Thoom!!!
Shen Wuyin vanished beneath the southern sea, sending a towering plume of water soaring into the air.
His body sank through the ocean's depths, descending farther into the deep. The moonlight above gradually faded into pitch-black darkness. The ocean’s pressure bore down on him, splitting his skin.
The ocean's depth was equivalent to the height of mount Runyu.
“I... can't die,” he muttered within his soul.
The dark veins marring his skin thickened with every passing second, spreading across his body until they covered nearly every inch of his flesh.
“The Guixin beast can't end me like this. Not when I finally have the chance to live again.”
He struggled to move his arms and legs, desperately trying to swim back toward the surface, but his limbs remained stiff and unyielding.
The poison had completely paralyzed his body.
The harder he fought for control over his limbs, the deeper he sank.
The Guixin Beast's poison was designed to transfigure mortal souls into grotesque beasts of many kinds.
Although Shen Wuyin had reincarnated into a mortal body, his soul remained that of a God King. Unable to corrupt such a divine soul, the Guixin Beast's poison was forced to unleash its full effects upon Yun Li's body instead.
As the coldness of the deep settled within him, a fragment of memory from his previous life surfaced in his mind.
“The Samsara Dispelling Art.”
Just like the Samsara Reversal Technique, It was also one of the techniques he had created in his previous life. The technique was widely used by Alchemists across regions to dispel poisons and portion from the body.
When his body finally struck the ocean floor, he slowly began drawing qi from the surrounding waters, guiding it carefully through his meridians and wrapping it around his limbs.
Bubbles escaped from his mouth, drifting upward as he began reciting the Samsara Dispelling Art spell.
Moments later, the water surrounding him began to swirl turbulently, before forming into a perfect sphere and enclosing him completely.
His body rose from the ocean floor and floated within the sphere of water.
“Now I need to perform the technique,” he muttered.
Slowly, he raised his hands before his face.
He folded his pinky and ring fingers inward while pressing his middle finger, index finger, and thumb together in a precise seal.
“Reverse.”
A stream of bubbles escaped his lips as the word left his mouth.
Suddenly, a brilliant silver light erupted throughout the sphere.
The dark veins across his skin began vibrating violently.
Thin cracks on his skin widened into jagged gaps. Dark crimson liquid seeped from the cracks and flowed into the water sphere.
Pain seared through Shen Wuyin, forcing a sharp hiss between his teeth.
The cracks widened with every breath he drew, wracking his body with unbearable pain.
His fingers trembled uncontrollably. A muscle twitched in his cheek as he fought to maintain the hand seal.
The strain grew heavier as the poison seeped out from his meridians.
“Ah…” A raw groan broke free from his clenched teeth.
At once, the silver light filling the sphere surged toward him with a deafening crack.
Despite the pressure pressing against him from all sides and the sickening pull within him, he moved his feet slowly, shifting into a crane stance.
The vibrations within the dark veins intensified.
The poison began flowing outward in thin streams, leaving his body and dispersing into the sphere while silver light continued flooding into him.
His heart pounded violently against his chest.
An invisible weight settled over him, crushing down on every muscle and bone.
“Ahhh!”
He shut his eyes, pressing his lips into a thin line as he fought to endure the agony.
The dark veins around his eyes began draining into the sphere, a sharp agony ripped through his eye sockets.
Dark blood streaked from the corners of his eyes down his cheek.
“How long will this take?” he snapped.
The moment the words left his mouth, his legs nearly gave out beneath him.
A sizzling crack echoed through his ribs and spine.
Far above him, the ocean surface began glowing faintly.
Massive waves roared across the ocean. The surrounding waters churned with increasing ferocity.
After what felt like an eternity,
The dispelling art was complete and the poison was successfully extracted.
The silver sphere pulled Shen Wuyin to the shore.
“Daylight already?” Shen Wuyin muttered.
The sun hung high in the center of the sky, casting its brilliant rays across the land.
A vast valley stretched before him.
The soil glowed beneath the scorching sunlight, shimmering with heat.
Then he realised……
“The Spirit Jade Crystal,” he whispered.
His hands immediately shot into his pockets, his fingers searching frantically through the fabric.
“Aaha.”
A sheepish grin spread across his lips the moment he felt the familiar object resting beneath his fingertips.
“Those fools actually thought I gave them the Spirit Jade?” He scoffed, taking two steps forward.
To the five cultivators, they possessed the Spirit Jade Crystal, unknown to them, what they took from Shen Wuyin was the eye of the Guixin Beast.
“High grade fools!” His lips curled into a smirk.
The instant he took a step, a sickening crack echoed from within his bones.
“This body has a lot more training to undergo,” he whimpered.
Tilting his head from side to side, he continued forward while his joints protested with every movement.
As Shen Wuyin walked through the valley, a shadow stood silently among the trees near the ocean shore.
Two crimson eyes followed his every movement.
“The Samsara God King, Shen Wuyin?” the figure muttered.

The Luoxia Sect is the second Eminent Sect in the South Region, he thought as he locked his gaze on Tan Su. Suddenly, Luo Yuyan’s expression hardened. “Then why is he here? Why wasn’t I informed about it?” Lin Xue lowered himself beside Luo Yuyan, his gaze locked on the ground as though it held the answer. “His mother is Xiao Lengyue, one of the merchants at the main market.” Luo Yuyan glared at him for a second, sending shivers down Lin Xue’s spine. “He is only here for a visit,” Lin Xue said quickly. “He asked to participate in the Meet, nothing more…” “To show off,” Luo Yuyan cut in sharply.
