I stared frozen in horror as my little son was yelped away from his aunt Margaret like some animal by my mother-in-law—the witch who had always despised me for reasons I couldn’t quite understand and trust me... At this point, I hate her too.Mind you... Margereth is my grannys sister.
"Marisa, stop this please!" I growled in furry as I rushed towards Margaret before pulling Madam "Spoisens" My mother-in-law’s hand off as I tried to save my son from her cruel grip. "Pow!" The slap from my mother-in-law landed hard across my face sending me stumbling to the side and in the same breath she lashed a whip at Margaret... whom I also called Grandma. Mrs. Margaret stared at me, bewildered and exhausted as the pain and confusion rested in. "If you dare touch her again!" I swore, provoked to the call that my mother in-law couldn't even see that my son was getting traumatised. "Oh really? This sewage dog thinks he can talk back to me? Look at you… An ex-convict, a loser for life!" She asked with evil in her eyes. "I will end your life, that of your Grandmothers and use my money to bury you all after I have silenced the police, do you think you would be my firsts?" She threatened back. "Wait... If I recall, you worked for me?" Gerald Usher, walks out from my wife's back asking me a stupid question like I even cared. Gerald Usher was a Billionaire, known for imports and Exports in the state and many People feared him... I have even cleaned his company's sewage pipeline before and as much as I hoped he wouldn't recognize me at this point... He rubbed in the shame, preying on my bad situation. "Yes! That's him!" My wife pointed at me. The way she looked at me… Irritated. "Your husband used to be my sewage man?" Gerald asked as he walked towards me. He looked at me head to toe. “I wasn't wrong to imprison you while I had your wife all to myself then.” He got on my nerves again, after forcing my wife to cheat on our marriage years ago, now he has brainwashed her. "Are you serious! Is that what you did for a living and you have the guts to challenge us?" My wife acted as though she had no idea what I did for a living, her behaviour was unexpected. "Richard, Midsee is shaking." My grandmother's sister said with her body reddened with whips all over, why did they beat her this much. "Get him water... Marisa, what's the meaning of all this? You know what I do for a living, I loved you so much and anticipated getting to see you again, this man lied and used his money to keep me in jail, what's this about?" I asked in pain. "Dad!" Midsee called me. "Yes!" I replied to my eight year old son who was literally shaking, seeming tensed up. "Me and Great Granny's sister found mum and this man..." Midsee said in tears before Mrs. Margaret, My Granny's sister interrupted. "Say no more! Here's your water, I added sugar and salt." She corrected as she swerved Midsee to a corner before she turned back with a reddened eye looking right into my eyes. "Do you really want to know what happened?" She asked me and I nodded a Yes to her before she took Midsee's phone and played a video where I saw My wife and Mr. Gerald making love on our matrimonial bed and that is when my blood began to vibrate in shock and Pain all over again. Aside from his last affair with my wife, kissing before… Now he has taken it to another level. "Midsee recorded this?" I asked, not believing my son will have the guts to endure it. "Yes! Then madam Spoisens came to whip him and so I had to protect him." My grandmother's sister said as she bursted out into tears. "Richard, let me explain?..." My wife added before she gets interrupted by Mrs. Spoisens. "Oh my daughter... Don't you dare try to apologise to this lowly maggot caretaker, you cheated on him with a Billionaire you now love over the matrimonial bed that you probably bought! How about you tell this low life that you no longer want this trash called a marriage already!?" Madam Spoisens growled at Marisa who looked at me. Marisa… Does not love me anymore? So this wicked devil of a mother-in-law hurt my son and went ahead to even whip my grandmother's visiting sister, over a woman who opens her private parts for money? Are they mad? "Listen!" Mrs. Margaret cleaned her tears. "Midsee went to your room to make a dance video but as soon as he mounted his phone and clicked record, Marisa came in with this man and all that you can see in the video happened, I questioned her for cheating on you and she called her mother here to beat me." Mrs. Margaret summarised in pain before she carried Midsee and left the place with Midsee crying as well. "How could you Marisa! In our room? On our own matrimonial bed, is it some pornstar video you guys were making!?" I said in rage as I approached her only for Mr. Gerald to stand in her front to challenge my authority. HAa! It's like someone wants to Vanish! In my own home? "Mr. Gerald, who do you think you are to come into my house and sleep with my wife before my son? How dare you disrespect my home!?" I fired at him holding my pain as he walked towards me and spat over my face and that killed the little respect I had left for him. I wouldn't let that slide! I don't give two deaths - Who the hell He is! "Poom!" I slammed a hand death punch to his face, trying to free my heart from my wife cheating on me with this idiot, his bodyguards rushed for me but I swiftly tackled them too. "Oh my God! Security!!" Madam Spoisens yelled on top of her voice. "That is it! I want a divorce! Get out of my house! I made a right choice in moving on!" Marisa slams the supposed divorce papers into my chests as the security men dragged me downstairs where I noticed my grandmother shaking Midsee vigorously over the floor. "Throw them out!" Marisa ordered. "Including your son?" The guard asked. "Yes! Let them all go and suffer!" She added. "Wait... Bring him! Give me that whip, I will make sure you face my wrath all over again! You will learn it the rough way this time." Mr. Gerald collected the whip, lashing it over my face before the kind security men dragged me out with mrs. Margaret who kept screaming to my name as she held Midsee to herself. We were thrown out of the Mansion. "Richard! Midsee!" My grandma yelled for me. "Yes!" I answered managing to get up from the ground as I Lept towards her with the divorce papers dipped into my pockets. "Midsee! He isn't breathing." She replied as I quickly carried Midsee up, realising he had a bleeding vein around his neck which had soaked his entire white shirt. "He's bleeding!" I answered. "Quick! To the hospital!" Mrs. Margaret yelled as I gathered all my energy, lifting her up. "Can we enter now?" Mr. Bennet’s voice crackled through the earpiece. "Yes!" I responded with my body trembling, haunted by the memory of losing my daughter. The thought of losing another child was unbearable. No! Please God, spare him for me!
