on the road, and his mind was just focused on Astrid's house."He was wearing a black, oversized hoodie and a mask. He was definitely above six feet tall," Astrid detailed, her voice thin and breath hitched and static-laced through the phone, betraying her fear."Astrid... I'll be there soon.
