CHARACTERS::
I hope you can take away some memorable characters from this novel. If I had to pick a favorite character, it would be Ulmer for me. The poor guy has just been through so much in his life, and the spirit system really changed his life for the better, and you know how. I also like Ayana and would love to explore more of her character, but she’s only 19, and I couldn’t find much more scope for her in the plot. But I’m decently satisfied with how she fared so far.
But I wonder if women like her do exist or not. If you kiss them, will they ask you to marry them?
If they do exist, I doubt they’ll behave as softly and cutely as Ayana did.
What about you? Is there any character that pleased or upset you the most? Please don’t tell me it was Ivy, or is she?

What happened to Mirianne and Rever’s relationship?
Unfortunately, Mirianne gets married to Vincent in a political marriage, as pushed by Edward and Regina.
Rever Freyger quits being a knight and ends up joining the Swifter squad after meeting them at a local bar and clashing swords with them. He receives an invite from the boss, and he accepts.
What about Abbie Frankfurt? You’ve already seen what happens with her. If you are interested in knowing more about her, she’ll play a twisted role in my novel Return of Don Denver, which is my most recent one. You can read it if you’re interested.
WHAT IS UP WITH THIS NOVEL?
An honest relationship lasts a lifetime. A dishonest relationship crumbles with every disturbance.
The above statement certainly sounds true, but that’s not what this novel is quite about. It’s more about a young man who suffers a major setback in life and then sets out on a vengeful path, but then a young lady enters his life and changes his life for the better.
Ayana’s role might not seem that big to many readers… But just imagine how Ulmer would have been if she wasn’t in the novel?
Ulmer would have probably caused a lot of disturbance in Syslon and would have gone through hell and high water to destroy Minerva. In that process, his heart might have grown cold as the depths of the abyss.
So, guys, don’t underestimate the importance of someone in your life. They may seem insignificant now, but they might become your biggest support in your darkest hours.
None of us know what tomorrow holds for us, so don’t treat anyone lightly.
Ulmer probably wouldn’t have risen to the Urban God without Ayana taking some space in his heart.

Ulmer’s character doesn’t appear in the beginning. He doesn’t play that long of a role, either, but his role is important to that novel’s protagonist at a crucial time. If you’re interested, give it a try. You can learn about what happens to Syslon in the future, too, and how Ulmer comes down from the throne. A new unexpected guy becomes the new emperor.
