All eyes turned toward Ayong and Akeng, waiting to see what would happen next.

Akeng looked coldly at Ayong.

His glance swept across the stunned faces; from the anxious-looking Yizhan to the angry Ayong, before stopping on Eadric Rong. His face that originally looked tired now turned into one full of arrogance.

"Arrogant?" Akeng snorted sarcastically. "Of course I'm arrogant. I have my reasons for that. I'm more talented than all of you!" His words were filled with an insulting tone, making many around them feel uncomfortable.

He stepped closer, his expression turning even more arrogant.

"Perhaps you two are jealous of my achievements. I entered a greater dungeon, fought stronger monsters, and brought home Energy Stones and gems of incalculable value. And you?" With a sharp gaze, Akeng glanced at Ayong and Yizhan.

"You guys are just spectators. Even this new comrade of yours," he nodded towards Eadric Rong, "looks ordinary. Is he just pretending to be great?"

  • Temur's Fatal Flight: Justice in the Hadarac Desert

"Hurry up! Hurry! There's a demon behind us!" he shouted, his voice cracking with tension and anxiety that threatened to break his mind. "Run as if the Yellow Springs themselves were opening beneath your hooves!"Whether he realized it or not, his foot was pressing too hard, making his horse's ribs feel broken one by one under the cruel pressure of his fear-driven strength. In the pain that followed, the faithful horse that had carried Temur through countless battles became angry, its animal instincts finally rebelling against its master's abuse. The horse whinnied, a sound full of pain and rage that echoed across the desert like a curse, raised its legs high into the air and threw Temur from the saddle with all its might. The officer flew through the air like a discarded puppet, his arms flailing wildly against the darkening sky.In the midst of his escape, the Hadarac Desert through which he was traveling was filled with dry, withered trees that stood like silent witnesses to countl

  • Unstoppable Force Against Golden Sun Warriors

"He must be a demon! Doesn't deserve to live!" he screeched, his index finger pointing at Eadric Rong and his little creature, as if he wanted to destroy them with a mere glare, his fingernail gleaming like a small dagger in the dying light. "Feel the consequences if you dare to resist my power! Your head will adorn my spear before the moon rises!"Around him stood about three hundred soldiers, ready for battle, their armor gleaming like scales of a massive dragon stretching across the desert sand. With that many soldiers, it shouldn't be a problem to gang up on an armed youngster and a small purple creature. The odds seemed overwhelmingly in their favor, like an ocean against a single drop of water. However, a miracle happened as the purple creature moved with unexpected speed that defied mortal understanding. Its movements were like flowing water, impossible to predict or counter. The trident spear in the creature's hand trembled in its grip, hurtling forward like lightning splittin

  • The White-Robed Youth

In his view, the figure was just a teenager with no visible weapons, not even a common dagger at his waist. There was no way he could take out a hundred soldiers at once. Besides, this teenager didn't seem to have the aura of a cultivator, no rippling qi or battle intent."Perhaps he's using poison," he thought, his mind racing through possibilities like a startled hare.Temur's face suddenly turned cloudy, as a horrifying conclusion invaded his mind like a serpent slithering into a peaceful garden. "You're using poison, aren't you? Hand over your poison to me, boy! Who knew I'd have mercy on you this afternoon! Your life hangs by a thread thinner than a silkworm's spinning!"Temur's expression worsened; anger boiled over when he saw that a mere teenager dared to challenge and intimidate his troops. His face turned the color of ripe plums, and the veins on his neck stood out like ropes. That figure, who wore simple clothes and looked calm as still water in a mountain lake, was Eadric

Blood seeped into the golden grains, creating dark patterns like ancient runes of warning.Angrily, he screeched, his voice echoing far across the vast emptiness of the desert, cutting through the howling wind like a blade through silk. "Come out, you traitors! I know there are those who are hiding and taking advantage while finishing off our soldiers quietly!"Temur's shout, full of passion and panic, was only greeted by a thick silence that hung in the air like a funeral shroud. Not a single voice responded, adding to the tense atmosphere around him, as if even the spirits of the desert dared not speak.Meanwhile, in a forgotten corner sheltered b

  • Qi Explosion Amidst the Sea of Sand.

In the battle that took place on Moye Mountain, when Eadric Rong fought Norzin beneath the ancient pines that had witnessed centuries of martial glory, he met those four Sha Tuo disciples. Their faces were etched in his memory, each detail clear despite the passage of time.Although he didn't say much during that brief encounter, the memory of that meeting was still vivid in his mind, like a painting preserved in perfect detail. Now, when he saw those four young men and women cornered and overwhelmed by the Golden Sun Empire's soldiers, whose numbers seemed as endless as the desert sands, his heart was filled with burning anger that threatened to consume his reason."Finish them all! But that woman, leave her alone in her suffering. She will soon understand that this desert is not only a place of death, but also a place to submit to the rule of our Golden Sun Empire," said an officer with a sardonic smile that revealed teeth filed to points, a barbaric custom of his homeland. His voic

  • The Final Oath of Sha Tuo’s Disciples.

However, despite his fervor and mastery of the third heaven sword techniques, the growing number of soldiers made their struggle seem futile, like trying to empty the ocean with a single cup."Brothers Du Ba, Wan Yi, and Gu Yu... If this battle is indeed going to end with our deaths, then we must do it in a way that will be remembered by the Miao Tribe for generations to come," he added with a serious face, his eyes reflecting the resolve of one who has accepted his fate. "As the ancient saying goes: 'Better to die with honor than live in shame.'""Let's use the Suicide Technique that Master taught us in secret. May our sacrifice not be forgotten, and may our spirits ride the desert winds to the halls of our ancestors." His words hung in the air like a solemn oath, binding them together in their final moments. However, before they could activate the forbidden technique that would turn their life force into a devastating explosion, there was a sharp whistle that echoed throughout the H
